You just thought it was another one of those extravagant moments that you would share together in your lifetime. However, Elijah had something else planned.

"Y/N - Y/L/N. I have loved you since the day I laid my eyes on you. You are the most inspirational, beautiful, intelligent, and brave woman I've ever met. Would you do me the honors in marrying me?"

You've never cried so hard in your life, and of course you said yes.

jeremy:

you and jeremy were vacationing together for spring break of college. you were at your favorite beach in California, Malibu Beach

"I think I'm gonna become a surfer dude." Jeremy says.

"You should, it'll look hot on you." You wink.

"Marry me, Y/N." Jeremy says randomly.

"What?" You ask suddenly.

You can't help but laugh and then cry, jumping into Jeremy's arms while nodding your head.

stefan:

Stefan knew of your fondness of the books, and he knew the perfect idea for a proposal.

He took you to the exact spot in The Notebook where Allie and Noah rowed the boat into the pond where the white swans were.

You were completely astonished that he took you here.

"Y/N - Y/L/N. I love you, so much. I want to spend the rest of my days with you. I want you to be a part of my forever. Will you marry me?"

You squealed in delight and crushed Stefan in a hug, sealing off the moment with a kiss.

matty:

He did it in the most cliché and adorable way. Matt made a treasure map for you, in which you had to follow the instructions to find out your surprise.

Taking you all around Mystic Falls for three hours straight, and many meetings with all your friends, giving you special, yet strange gifts.

You were curious as to why you received a garter from Damon and Stefan, a blue hair clip from Elena, a set of expensive diamond earrings from Caroline, and even a pair of beautiful white heels from Bonnie.

All leading you to the place where you and Matt met. There he was, standing on one knee with a beautiful ring, smiling.

Of course, you said yes!

Kol asked you right after you made love, need I say more?

kai:

Kai had taken you out to a fancy dinner, on the roof top of a building. There were rose petals and candles, topped with amazing food.

"Check your pocket, Y/N." Kai says, with the wave of his fingers.

You smiled weirdly and felt into your dress pocket, instantly feeling what is was and internally freaking.

"Y/N. I love you. I love you. I love you. Please, marry me?" He asks, taking the ring from you.

You nod and get up to kiss him, then he slips the ring on your finger.

"I'm engaged!" Kai says excitedly.

klaus:

Klaus took you to the top of the Eiffel Tower, because you've always wanted to.

"Darling."

You turn around from admiring the view and see Klaus down on one knee with the most beautiful ring you've ever seen.

"Y/N, darling. I've never loved anyone in my lifetime as much as I have you. I will love you until I take my last breath. I will protect you and cherish you until I am no longer in existence. Please make me the happiest immortal in all of Earth, and marry me?" Klaus asks hopefully.

You only nod, too choked up to say anything. He slips the ring on your finger and you hug, with everyone around you cheering.

damon:

You were at your Mother's grave, as always. She died from cancer two years ago, and you still came and talked to her.

For some odd reason, Damon wanted to bring you by for a visit today.

"Why are we here?" You ask.

"Mrs. Y/L/N. I love your daughter very much, and I'm going to marry her one day. So I thought today, would be the perfect time to ask. I didn't want you to miss it." Damon says, getting down on one knee, pulling a ring from his pocket.

You were already crying, as you say yes quietly.

Damon Salvatore has your Mom's approval, you just know it.

enzo:

"Baby girl, have I ever told you how beautiful you are?" Enzo asks, wrapping his arms around your waist.

"Almost every day, babe." You reply, kissing him on the lips.

"How about, I can kiss you everyday for the rest of our lives?" He asks.

"Of course. I wouldn't want to spend it with anyone else." You reply.

"Good." Enzo says, sneakily slipping a ring on your finger.

"Marry me. Be my forever." Enzo says.

"Of course. I love you, Lenny." You joke, kissing him sweetly.

"Oh how I despise that name."

tyler:

"You can't just keep saving me, I'm sorry." You apologize to Tyler for the billionth time.

"It's okay. I love you, I'll do anything to protect you, Y/N." Tyler replies.

"Well, how many more times do you have to save me before it becomes too much? Or I die." You sigh.

"For the rest of our lives, I want to save you." Tyler says.

"For the rest of our lives?" You ask, weirdly.

Tyler pulls a small velvet box out of his pocket, and gets down on one knee.

"I will save you for the rest of your life, Y/N. Marry me?"

"Yes!"

alaric:

Breakfast in bed? Something strange for your boyfriend. It's usually you doing this for Ric.

"What the hell?" You say, to Ric.

"Something for the woman I love, because you deserve it." He shrugs.

"What's the occasion?" You ask, knowing Ric was lying.

"Just a proposal." He trails off.

"Oh- WHAT." You yell.

Alaric pulls a beautiful ring from his pocket, and leans over to you.

"Please, make me the happiest man on planet Earth." He asks.

"Of course." You say, leaning over your breakfast to kiss him.

silas:

Silas needs to know you're pregnant, he has the right to know.

"Babe, are you alright?" Silas asks, concerned.

"I need to tell you something." You trail off.

"Anything."

"I-I'm pregnant." You whisper, barely audible.com/connorfranta
