Chapter Thirty Three

After my call with William I handed Martha her phone back and smiled gratefully. I was still a little shaken from my first conversation with William in months but I was also getting excited at the prospect of seeing him.

"What did he say?"Martha asked cutting into my thoughts.

"He'll be here soon."I answered tapping my foot in nervousness.

"Great, my husband seems to be running late too so what do you as we get to know each other a little bit more. It might help calm your nerves."She suggested.

"Of course. How long have you been married to your husband?"I asked not wanting to leave the weight of the whole conversation on her.

"Sixty blissful years next month."She replied smiling fondly possibly thinking about her husband.

"Wow that's a long time to be with one person."

"I know dear and the old bag gets to my nerves all the time but I'd not have it any other way. We fell in love young but I knew from the beginning that we were meant to be."She explained with a smile on her face.

"That's beautiful. I hope to have what you two have some day."

She patted my hand and smiled "You already do dear, you just have to open your heart to receive it."

I wanted William and I to have what Martha and her husband had. I knew it wouldn't be easy but if William met me half way then I had nothing to fear.

Martha and I continued to talk getting to know each other. She was very kind and motherly and I wanted to be as kind as her when I grew old. She told me that she had spent Christmas with her son in another state while her husband had to stay back because of some health issues. They had always spent new years together that's why she had flown home to him. Their love story was beautiful.

Half an hour later Martha was showing me the Christmas photos she took with her lovely grandkids when her name was called. We both looked up and her face lit up when she saw who was calling her. It was a greying old man who still looked good for his age meaning he had been a heartbreaker when he was younger. He had a bouquet of flowers in hand and a wide smile on his face. Martha got up and met him halfway in a sweet embrace. He gave her the flowers and they kissed. It was so sweet and romantic. They seemed so in love it was a wonder they had been together for sixty years. I hoped that if William and I managed to fix everything we would be together in sixty years and manage to grow old together.

Martha approached me and introduced her husband. He was just as nice as she was and was very sympathetic when he heard the short version of my story.

"Dear we need to go now. Are you sure you will be okay?"Martha asked.

"Yeah of course, William will be here soon."

"Okay I hope you two fix everything and find happiness together. Here is my number, you call me anytime. I'd love to have you over if you decide to stay and hear how everything went."She said handing me her number written on a piece of paper.

I stashed it safely in my backpack and turned to her with a smile.

"I will be safe and thank you so much for everything."I smiled appreciatively.

They both hugged me before Caleb helped his wife with her bags and they walked arm in arm out of the airport. I hugged my arms around myself looking at the door longingly wondering when William would arrive. It was almost an hour since I had called him so he should have been there already. Feeling hungry I decided to buy a coffee and a muffin from the airport cafeteria. I didn't want to eat much since I was still unfamiliar with my environment and didn't know what was good for me and what wasn't.

Thirty minutes later I was done with my muffin and William still wasn't there. Feeling my hope dwindle that maybe he had changed my mind about picking me up I gathered my bags and headed out of the airport. I was planning on taking a taxi to the nearest hotel and getting some rest. I'd deal with the William issue after I had gotten some rest. It was getting darker and colder plus the airport was getting deserted so I had to leave.

As I exited the gates to get into the cold winter night I ran into someone. I let go of my suitcase and stumbled back but the glass door behind me saved me from a terrible fall as the person fell on top of me crushing me under him. They knocked the air out of me making my ribs hurt but all that faded when I recognized them. The first thing that I noticed when I could finally breath well was the familiar scent of his cologne. Then he spoke and his voice registered in my ears and I identified it immediately.

"I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going."He apologized and since I was shorter than him he had completely covered me so he couldn't see me.

He moved away and I reluctantly let go of his jacket that I'd gripped on my way down to stop me from falling. He looked down at me just as I opened my eyes to look up at him. His eyes widened in recognition and mine just welled with tears at seeing him for the first time in two months.

Without thinking I launched myself at him wrapping my hands around his neck. He was fast to catch me putting his hands on my thighs and hoisting me up so my legs were wrapped around my waist. One of his hands went under my ass holding me up and the other held my head to his neck. I sobbed my heart out at the crook of his neck, letting go of everything I'd been holding back. I didn't care if we were broken up, I had missed him.

He didn't say anything just held me close and swayed with me in his arms. I clung tightly to him afraid that if I let go he'd disappear and I'd never see him again. I had no idea how long we stood there in the cold hugging but I'd stopped crying at some point and my cries had been reduced to tiny sniffles. William made no intention of putting me down and I held on not wanting to let him go either.

Finally William broke the silence and I lifted my face from his neck to look at him. He had been crying too and I used the pads of my thumbs to wipe away the tears from his face.

"Hi Angel."

"Hi William."

"I have so much to say but let's get you out of the cold first, you're shivering."He said and removed his hands to set me down but I only held on tighter.

"Baby you have to let go so I can take you to the car, it's much warmer in there."He explained.

I shook my head and snuggled back to the crook of his neck. William chuckled and gave up trying to get me off him. I had no idea why I was acting so clingy. All I knew is that I didn't want to be apart from William for even a second, we'd already spent enough time apart as it was.

