Bella's P.O.V

After almost getting caught last night i decided i needed to go visit my family the Volturi. I needed answers and they were the only ones i could go to for them. I know Carlisle knows my past but i don't want anyone else knowing about me other than Esme and him. If Edward and his siblings found out they could try to hurt me. Although somehow i doubt Edward would let them. He kept thinking a lot about me and i didn't even know he had the power to read minds until i stretched my invisible shield over him and me which gave me some insight into Edwards mind. When i let go of it though i wanted to know more about him but i knew for some reason Edward couldn't stand me and that hurt a lot. So i decided that i need a few days off of school and luckily Phil agreed but he said Bree was still going whether she liked it or not. Of course she knew how to get out of it by making her eyes turn back to the bright red it was before and saying she hasn't fed in a while so she got her way out of school.

"Bella the door!" Phil called from downstairs "Ugh coming!" i said walking downstairs to see who could be at our house at 10pm. When i opened the door i was surprised to see Jane,Alec,Demetri,and Felix! "Uh what are u guys doing here?!" i yelled as the walked inside casually. "We came to visit u and Master Aro heard from Phil that there's other vampires in town so we came to protect u to" Demetri said calmly "Thanks for the visit but i don't need protection there veggie vampires!" i said getting angry "Wait really?" Alec said coming forward looking at me "Yes Alec" i said sighning remembering last time he was here. He looked at me and then sighned too and said "Bella i'm sorry for that can we please still be friends?" "Yes as long as u never do that again" i said seriously "I promise" he said holding out his pinkie. I giggled and we pinkie promised.

After that everybody started talking to one another and we acted all normal until Phil had to ruin the moment by saying "Bella come eat supper honey bun!" i groaned and got angry when he called me that and was about to give him a piece of my mind when Bree came rushing down the stairs. "Foods ready?" she asked Phil in the kitchen "Oh my god Bree u scared me!" we heard Phil scream which caused him to drop whatever he was holding "Sorry dad" she said sounding sad. I ran into the kitchen using my speed and saw glass all over the floor. "I'm not cleaning that up" i said seriously. All of a sudden i heard hisses behind me and saw all my friends looking at Bree like food and a danger. I quickly stepped in front of her to shield her.

"Bella who's this?" Jane said hissing "She smells good" Demetri and Felix said. "Mine!"Alec said and ran forward towards us. I used my shield and wrapped it around him stopping him from coming anywhere near Bree. Alec though kept fighting against it and growling "MINE! i then looked at him closely and saw his eyes full of something that looked like protectiveness and love? I grew confused and then took my shield away. As soon as i did he went straight for Bree and held her in his arms...purring? What is going on here?! "Uh Jane?Demetri?Felix?" i said as they stopped there attacking position.

"He found his mate" Jane whispered looking a little sad and jealous. "Wow"Demetri said looking at Alec purring to Bree. "She's his mate? Hm interesting pair" Felix laughed i rolled my eyes and then saw Bree looking at me curiously as if asking my permission to....Oh...oh my god..."Um Bree uh mark him when we go to the living room ok? And um nothing other then marking please Bree" I said as the guard all began to bust out laughing. She blushed and Alec tilted her head towards him and growled at the guard to stop laughing at his mate. "Well we better leave before they begin there mark" Felix said smirking i hit him in his chest and he winced "Ow Bella!" Jane laughed and then we all went toward the living room again.

"Jane,Demetri can u explain to me how mates feel towards one another?" i asked curiosuly The looked at me both in shock and then Felix said "What about me?" i rolled my eyes and said "Ur not a expert u just like having fun and playing games" i said he was about to say something when he just tilted his head to the side and said "Touche" I laughed and looked at Demetri and Jane again. "Well we don't really know since we don't have mates but from what Aro said i know u end up being attrated to one another" Jane says "And when u touch u feel tiny sparks and when there touch is gone u crave them more" Demetri added "Then there's the marking" Alec said coming into the room with Bree who had a huge mark on her neck. "U also feel the need to protect them and never leave them alone" Bree added silently. I looked at her like How the hell do u know look. "I can feel it right now" she said shyly "Ok" i said thinking of all the things they said. "Also Alec i said a little mark not that huge thing that will stand out in school tomorrow!" i yelled at him and threw a pillow at his head but Bree caught it and said "U should see his"i then narrowed my eyes at the two and was ready to attack them when i smelt Edwards scent. "Uh oh" i said and froze

"Bella?"Jane said trying to get my attention but all i could do was stare at my window where Edward was. He looked at me but couldn't tell if i could see him in the dark night. I grabbed a notepad to write down whats going on but Demetri already caught his scent and was about to go outside and take him out when i pulled him down and hissed. I grabbed the notpad and wrote that's the other vampire in the town there's a coven of them. Act normal and head straight to the guest bedroom while i go outside and distract him. They all looked at me and were about to look at the window when i snapped my fingers in the faces and shook my head no and pointed upstairs. They looked at each other and nodded and started heading upstairs as soon as they were gone i turned off the lights and headed outside. I looked outside and started walking to the woods where i knew he would follow me.

I sighed i might have to tell him the truth about everything or just move far away. Whatever i do i know one thing i might end up broken after this considering i found my mate in....Edward Cullen.
