Day Two
On the second day of Christmas, my Mallu St.Nick gave to me..
Bels: Day two and still behind. Merry Early Christmas everyone.
Nephilim: What's Christmas Mom?
Lannel: A celebration we all share in December. Usually with an idol by the name of Santa
Russek: I think Krampus gave me coal when I was a kid. He was our..'Santa'
Bels: Only three today? Not a problem
Bels rustles around his backpack
Bels: For you Nephilim, I thought I let you in on some new Christmas.
Bels pulls out a Dradle. (Pardon my spelling)
Bels: This is called a Dradle. You spin the clay top and when it lands on a side you shout out the symbol
Nephilim: Oh wow. Thanks sir.
Bels: For you angel, a necklace from holy water cooled blessed gold.
Bels hands her a small charm heart half made of gold
Lannel: Thank you, but why is it only half a heart?
Bels: You'll see in just a second.
Bels fumbles quickly about for the other gift.
Bels: For you Mr. Demon, the other heart half made from the fiercest of hell fire.
Bels hand him a heart half of steel.
Russek: Steel? Why is that?
Bels: Well its quite poetic to be honest. A mother with a heart of gold, like love and care. The father is tough and strong like steel, defending and toughening him and his son for many generations to come.
Russek and Lannel look toward Nephilim who plays with his new dradel.
Russek: So he does.
Lannel leans on Russek's shoulder.
Lannel: Heart of gold and Soul of steel. I like that.
Nephilim runs up to them and smiles showing off how to play with his toy.
Bels: Seems my work is done for today, I wonder what else is in store for the coming days.
Bels laughs before blowing on a corn cob pipe filled with bubbles.
Bels: Ech, how do they do it?
