I woke up to Bryan's worried face above me.

"Thank god." Bryan said with a sigh as I fully opened my eyes. I realized I was laying on the couch in the living room but I had no recollection of laying down.

"What happened?" I asked, confused.

"You fainted." Bryan said simply. I gave him an annoyed look.

"No shit sherlock."

"I um.... I was climbing through the window to come in because the door was locked and I saw you in the doorway. You were about to scream so I ran and covered your mouth. I was trying to soothe you and let you know it was me but then I realized you had fainted. I carried you to the couch and have been waiting for you to wake up. I am really sorry, I thought everyone was asleep and was just going to sleep on the couch."

I glared up at him. "Why were you going to stay here anyways? Couldn't you just go home?" I asked.

Bryan lowered his head. "My parents have been arguing a lot lately, I think they are going to get a divorce. Last night, they were both screaming at eachother and my dad started throwing things. I took my little sister and took her to her friends house before coming here."

I was shocked. "I am so sorry, Bryan. If there is anything Kent and I can do, I would be happy to help."

"It's alright. I am pretty sure that my parents will get a divorce, but there isn't really anything anyone can do. We can just hope that my sister and I will be able to stay with my mom. I never got along well with my father, so he will definitely not want me but my sister is the one he cares about the most. I'm worried he will disappear and take her with him."

I did the only thing I could think of, I hugged him tightly, kissing his cheek.

"It's going to be alright."
