You loved when it snowed; it wasn't even the snow itself, it was just the connotations of the snow.

It made it a white Christmas, the gardens had snowmen and snow angels, snowball fights could commence.

Snow had always been associated with Christmas, and rightly so due to people always wanting a white Christmas and being able to enjoy Christmas in front of the fire with the snow falling outside the window.

Your boyfriend, being a shapeshifter, never even felt the cold so him staying out in the snow for ages didn't affect him and that made it all the better due to him happily agreeing to snowball fights or long walks through the snow.

When you woke up to see a thick layer of snow on the ground, you had excitedly woken Jacob up but he wasn't the best impressed.

"Come on Jake" you complained at your boyfriend, who was taking an absolute century to get ready to go out.

You had been wanting to go out for a walk since you woke up, but of course you respected the whole thing of Jacob wanting a shower and something to eat.

Jacob just laughed and came over to peck your lips which caused you to smile "I still want to go" you told him and he just rolled his eyes.

He slipped your coat on over your shoulders, and put his own on before the both of you put some gloves on "I love it when you're like this" he said before he kissed your cheek.

You blushed slightly and smiled over at him "When I act like a child?" you asked before laughing.

Jacob shook his head, wrapping his arm around you shoulder, "No. When you're excited about things" he complimented you.

Your arm automatically went around Jacob's waist as the two of you left the house "How can you not get excited about snow though?" you queried which made Jacob chuckle.

"I never said I didn't get excited about it Baby" he reminded you with a smirk on his face "I just don't get as excited as you do" he explained.

You giggled and Jacob pulled you closer, before a comfortable silence fell upon the both of you. Neither of you wanting to say anything because you were both content with walking and enjoying each other's company.

"I like this" Jacob broke the silence as he spoke, and then smiled when you looked up at him inquisitively, "Just being able to enjoy some time with you, no pack, no friends, no nothing" he further explained his point.

"I agree Jake. It's good to take a break like this" you agreed with him and he smiled "I love you so much" you stated as you looked up at him again.

Jacob's smile grew, leaning down to kiss you "I love you too Baby, so much"
