Jasper Hale- Life: Part 1 (h)
From when you were little, your picture of your future was that idyllic life of meeting someone at the most perfect point in your life and when you were fully prepared to have a change.
It didn't happen like that.
It happened when you were stressed from exams, working weekends to get a bit of extra cash, and just generally a tad frazzled.
Two years later, however, you wouldn't have changed meeting Jasper.
Jasper had been your rock ever since you met, but for the past six months he had been there more than ever.
You'd fallen ill suddenly, and it had gotten quite bad quite quickly.
No one had any idea what was wrong.
Carlisle had been trying every different thing he could think of to make you better but it wasn't getting anywhere.
You were curled up in your bed, technically yours and Jasper's, whilst trying not to hate your life as you were not feeling any better whatsoever.
Jasper came into the room, and sat down on the edge of the bed "How are you feeling?"
You looked up at him "Is death an answer?"
He sighed, leaning down to press a kiss to your forehead, "I can't stand seeing you like this."
"You've been seeing me like this for the past sixth months," you reminded him "We all know I'm not going to get better, and the one thing I want is for everyone to stay happy after I'm gone okay?"
He shook his head "I'm not losing my mate. Not now and not ever."
"There's nothing you can do Jas," you gently held his hand as you spoke "Carlisle has been trying ever since I got sick, and he's gotten nowhere."
Before jasper responded, someone cleared their throat from the doorway.
Jasper stood up allowing you to see Carlisle stood there "I may have an idea," he announced.
He made his way into the room, grabbing a chair to sit down on whilst Jasper sat back down on the bed.
"I do not know if Jasper would be willing, however there is one way we can ensure you will get better."
Jasper seemed to know what Carlisle was talking about, as he began to frantically shake his head "Carlisle," he said as a warning.
Carlisle held up his hand "Jasper, you know that if you turned her she would be better."
You slowly sat up, despite it hurting to do so, "You mean turn me to a vampire? Like you guys?"
Carlisle nodded in confirmation.
You looked to Jasper who did not look impressed "I'm not turning her. She does not deserve this life."
"She deserves a chance at a life Jasper," Carlisle argued.
"Jas," your words caused Jasper to turn to you "If it means I still get to live my life, and with you, then I want to do it."
