The woman was pacing back and forth waiting for her husband to come home. "Please be ok" she whispered to herself. She was 5'8 feet tall and had raven black hair with a thick and curvy figure, she had deep purple eyes and a sharp jawline and currently she was a nervous wreck. She knew the dangers he'd go through every time he'd leave so she got paranoid every time it took more than an hour for him to get home.

She walked to her bedroom, making a b-line for the crib next to the king sized bed. She looked down inside smiling at the sight. There were two baby's in there, both making loud random noises at each other as if they were having a conversation.

They were both chubby and had smooth silk back white hair, their eyes were bright yellow. The two were almost identical to one another. One baby wore a small shirt that said 'handsome just like his father' the name of this baby was Devin. The other had a shirt that had a panda on it the name of this baby was Darnell.

She giggled at the two and walked out the room to check on her other children. She walked into the backyard to see a large serpent with wings soaring around. It was about 7 feet long with shining bluish gold scales, its head had a large pointed horn extending a couple of feet out. "Aron, what're you doing?" The woman asked her son. The small dragon shifted back into a human boy with raven black hair and purple eyes with blue and black pajamas that had astronauts on them, he looked to be 8 or 9.

"I'm waiting for dad to get home" The boy responded grinning. "Yes I know that but remember the rules" his mother said crossing her arms. He looked down. "No shifting out the house" he said. "Hey, don't be upset. Your father would be happy to see you embracing your dragon side. Just do it in the house" She said smiling ruffling his hair. He nodded and smiled running in the house. Aron had recently learned to shift and now wanted to do it all the time, it was his way of making his proud and beating sisters. Speaking of sisters. She walked to a treehouse right in the entrance of the woods in their backyard. The treehouse looked more like a mansion on a tree as it was 3 stories tall and painted in shining silver. She walked up the stairs into the front door. She opened it and walked in.

She was greeted by two girls at the age of 12. They both had raven black hair however one had a deep dark purple eyes the other had blazing yellow eyes. They stood at 5'8 and were currently sword fighting. Pretty irresponsible parents right? Wrong. Like all hybrids and mystical creatures they had extraordinary powers, and these powers allow them to heal from any physical wound they receive and several other things. The two finished their spar and put their weapons away. The one with yellow eyes ran to her mother grinning. "Did you see that mom?!" She asked. The mother giggled and nodded. "I sure did, Jessie" she said smiling. The purple eyed one walked to her smiling lightly. "We were cool weren't we?" She asked. "Yes Luna. Yes you were. Can you two do me a favor and make the babies bottles while I make lunch?" She asked. They nodded and walked into the house. She smiled to herself. Seeing her kids took the weight off her shoulders and walked out the tree house and into her house to the kitchen

She put on the stove and began to make grilled cheese sandwiches. She whistled to herself and walked into the living room, she heard bickering between Aron and Jessie but allowed it. She turned on the tv and started to watch law and order.

"Be quiet you idiots!You'll wake up the babies" Luna finally snapped at the two. Aron and Jessie glared at her. "You be quiet!" They said. Luna stared for a second. "What type of comeback is that?" She asked with an eyebrow raised. They were about to say something but she cut them off. "Never mind. Don't answer that" she said and began to play on her phone. Aron and Jessie turned their attention to each other. "Wait what were we arguing about again?" Aron asked. "I honestly forgot" Jessie responded. "Wanna play Call of Duty?" Aron asked. "Hell yeah!" Jessie said. She walked to the PlayStation and turned it on and passed Aron a controller and began to play.

The mother was engrossed in the show so much she didn't realize a figure step from the shadows. It was 7 feet tall with a scorpion like tail. It head long claws instead of fingers and had armor plated skin. It made a deep breath making it noticeable to the mother. She gasped and let out a small yelp as it raced towards her. It's tail launching towards her. It was too fast for her as she didnt even get time to move her eyes when it strikes. She thought she was done for and so did the creature until he saw Aron suddenly appear in front of his mother and catch the tail. The creature was surprised. That strike was packed with several teratons of force.

Aron pulled the creature to him and slammed a ball of white energy into his chest making it fly into a wall. The creature screeched and ran towards Aron swiping at him with his tail which Aron stomped on stopping the attack. The creature slashed at Aron but he backflipped out the way and swiped his arm at it decapitating it without touching it. The mother sighed in relief but 15 more popped up and charged at them. Aron stepped in front of his mother determined to keep her safe. Soon there was blood and severed limbs everywhere as Luna and Jessie stood in the middle with their blood covered weapons out. However this time the swords weren't regular. Jessie had a large curved broad sword that had a green glow to them. Luna stood with a purple longsword that had a little light swirling around them. Aron nodded at them and ran into his mothers room to keep the infants safe. Luna and Jessie stood out ready for anything as the monsters kept comming

Aron was fighting as much as he could keeping his brothers safe no matter what. He currently had a force field around them while fighting off whatever creatures spawned from the shadows. He was doing a pretty good job at it too. His sisters were also handling themselves well as they had expert team work. Luna would slow down time on the area of their enimies while Jessie would burn them to ash with bolts of light. They were after all kids and soon grew tired from the fighting.

Aron dropped to one knee panting, a creature stood over him and slashed his stomach tearing it open. Aron's blood splattered to the floor and he screamed. His wound healed and the creature raised his hand looking to do it again however it was knocked off Balance by a gunshot to the back of its head. It turned to see the mother with a rifle. Yeah she wasn't supernatural and couldn't defend herself from these things.

Was she gonna let them hurt her children?

She fired it again and again soon running out of bullets. The creatures armor was intact and it was pissed beyond belief. It turned its attention to her and walked forward. "Mom!" Aron said reaching a hand out. Soon a man appeared in front of her. He was as tall as the monster with white hair and yellow eyes. He was wearing an all all black outfit and he was pissed. He punched the monster, his fist going through its face as if it was a steak knife going through butter. "You alright Selene?" He asked the mother

She sighed and nodded and hugged her husband. Aron was happy to see his father and released the force field on the infants. Luna and Jessie walked in and immediately hugged her father. "We need to leave" the father said with a deep voice. They nodded but didn't bother packing. They reached for the infants but soon an explosion happened catching the father off guard. It engulfed the infants but that's as far as it could get as the father shifted and grabbed everyone and flew a 800 kilometers away. By that time the explosion engulfed the town and the surrounding area within it making it visible even to the family even though their distance. The father shifted back he was on his knees tears in his eyes...his poor baby boys. The rest of the family realized what happened and soon just wept bitterly

There was also crying, but it was in the town in the rubble of the house the cry was that of two infants
