They try to scare us with their guns and knives

They murder and claim, "in the name of the lord"

Our hopes they tried taking

Our spirit they tried breaking

But in the midst of it all, we won't be shaken

Unmoved and steadfast, with guts and fervor 

We would fight and resist against the terror

Although darkness may rule tonight 

And fear may grip the city of light,

The rest of us, with all of our might

Will not back down, we will win this fight.

My brothers and sisters, please do pray 

For those ones that fell this day, 

Even through the pain and sadness 

We mustn't forget to pray for Paris.
