Edwards P.O.V

I couldn't find Bella i ran straight to her house but the only people there was her father and her sister. Since i couldn't find her i decided to follow her scent as i was following it i realized it lead to the woods and i quickly got worried. Why would Bella come to the woods for? Doesn't she know there are dangerous creatures out here?  I need to find her! I started running full speed when i realized she in the woods but after a while of following her scent i lost it and i got confused. Nobody's scent just disappears into thin air that's impossible. I ran through the woods trying to find her still but came to nothing. I quickly got worried and was heading back home to Carlisle when i caught it her scent again. It was like it magically reappeared out of nowhere.

I was so happy that i found her until i realized that shes in the house full of vampires! Jasper's the newest to the vegetarian life style what if he slips and.....NO! I can't have that happen! I thought in my head and pushed myself to run faster. I arrived home quickly and rushed inside to find Bella but then i slowed down remembering that im a vampire and she's just a human. I couldn't hear what they were talking about because my mind was on Bella and if she was safe.

As soon as i stepped in the room everyone froze including Bella! She looked nervous and scared while Carlisle and Esme just looked nervous i tried to here there thoughts as to why they let Bella in but i couldn't hear anything which made me confused. "Edward.."Bella whisper so low probably thinking i couldn't hear her. I smiled and whispered her name back "Bella" as soon as i said her name her heart started to beat faster and she blushed. I smelt her blood and it was starting to call to me again since i didn't hunt on the way back like i planned. I knew my eyes turned black with hunger since Carlisle and Esme gave me that worry look.

I turned around to try to fix myself when i heard a car door slam and a knock at the door. I smelt the familiar blood smell and knew it was Bella's sister. "I'll get it" Esme said getting up from the couch to go open the door. I heard Bella stiff and i think she knew who was here because she let out a low growl which was strange since shes human. She immediately stopped growling after i thought that and i wondered if i said it out loud.

"Bella its for you" Esme called and then whispered low to me saying "Edward walk her to the door please" I nodded my heard in her direction and walked over to Bella who seemed to be having a mind conversation with Carlisle which was strange but i ignored it and motioned for bella which in turn Carlisle looked away from her and to me with worry. I wonder why everyone is having a worry look today? Did something happen that i missed? All of a sudden i heard Carlisle voice in my head "Son you've been frozen for some time now c'mon take Bella to her father and sister" I nodded to him and smiled at Bella who still seemed nervous Man did Rosalie scare Bella or something? Oh what i would give to read her mind.

As she got up and walked towards me i heard her heart beat faster with every step which made me happy. As we walked to the door i decided to tell her sorry about the other day "Bella im sorry about my sister" I said quickly "Its fine Edward but what i don't get is why she would hurt a teenager when she did nothing" she said looking down at the ground "She was just in a bad mood Bella she didn't mean to" i said trying to defend my sister. Wow im defending the wicked witch what is happening to me i thought and heard Bella laugh. "Sorry i was just thinking of something funny" she said seeing my confused face. "Oh what were you thinking?" i asked curious "Hm how you just defended the wicked witch of the school" she said as i laughed and then realized i was thinking that too. Her laughter died down and then she turned serious and said "I know your sister doesn't like me Edward but tell her to leave me sister alone" "I will i promise Bella" i said calmly as she stopped walking. "Thanks Edward" she said and gave me a quick hug. I froze for a moment and she was about to pull away when i rapped my arms around her and hugged her back. I felt nice standing there hugging her and it seemed that we both didn't want to let go but we did when her sister called her name. "Bella! C'mon!" Bella laughed and then told me goodbye and walked towards her sister. I watched as they drove off and couldn't help but think what a amazing girl Bella is. I barley figured out today that she's my mate and that she's human but i also realized that i was already in love with her.
