your pov
you're such a dick, tyler. oh but you're so fucking hot.
Tyler Lockwood was my number one crush since the fourth grade. However, he's never even noticed me. That's what I do, go unnoticed by people. Especially Tyler Lockwood.
"Move, nerd."
I'm shoved against the bleachers, causing me to trip and fall. I land in some nacho cheese and some sort of clear liquid, ew.
(probably jizz)
I sigh and wipe the dirt off my knees.
"Need some help?"
Oh my god.
"Y-Yeah." I stutter.
Tyler Lockwood offers me his hand, which I gladly take, and helps me up off the ground.
"I've never seen you before." He says.
"People don't usually see me." I reply nervously.
"I'd better go, you're probably busy. I need to clean up anyways." I say quickly.
"I'm actually not busy, currently." Tyler replies, trying to make causal conversation.
"Are you talking to me because you feel bad for me?" I ask.
Nice, Y/N, sound all bitchy towards the love of your life.
"No, No. I saw you got pushed and fell. I figured you'd need some cheering up." He responds.
"Oh. Well thank you, Tyler." I say.
"I don't know your name."
"I'm Y/N." I reply, pushing my glasses back up on the bride of my nose.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N." He says politely.
"I should probably go, and change." I say.
Tyler nods and we both head opposite directions, running into each other, three times.
"Go ahead." Tyler says, allowing me to pass by him.
Holy shit. I just had an entire conversation with Tyler Lockwood and I didn't die!
--
No one knows this side of me, not one person.
My alternate personality.
When I got home and finally finished fangirling over my incident with Tyler, I cleaned myself up and prepared for another one of my wild raves.
I don't necessarily have friends at Mystic Falls High School. However, I have friends in other parts of Virginia.
I put my contacts in, and let my natural wavy hair fall down the back of my shoulders. My leather jacket and skinny jeans complimented my look even more. This is who I wanted to be at Mystic Falls, this is who I want to be for Tyler. Sadly, everyone, including my parents, think I'm just some loser nerd girl.
"Y/N! Let's go!" Halle yells.
"Damn, Hallz, I'm coming." I say, climbing out of the window and down the ladder.
"I've got a different plan for us tonight, instead of a rave." Halle smirks.
"Seriously? What is it?" I ask excitedly.
"A Tyler Lockwood party." Halle smirks.
"What? Are you insane?!" I whisper-yell.
"You always talk about how much you like the guy, and I heard he was having a party and his big mansion house. I'm sorry Y/N, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity." Halle replies.
"I can't risk being seen like this! I most definitely will be recognized!" I exclaim.
"That's the point, sweetie. I want people to know and respect the real you. Plus, you look hella hot tonight. Let's go impress that boy toy, Tyler." Halle says excitedly, shoving me in the car.
--
Halle shoves a cup of probably cheap alcohol in my hands, and drags me to a bonfire where tons of people were. I could already feel the stares and see the points of the fingers along with the whispering between people.
"Y/N. Didn't expect to see you here."
"Not exactly my scene- Tyler."
Holy shit, holy shit.
"I'll leave you too alone." Halle smirks, pushing me into Tyler's arms.
"Sorry about her, she's a little, weird." I say, laughing.
"It's okay. Weird is a good thing." Tyler replies.
Does that mean he likes weird girls? Because I fit into that category perfectly.
"I guess so."
"This party is kind of lame." Tyler says blandly.
"Didn't you throw this party?" I ask, giggling.
"Yeah, but not all my parties are awesome." Tyler shrugs.
For some odd reason, Tyler didn't mention or question your sudden change of appearance like everyone else is doing.
"Why haven't you said anything about my sudden change?" I ask him.
"It's none of my business. You look amazing, by the way." He compliments me, causing me to blush crazily.
"Thank you. You're probably the only one here besides my friend, Halle, who isn't insulting me or questioning me." I respond.
"Tyler? Seriously? Hanging with the loser girl?" A scoff.
"Yeah, I am. And honestly I don't see why the hell you care so much."
He's like my Prince Charming, oh my.
"Because you're better than her, and can do better."
"Go away, Vicki. Y/N is actually amazing, and if you'd take the time to stop being such a bitch and get to know her, I'm sure you'd agree with me." Tyler snaps angrily.
"Whatever." Vicki says, storming off with her posse.
"I'm sorry, about her." Tyler says.
"It's okay, I'm used to it." I reply.
"You shouldn't be, Y/N. You're beautiful." Tyler says.
Lord Jesus send help now.
"You're much different than I'd thought you'd be." I tell Tyler.
"Is that a good or bad thing?" He asks, smiling.
"Most definitely a good thing."
