I woke up to my alarm and smiled as I remembered last night. Kent had had to go home early because he hurt his knee and he didn't trust me enough to let me drive so Bryan ended up driving us home. I never realized that Bryan and Kent were actually fairly close.

*Flashback*

When we get home the house is empty because our parents are working as translators in Mexico. Bryan helps Kent into his room while I turn on Netflix.

About thirty minutes later Bryan comes down stairs and sits down next to me on the couch I thought he had left. "Do you mind if I stay the night here? I don't want to go home." He asks me, showing more emotion on his face than I had ever seen him show. He looked almost scared at the thought of going back to his house.

"Um yeah, sure. There is a guest bedroom to the right of Kent's room." I say and then realized that he could not have gone home if he wanted to because he left his car at school "But how would you have gotten back if you didn't stay the night?" I ask curious, Bryan laughs.

"I live about a block away." He looks at me "Thank you by the way, for saying I can stay the night I mean." He starts to lean forward, his gaze moving from my eyes to my lips and for a spit second I think that he is going to kiss me but he suddenly snaps out of his earlier trancelike state and quickly gets up to go upstairs. But then he leaned down and kissed my cheek. "Night." I heard him mumble before he went up into the guest room.

*End flashback*

Switch to Bryan's P.O.V

I woke up in an unfamiliar room, suddenly everything from last night came flooding back and I groaned. Why did I have to kiss her? It's not like I like her or anything, or do I? No, it must have been just to seduce her so she will let me cheat on my homework. I just don't remember ever planning on kissing her because I was tired, you see? A perfectly logical explanation for my actions last night, I let out the breath I had been holding.

I get up and walk downstairs. Ashley is already there eating cereal and looking at her phone, I guess Kent is still sleeping. As I sit down at the table across from her her head snaps up from her phone.

"Uh d-do you want some cereal?" She asks, stuttering slightly, no doubt remembering the kiss.

"No I'm not hungry." I lied, gauging her reaction, she opened her mouth to argue but just then Kent stumbled into the dining room with bags under his eyes and his hair going every direction.

"Morning Ash, I think I'm going to skip school-" He trailed off when he noticed me. "What are you doing here? I don't remember saying that you could stay the night, where did you sleep?" He added suspiciously.

"In the guest bedroom, duh." Ash was obviously annoyed by her brother's almost accusation. "Last night, after you fell asleep, he asked me if he could spend the night here because he didn't feel like walking home." She lied smoothly.

"Oh, alright then." Kent says "If you want to go to school, we might as well leave now" Kent said before going upstairs to fix his hair.

Ash's P.O.V

"I don't know about you, but I'm going, there is no way I am missing the second day of school." I said and quickly grabbed the car keys and walked out the door. While I pretend I'm going for my grades, I really just need to talk to Bella and Brittney. Before I could sit down in the driver's seat however, I felt a hand grab my wrist.

"Last night, Kent didn't trust your driving skills enough to let you drive, there is no way I am letting you drive us today." Bryan said with a smirk when I looked back and glared at him.

"Fine." I grumbled, still glaring as I went around the car and plop down in the passenger seat. After Kent got into the back we started driving to school. Once we arrived at school after a quiet ride, Bella and Brittney ran over as soon as they saw my car, but they froze as Bryan stepped out of the driver's seat.

"I'll let you two take it from here." He said like we were doing everything on a schedule that he made. As he walked away he looked over his shoulder at me and winked. "See you in tutoring." The second he is out of earshot, Bella and Brittney turned to me.

"Spill." they said in unison.
