It is easy to hate. It is so easy to choose to hate someone because they are different from you. Because they believe something contrary to your own beliefs. Because they hurt you once. Because they hurt someone you love once. Because you don't understand them. Because you simply never try to not hate them.
It is hard to love. It is hard to accept those who are not like you. It is hard to accept those who believe things you do not believe. It is hard to love those who have hurt you and those you love. It is hard to choose to love someone simply because you do not choose to hate them.
But love...
Choosing to love is the best choice you can ever make. Because love changes the world. Love changes lives. Your love can be the thing that saves someone else.
So I choose to love. Every day I choose to love as many people as I possibly can. It's hard, but it's amazing.
