I was frozen. I couldn't think straight let alone move. What on earth was HE doing here of all places. Bryan must have noticed the change in my expression because he shot me a worried look and after telling the man something I didn't hear he quickly dragged me back into his room.

"What's the matter Ash are you alright?" He asked crouching in front of me as I fell into his desk chair.

"Yeah. Yeah I'm fine." I lied. He saw right through me, of course.

"Don't lie to me Ash I know somethings up. You can tell me anything."

"Anything?" I asked still unsure.

"Anything."

I sighed, this was going to be hard.

"About a week ago Britney and Bella forced me to go to the mall. After shopping for a while we were heading to the food court when two men blocked our path. One of them grabbed me and started towards an alleyway but Britney shouted causing people to see what was happening causing the men to run." I took a deep breath. "One of the men was your dad."

Bryan released a breath slowly sinking to the floor.

"No it can't be. I know he's not a great person but he wouldn't....I don't know what to say."

"I know it's not easy but it's the truth, you deserve to know." I sat next to him on the floor and hugged him gently.

Just then the door opened.

"Oh dear."

I looked up to see a woman in her early forties at the door.

"I'm sorry I heard voices so I was checking to see if Bryan wanted anything to eat. I didn't realize we had a guest."

Bryan stood up taking me up with him. "Mom, this is my friend Ash. Ash met my mother."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. King." I said extending my hand to shake.

She ignored my hand and hugged me. "It's lovely to meet a friend of Bryan's. He rarely lets anyone in here, you know."

"Mom, please." Bryan groaned.

"I'm just saying. Anyhoo I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing." She said smiling before leaving, shutting the door behind her.

I just want to say that I'm really sorry. As you can tell I am a major procrastinator so I won't be able to grantee regular updates. But I will try my best and I promise I will not abandon this story.
