Once upon a time, there was a mermaid with the most charming voice under the sea. Every creature, fish to sharks, stop to listen to her voice. The mermaid was a daughter of the great merman King and a sister to the five sisters. She had a good princess life, a caring father king, five loving sisters each one year apart. As the youngest of the siblings, she was treated good receiving tips and jokes from her older siblings.

The father, the King, tells his daughters they will get to see a glimpse of the other world when fifteen. One by one, the little mermaid's sisters see a different world bragging their stories making her excited to her fifteenth birthday. And soon came her turn.

She found a ship, a human ship, that had a prince on board. His charming attitude and handsome face made her fall in love in a blink of an eye.

But a storm knocked down the ship drowning the charming prince. Although it was forbidden as a mermaid or merman, she rescued the prince setting him onshore. She left without saying a word before the unconscious prince woke up.

Love is a powerful thing to make humans or mermaid.

The prince's perfect face, his charming everything did not let the young mermaid let go of her love too easily. The mermaid asked her wise grandmother about the difference between a mermaid and humans life. The grandmother answered that mermaid can live up to three hundred years and turn into sea form when died, while humans have a much shorter life and go to heaven instead.

The mermaid was blind by the power of love. She visited a sea witch that gave a bargain for two legs and her tongue and voice. But there was more. When consuming the potion pain will hurt as if death was a bubble close and each time she walked, it will feel as if sharp knives were stabbing her foot. Also, she will never return to the sea. Though, the mermaid will get to dance like no human have ever danced.

But there was more.

If the mermaid never wins the prince's heart and the prince marries someone else, she will die and turn into sea form.

Love is powerful and scary. The mermaid has agreed to the deal.

She had human legs like promised and also was found by the charming prince. Although the former mermaid was mute, her dance, her grace, and her beauty made her a favorite companion to the prince. Not love though.

The prince's parents, King, and queen encouraged their son to marry a neighbor princess. But he loved someone else, no, not the mermaid, a girl from a temple. The girl was the princess. And they soon came to a day for their wedding.

Instead of a stop, they married in peace in the mermaid's heart broke. All sacrifices into nothing. Her home, the painful steps she did to dance, her family, the princess was doomed.

But she had one remaining thing, sisters that loved her.

The mermaid sisters exchanged the sea witch for a knife with their beautiful hair. This knife will make her mermaid once more if blood was dropped on her feet. Not any blood, the prince.

Love made her blind once more.

Instead of killing the prince, the mermaid sacrificed herself than became air.

Not all love has a happy ending. And this once upon a time has ended like that. But what about twice upon a time?
