SELF HARM
ALCOHOL ADDICTION
Minerva slammed the door to violet' house, leaving Violet crying on the floor. The poor girl stood up after what seemed like hours of crying. She walked into the kitchen as tears blurred her vision and opened a cabinet to reveal vodka. (Two shots of vodka). Violet opened the bottle and chugged from it, she knew what she was doing was extremly harmful for her, she knew she would probably get addicted again but at this point, she didn't care.
Louis was sitting on his couch, playing videogames while facetiming Marlon. His phone started ringing as he looked over. The contact name read 'Minerva'. He quickly hung up because he wanted to stay on the phone with Marlon. His phone rang again, reading the contact name.
"Hey Marlon, Minnie' calling, can I call you back later?"
"Yeah sure."
Marlon hung up as Louis answered the phone, putting it on speaker so he can continue playing his game.
"Hey Minnie, What's up?"
"Me and Vi broke up."
The freckled boys eyes widend as he paused his game.
"What happened?"
"We got into an argument and I told her I was done, and after that I left."
"You left her alone???"
Louis quickly turned off his consle as he put on his shoes, still on the phone with Minnie.
"Yeah? I didn't want to be around her so I left, I don't know why you're freaking out about it."
Louis grabbed his phone and keys as he walked out the front door, he locked it as he ran to his car, quickly getting in and driving off.
"I have to go."
Louis quickly hung up the phone as he sped off to Violet' house. He was the only one who knew about her problem with alcohol and self harm. The only reason he knew is because he saw scars on Violet' wrists in class one time. (That'll probably be the next one shot I write so stay tuned).
SELF HARM WARNING
Violet sat on her couch, razor in hand as she sliced through her skin like paper. Blood began dripping down as she watched. She grabbed the vodka with her bleeding arm and took a drink, placing it down and making another cut. More and more cuts appeared on her arm as soon enough her whole forearm was covered in cuts which were bleeding profusely, her vision was blurred do the tears and her drinking, almost making her cut a vein a few times but she managed to avoid it.
Louis arrived at her house, quickly getting out of his car and sprinting to the front door, rushing to the flower pot which held Violets in them as he lifted it, grabbing the key from under it as he unlocked the front door quickly. Before opening it he took a deep breath, terrified of what he might find. For all he could know she could be dead, she could've killed herself, or she could've been just fine.
He opened the door slowly, he looked over to the couch which Violet was sitting on. From his point of view he only saw some of her back and her head. He slowly walked in and closed the door, getting Violet' attention, though she didn't turn her head to see who it was.
"Violet, It's okay, It's just me."
Louis stated in a soft voice as he approached the girl. He walked beside the couch and looked at Violet, he saw blood dripping down her arm as she had alcohol in the other.
"OH MY GOD VIOLET!!"
He rushed over to her and grabbed her wrist, examining her arm which was covered in cuts.
"Hang on Violet, stay here."
Violet nodded slowly as she wiped the tears away from her face. Louis rushed to the kitchen, grabbing multiple paper towels from the counter as he ran back to Violet. He grabbed her arm quickly, accidently touching a few of the many cuts, she winced as her face scrunched up.
"Sorry Violet."
There was panic in his voice as he tried his hardest to stay calm. He placed the paper towels on her arm as he took her other hand and made her hold onto them.
"Hold these here Vi, I'm gonna go get something to clean it with."
He rushed to the bathroom which was down the hall and opened the medicine cabinet, grabbing something to clean it with and more paper towels. He dashed out of the bathroom and back into the living room, where he went over to Violet as he placed down the bottle of medicine on the coffee table. He gently took her arm and took off the paper towels. Violet looked away from him, she felt ashamed for relapsing in both self harm and her alcohol addiction.
"You're gonna be okay Vi, I promise we'll get you cleaned up."
Louis unscrewed the lid to the medicine as he took it in his hand.
"This is gonna hurt Violet, just a warning."
The blonde nodded her head as she looked down, Louis slowly soaked a paper towel with the medicine as he gently placed in on her arm.
"Ow shit." The girl whimpered as tears began falling down her face again.
He gave her a pitiful look as he continued cleaning her wounds. Luckily her cuts weren't bleeding as bad so there was no need for a hopsital visit. Soon he was finished, he looked up to see tears in Violet' eyes. The two of them stood up slowly, Violet was staring at the floor as Louis was trying to look into her eyes.
"Look at me please."
He grabbed her chin and tried to lift it up so she could meet his eyes but she pushed his hand away.
"Violet please."
He kept trying and she kept pushing his hand away. Eventually she gave up. He lifted her head and looked into her eyes. Her eyes were glossy, filled with tears as her lips quivered. She was on the verge of crying but she tried her hardest to keep it together. His eyes filled with worry as he pulled her into a deep hug, which made her break. Her knees went weak, not being able to stand. Louis slowly lowered them both to the floor. She laid her head on his lap as she was hysterical. He ran his fingers through her hair, whispering quietly to her.
"Shhhh It's okay Violet, Just breathe."
"I can't"
Her words were slurred as she was still drunk. He held her close to him as he whispered soothing words to her.
"I'll always be here Violet, I'm not gonna leave you."
Eventually the blonde calmed down a bit, she was way to exhausted to keep going. She was crying silently and sloppily (I can't think of the word). Louis sat quietly as he stroked the girls hair who was laying in his lap. Violet curled up into a ball, still laying her head on Louis' lap. He leaned over a bit, grabbing a bottle of water that was placed on the coffee table as he unscrewed the lid.
"Here, have a drink Violet."
He helped her sit up, Louis' back was against the couch and Violet' was against his chest, her head resting on his shoulder. He held the bottle up to her mouth as she took a few sips. Louis pulled the bottle away and placed it on the table.
"Why don't we get to bed."
The blonde nodded as Louis picked her up. She rested her head on his shoulder as he carried her to her room. He slowly opened the door and walked over to her bed, pulling the sheets and covers down to the end of the bed and laying her down. He walked over to the other side of the queen sized bed, he took off his jacket as he laid down next to her. Violet moved over so that she was closer to Louis. The teen wrapped his arm around the tired girl as she laid her head on his chest.
"I'm sorry."
She mumbled as she played with his fingers. He looked down at her and gave her a soft smile.
"It's okay, just get some sleep."
"What about Clem."
"I'll tell her what happened, I'm sure she'll understand."
"Don't tell her about the cuts though."
"I won't."
Violet nods as she fights to keep her eyes open, eventually losing the battle as she drifts off into a deep sleep. Louis pulls out his phone to see multiple texts from his group of friends, mostly everyone asking how Violet is. He opens up Clementine' contact.
Clemmy: "How is Violet, Is she okay?"
Belouga: She's not doing well Clem, I'm gonna stay at her house tonight, to make sure she doesn't hurt herself.
Clemmy: What do you mean? Hurt herself?
Belouga: It's not my place to say anything Clemmy, and don't pressure her to say anything. All you need to know is she's in a really bad place right now.
Clemmy: Okay, take good care of her.
Louis: I plan to.
Sorry if this is bad, I've never been drunk before so I don't know what it's like. But uhm, The next one shot will be of Louis finding out about Violet' self harm and alcohol addiction so uh, yay I guess.
