Plot

Deerstar is the leader of PineClan.

Badgershade is a loyal MossClan warrior.

Tulipwhisper is the deputy of RippleClan.

Minnowskip is the newly-appointed medicine cat of BrightClan.

Four very different cats, who in ordinary circumstances, would likely never interact.

However, after Deerstar, falls sick with a terminal illness, she decides to speak with StarClan and asks the leaders of each of the other clans to send her a few cats to accompany her.

Mintberry, Moonblossom and Badgershade of MossClan are picked.

Tulipwhisper, Elderpaw and Adderleap from RippleClan are chosen.

Minnowskip, Smokedrift and Owlpaw are selected from BrightClan.

Deerstar does this because she wants to get to know more cats from the other three clans.

The cats head to the Moonstone, but little do they know the horrors that await them...

First, a tree falls down into a telephone wire, causing a forest fire.

Smokedrift, ironically dies from inhaling too much smoke and the group are forced to head away from the Moonstone and into unknown territory, to escape the flames.

Shortly after, they set up a temporary camp by a river.

Unfortunately, Owlpaw dies in the night, from accidentally eating a deathberry instead of a blueberry, as he couldn't see in the dark.

As the cats bury the fallen apprentice, Badgershade scents a fox and they are forced to abandon Owlpaw.

They find a new place to stay for the night on top of a hill, with Moonblossom and Tulipwhisper on watch.

Deerstar meets with StarClan in her dreams that night and angrily swears to turn her back on her warrior ancestors, as they'd let innocent cats die.

Adderleap and Moonblossom go hunting in the following morning, whilst Tulipwhisper, Mintberry and Elderpaw check that the fire has been put out.

Only Tulipwhisper and Elderpaw return, Mintberry having been killed by the fox the had scented on the previous night.

Knowing that StarClan is punishing them, Deerstar begs for forgiveness when she dozes of during the day.

However, they don't appear in her dreams and she wakes up, dreading the worst.

Adderleap returns with Moonblossom lying limp in her jaws, explaining that she'd fallen in the river and drowned.

Deerstar suggests they return to their clans and the remaining cats set off to go home.

However, when they get there - their territory has been destroyed by the fire, leaving no survivors.

Horrified, the few cats left - Deerstar, Minnowskip, Adderleap, Badgershade, Tulipwhisper and Elderpaw leave their territory for good.

Unfortunately, they are unable to find their makeshift camp, where Owlpaw had died and instead sleep in a hollow log.

Elderpaw passes away from frostbite during the night.

After burying yet another cat, Deerstar finally decides that they should go to the Moonstone and beg to be forgiven.

The night before they leave, Tulipwhisper wakes up, feeling class scrape her.

She quickly realises that Adderleap is trying to murder her...

You decide what happens next!

Tips

Add proper character development, to make readers feel sad when some of them die.

The deaths don't have to be exactly what I described and you can change characters and story as much as you like!
