Sealkit and Orcakit started life off badly.

Both of their parents died soon after their birth and SplashClan had no queens for them to get milk from.

Coralstar made a decision to send the two kits away to TideClan, where there were plenty of queens. However, they were to be returned to SplashClan when they reached the age of six moons.

The leader of TideClan, Shellstar, took them into the clan and his mate, Featherheart provided them with milk. Both of her kits died soon after birth and she and Shellstar were overjoyed to have two she-kits to look after.

Sealkit and Orcakit grew close to their adoptive parents and the other cats in the clan. The two couldn't really remember their short time in SplashClan and had no idea that they'd be taken back soon.

When the time came, Shellstar and Featherheart were devastated and lived in the fear that they'd be taken away at any moment.

No SplashClan warriors turned up by the time they were a bit older than six moons old. 

Ecstatic, Shellstar apprenticed the two as Sealpaw and Orcapaw. The two trained for a moon, until a SplashClan warrior named Shoreleaf came into the camp.

He insisted that they return to SplashClan. 

Sealpaw refused.

But Orcapaw agreed...
