Melody is a hybrid. It's a long story. See, the Cullens and Rosalie don't know this but Melody is Rosalie's daughter. She was born right before Carlisle found Rosalie, but like Alice the transformation may have blocked out certain parts of Rosalie's life and it was hard to tell she was hard to tell she was expecting because she didn't show. So Melody grew up in foster homes where she was abused but never got adopted.

One day when she was in her late teens her parents who unknown to her were both vampires but not vegetarian vampires, wanted a quick snack. So one pinned her down while the other bit her and drained her of most of her blood and dumped her in a cornfield. Unknown to her foster parents, there was a little blood and a little venom in her. Three days later Melody woke up as a vampire/human hybrid since the venom didn't fully turn her. She has some brain damage thanks to the abuse from her human life, and she also lives with the Denalis ever since they saw her through her newborn year. She has one gold eye and one of Rosalie's blue eyes. Anything else please ask. Her crush is open but keep in mind she's straight. She also has the power of invisibility
