Chapter 3: Alone with him

I woke up in my bedroom. I remembered I fell asleep in the mini library but why am I here? I know I was with- Oh no. Did Suho carry me here? He shouldnt have carried me. I can sleep in the mini library.

I stood up and went to the bathroom. I wear my denim shorts and gray T-shirt. I grabbed my pikachu jacket and wore it. I left my room and went downstairs. I noticed that the house was so quiet. 'Did they went somewhere?' I thought.

I went to the living room and saw Jongin, watching TV. "Goodmorning Hana!" he waved at me and smiled.

"Goodmorning Jongin" I smiled at him and went to the kitchen. When I entered the kitchen I saw a plate with cookies. There was a folded paper near. I get it and read it.

Dont forget to eat this Hana! I baked this for you :)

I smiled and ate the cookies. 'I wanna go to the park' I thought. I finished eating the cookies so I washed the plate. I went to the living room to see if Jongin is still there but when I arrived the living room he was gone. 'Where did he go? I know he was here awhile ago' I thought.

I went to the backyard and saw a swing. I sat on the swing and looked at the forest. 'What if I go in the forest?' I thought. I stood up and walked towards the forest. I was almost there but someone called me.

"Hana! Come back here! Your not allowed to go there!" I looked at my back and saw Jongin. 'I thought he was gone?' I thought.

"Mianhe Jongin. I just saw something" I looked down. I dont want to tell him that I want to go in.

"Its fine. Just dont go inside okay? Its dangerous. Lets go now" I nodded and followed him back in the house.

He went back to the living room and watched TV. I went to my room and wore my black high-cut shoes. Yes, its the shoes that Eunji told me to wear yesterday. I grabbed my phone and put it in the pocket of my jacket. I went downstairs.

"Jongin, Im just gonna go to the park" I was about to leave but he stopped me.

"Im going with you"

"Anio.... I can go alone" I walked at the other side but he blocked my way.

"Eunji told me to follow you where ever you go and if I dont, she will get angry at me"

"Ahh.... fine. You can come with me" he smiled.

We both went to the park. I can see kids playing in the playground. I sat on the bench and my only view was the playground. I smiled as I remember my memories from the past.

"Why are you smiling?" I remember that Jongin was with me. I looked at him and shook my head.

"You can tell me anything but if you dont like then just nevermind" he looked at the playground.

"By the way, why do you want to go here?"

"Its because I always go here"

"Always? Why?"

"Because maybe he might show up again"

"Wait.... He? Who?"

"My childhood friend. I never knew his name. He just suddenly disappear"

"What do you mean 'suddenly disappear'?"

"I should tell you the whole story so that you will understand"

-FLASHBACK-

I went to the park with my eomma. She just sat on the bench and read a book. I went to the playground and saw a boy crying.

"Why are you crying?" he wiped his tears.

"B-because *sniff* they dont want to *sniff* play with me *sniff*" he pointed at the 3 boys.

"I will play with you!" I smiled at him.

"Jinjja?" he wiped some of his tears.

I nodded "Only if you stop crying" he nodded and smiled.

"Good! Lets play now!" we both played and played. I was really happy because I finally made a friend. Before, I played by myself but now, Im playing with someone.

I heard eomma calling my name "I have to go now"

"Lets play tomorrow again!" I nodded

"See you tomorrow! Bye" I waved at him and went to eomma.

Everyday, I go to the park to play and see him. My eomma was also happy because I made a friend. Im always happy whenever I see him. But one day....

"Before you go, I want to give you something" he get something in his pocket. It was a key.

"I want you to have this. It will represent our friendship" he smiled as I get it. I looked at it and smiled.

"Gomawo. I like it"

"I also have one. Its the same" he showed it to me. It was just the same.

"Please dont lose that. Just keep it safe where it will never be lost" I nodded.

"I promise that I will never lose this" he nodded and waved at me

"Bye!"

The next day, I went back to the park. I looked for him but he wasnt there. I just waited and waited but he never came. I was sad that he didnt came.

The next day again, I went to the park but he's still not there. I waited but he didnt came again.

Everyday just became sad. Thats where I notice that he will never come back.

-END OF FLASHBACK-

"Thats why you always go here?" I nodded

"But you knew already that he will never come back right?" I nodded again

"Then why do you still go here?"

"Because there might be a possibility that he will come back"

He sighed "Do you still have the key?" I nodded

"Can I see it?"

"Sorry Kai but you cant" I smiled at him
