Hello everyone! Thank you for choosing to read "The Walking Dead: Interactive Story"!

This is probably one of the very few Interactive stories on WattPad. So this may be sent to the Wattys Awards for recognization.

Hopefully this will get enough views and votes that WattPad will allow me to specially use a hashtag for all of the books involved, as it WILL get very confusing as it is a collection of stories rather than chapters.

I thought the chapter limit of 200 may or may not be enough for the Interactive Story, so I decided to make it a whole collection.

Now with that all said, here are the rules about the Interactive Story.

Rule #1: DO NOT HARASS ME FOR SLOW UPDATES

Keep in mind that I am a living, functioning, and hard-working HUMAN BEING, and not a Walker. If the pace of the story is too slow for your liking, either put up with it or remove the story from your library. I will NOT under any circumstances be forced to update to please you. I want not only the readers but also myself to enjoy the story. Here's some words of wisdom about writing books:

If the author is not enjoying their own story, then their viewers will not be able to enjoy the story.

The consequence to breaking this rule:
Reported to WattPad for harassment, which can result in severe consequences, including the shut down of your account.

Rule #2: DO NOT COMMENT ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OF EACH CHOICE, NOR SPOIL ANY FUTURE EVENTS TO OTHER READERS

You may think that you're SuperMan or WonderWoman for saving the day before upset readers realize what could happen, but you're just forcing readers to not make the choice they wanted to choose, as well as ruining the entirety of the IS. My decisions on events will always be final, so YOU spoiling any future events will be held responsible for any angry reader harassment that I receive in private messaging.

The consequence to breaking this rule:
Banishment from commenting (also known as muting)

You will also not be allowed to submit any fanart for the story, as well as previously submitted fanart will be removed and replaced by the next Honorable Mention fanart.

(Hush now readers...The submission guidelines are in a separate story. Everything is explained there. However do stay now as the next rule will be crucial.)

**Tip:** Since this is only a book and not a video game, readers have permission to change their option.

Rule #3: DO NOT STEAL ANY SUBMITTED FANART AND CLAIM IT AS YOUR OWN, NOR WHINE OR COMPLAIN WHEN YOUR FANART DIDN'T GET PICKED FOR A CHOICE'S HEADER IMAGE.

I get it, not everyone is artistic. But you stealing from artists since you think you have no art talent IS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR TAKING WHAT IS NOT YOURS.

For the winners of the fanart submissions, my decisions are always final.  Do note that all fanart submitted to me will always have an honorable mention below the winner.

The consequences for breaking this rule is:
Banishment from submitting fanart, as well as a possible lawsuit from the original owner.

**Tip:** To avoid having your fanart plagiarized, copyright infringed, or copied, PUT YOUR USERNAME ON THE ARTWORK.

If you're changing your username, please inform me beforehand in case someone decides to take your old username and use it to their advantage and take your work. It might also be helpful to update your username on the fanart by simply writing below it. (DO NOT ERASE YOUR OLD USERNAME PLEASE!! This is for me to be able to keep track of your submissions. Why?

Rule #4: NO EXCESSIVELY LONG COMMENT CHAINS PLEASE

I get it, you meet people who have similar tastes with you and get really excited. But keep in mind that I ALSO SEE THE COMMENTS. It can get really annoying when there's full-on conversations in the comments, and I'm constantly notified about EVERY COMMENT IN THE CHAIN.

The only exceptions are agreements to comments. Please do not argue with other users' opinions. They have a right to their opinion, so respect that right.

The consequence for breaking this rule is:
First: Warning.
Should chain continue: Deletion of entire chain.
Any complaints about comment chain being deleted, or starting a new one with same users: MUTED.

**Tip:** Just continue in PMs, it's not that hard.

Rule #5: DO NOT COPYRIGHT, PLAGIARIZE, OR COPYRIGHT INFRINGE THIS BOOK

This is my original work and I will be very angry if someone decides to steal this. If updates are taking too long, don't just go ahead and "update for me." It's extremely rude as well as against the law.

I am not afraid to sue. I even have an entire family of lawyers. I may seem that I'm joking, but you'll know I'm telling the truth once we're in court together.

Also know that should I sue, YOU will be held responsible for any delays to the book due to the trial. It is your actions that caused the trial to even start, not mine.