William found a way to grab my suitcase with me still in his arms and walked across the parking lot to his white audi. I heard him unlock the trunk of the car and put my suitcase in there. He helped me remove my backpack from my back and put it together with my suitcase. He then moved to the driver's side and through some miracle was able to sit both of us behind the wheel with me on his lap. The car was warmer and it smelled like William which to me was perfect.

I knew William wanted us to talk so I reluctantly let go of his neck and looked up to meet his gaze. Instead of talking he reached over to the passenger seat and handed me a white hoodie. I was feeling cold so I shrugged it on and felt his scent washing over me encompassing all my senses.

"How are you here?"William asked after a few more minutes of silence.

"Simon found a way to get me all my documents. He bought me a ticket with the money you gave me when you visited."I explained summarizing the long story.

"And your aunt just let you go?"

"No we got into a huge fight on Christmas eve and I finally left, crashed on Simon's sofa for a few days and now here I am."

"Here you are."He went silent after that and I knew he had so much more to say so I gave him time to compose himself.

"I am so sorry for everything my love. I promised to never hurt you yet that's exactly what I did. I love you so much and I don't want to loose you. I swear that I didn't cheat on you, I would never even think about it. You've got to believe me."He pleaded looking down in shame.

I cupped his face and brought his eyes to meet mine.

"I do believe you. I talked to Harry before boarding the plane and met Natalia. They explained everything."I assured him and he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank you Angel. I'm a little hurt you talked to Harry before you talked to me but I totally understand why. It still doesn't excuse how I treated you the months prior to our break up though. I'm really sorry for that, it'll never happen again. You're my world and I will spend the rest of my days showing you that."He promised.

"I'm not mad anymore. Honestly I understand everything and I'm just happy to be here with you. I missed you so much."I confessed.

"I missed you too Angel."

We locked eyes and found ourselves leaning towards each other. When our lips met my whole body warmed up from the inside. His lips felt familiar, safe and like the home I had been looking for all along. His tongue tasted like chocolate and I found myself moaning as I deepened the kiss with both my hands in his hair. His hands were on my waist pulling me towards him till there was no breathing space between us. I was finally in his arms and I wasn't planning on leaving anytime soon.

After a few minutes we had to pull away to catch our breath, our foreheads pressed against each other.

"How long are you here for?"William asked pecking my lips after we had both stopped breathing raggedly.

"My visitors visa is for six months but I only have enough cash to last me a month."I explained.

He was silent for a while and I could see the wheels turning in his head before he turned to me with a victorious smile on his face.

"Don't worry about the money, when you're with me you never have to think about that. How long do you want to stay?"

"For as long as you'll have me."I replied honestly.

"Then how do you feel about turning that Visitors Visa of yours to a student Visa. Then you can stay for a while longer and if everything goes well between us, we can tie the knot and make you a permanent citizen."He proposed.

"Are you serious?"I asked feeling both excited and scared.

"Like a heart attack."He replied grinning.

This is what I'd always wanted. To be free from my aunt, in love, working for my future and happy. William was the key to that and even though it was a little early in our relationship to be thinking about marriage, I could see us there in the future.

"Yes to all."I replied and a winning grin graced his face as he pulled me down for a kiss.

We kissed for a while both excited for our future together. It was going to be amazing as long as I had William by my side.

"Thank you so much Angel. You will not regret that decision."He promised."Now can you please move to the passengers side so I can drive you home. My mom wants to meet you."

"Do I have to move?" I whined loving my position on his lap.

"Yes we can't stay here forever and as fun as it sounds, driving with you in my lap in the snow is risky."He explained and I pouted.

I leaned over and pecked his lips before sliding to the passengers seat but still holding his hand in mine. He smiled at that before starting the car and driving out of the airport.

"So what do you think of Montana so far?" He asked staring conversation.

"Its an amazing place but super cold. It's my first time seeing snow and it's beautiful."I exclaimed.

"I plan to give you the world my darling. Thank you for finding your way to me and giving me another chance. I love you so much."He professed lifting my hand to his lips and kissing my palm.

"I love you more William."I smiled at him.

As we drove through the beautiful snow to his parents house my eyes were stuck on William. He was my future and I was happy I had taken that leap of faith to find him. We had a lot to figure out but as long as we were together everything would be okay. I'm glad I'd commented on his video almost a year back because now my future was with him and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I looked at the clock and noticed that it was a few seconds to midnight. Time had flown so fast but I was looking forward to starting a whole new year and a whole new life with the love of my life.

Once the clock turned exactly midnight I turned to William and kissed his cheek.

"Happy new year William."

He stopped the car at a red light and turned to face me cupping my face in his hands and kissing me.

"Happy new year Angel. To the rest of our lives together."

"To forever."

We sealed the promise with a kiss before he resumed driving.

To forever and ever.

THE END!!

❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤎🤍❣️💕💓💗💖

That's the end of it my darlings. I'll think about bonus chapters but that's only if I get requests but for now I think that's a fitting end.

That's my first and honestly my last dialogue story. I like details in my stories and dialogue stories doesn't give much room for that. It was a nice experience and awesome while it lasted but it was a one time thing.

Thanks to all those who stuck with me during the month of February 2021 as I wrote it. You are my angels. I love you all so much. For those who read it after, I appreciate you and thanks for sticking to the end. You are blessed.

Feel free to check out my other books. I have six complete full novels and it would mean the world to me if you read them.

That's all for now. Bye until we meet again in my next book. I love you all. Be blessed.
