22 | Club TRIC

2004Tree Hill, North Carolina

Nathan and Brianna Scott were walking through the school hallway and Nathan picked up a poster that Peyton made to promote her 'all-ages' night at TRIC. Brianna was so proud of her for pursuing her passion. She was hoping it would be a good opening night for her.

"What are these auditions?" Nathan asked.

"Oh, Peyton is having an all-ages night at Karen's club. She's looking for bands or something," Brianna said.

"So when do you and Haley go on?" Nathan asked and Brianna laughed as she shook her head.

"I know how to play the piano, but you know the theater is more my speed. We have auditions for the Spring Play soon," Brianna said as she smiled. One of the reasons Brianna loved doing theater at school was because it didn't conflict with basketball season, so she could cheer and participate in the plays.

"Really? I never had a reason to pay attention to the school plays before, but now I do, what are you guys doing this year?" Nathan asked.

"The Tragedy of Macbeth, it's one of my favorite plays, and I'm going to audition for Lady Macbeth," Brianna said and Nathan smiled.

"Is that why you were writing a mock play about killing me?" Nathan asked and Brianna laughed.

"I have to get into character somehow," She teased. The two of them laughed and Nathan gently squeezed her hip since he had his hand around her torso.

"Nathan," Whitey's voice rang. The couple looked up and Brianna smiled at Whitey. "Letter came for you through my office," He said.

"What is it?" Nathan asked as he took it from his coach's hand.

"How the hell should I know!? Do I look like the damn postmaster general?" Whitey snapped before walking away. Nathan and Brianna shared a look of confusion. They had no idea why Whitey snapped at Nathan like that.

Brianna hoped he was okay.

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

"High Flyers is like this All-Star basketball boot camp, and this guy," Nathan trailed off as he pointed to the guy's name on the letter. He was showing Brianna the letter Whitey gave him. "Milt West, he scouts the best players in the country and invites them down to Florida so they can work on their skills," Nathan said.

"And they invited you? Nathan, that's amazing. I'm really happy for you. You deserve this, you've worked so hard," Brianna whispered back to him. They were in the middle of class. Nathan smiled at his wife and Brianna returned the smile. Then she saw Brooke and Peyton whispering to each other on her other side and she turned to them. "So, what are we whispering about over here?" She asked.

"How it's nearly impossible for my life to get any worse. My love life is non-existent, our parents are having a yard sale to sell everything we own and I had to beg them to let me keep my car so Beck and I have a way to get to school since Steph and Daniel both work," Brooke said.

"Okay, Brookie, we may not be rich anymore, but you are still Brooke freaking Davis, the most popular and least studious girl in school," Brianna said and Peyton laughed.

"Maybe so, but being poor and horny is no way to go through life. How am I supposed to have fun?" Brooke asked. Brianna shook her head while Peyton quietly laughed.

"Boys won't care about the poor part, just as long as you tell them about the horny part," Peyton said and Brianna shrugged.

"To top it all off, if my parents go broke, I might actually have to study like Brianna to get into college," Brooke said. Brianna let out a fake gasp.

"Oh! The horror!" She whispered. Peyton laughed and the girls high-fived across Brooke. Brooke rolled her eyes and slapped their hands away from her.

"I know! How the mighty have fallen... I think I need a little recess."

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

"Hey, I wanted to tell you, I figured this summer out. Steph and Danny said I can stay with them until you get back. We'll save a ton of money," Brianna said to Nathan. After school, once they got home, they decided to go for a walk to Brianna's old house to check out the yard sale her parents were making them do. After finding out about High Flyers, and her parents' financial predicament, Brianna asked her sister and brother-in-law if she could join the move-in train but just for the summer. She offered to pay them rent since the arrangement was just for three months, but Daniel refused to take any money from her. He wanted her to be able to save any money she got while Nathan was gone.

"That's good," Nathan said.

"And then I'll pick up some extra shifts at the cafe. It'll be the summer, people will be home from school, and it's not like I'll be doing much of anything else," Brianna said and Nathan frowned.

"Brianna, you work enough already," Nathan said.

"Hey, you are going to that camp, even if I have to sell a kidney. It's only three months," Brianna said as she looped her arm through his. "I just wish I could go to Florida with you," She said. Then she stopped when she recognized her front lawn, now with stuff everything that the Davis siblings had to sell. "Brooke was not kidding about this yard sale," She said.

"Yard sale?" Nathan asked.

"Yeah, Brooke said that our parents are making her and Beck sell the majority of their things and whatever I didn't take with me when I moved out. She said she had to beg to keep the car. I know Beck is going to stay with Stephanie. Brooke might stay with Peyton, not sure," Brianna said.

"Hey!" Brianna heard Brooke snapped. "Be careful with that," She snapped. Brianna laughed as Brooke continued to walk off. She didn't notice that Beckham was approaching.

"Hey... I remember you... you used to live here, right? Except, you don't have to sell anything," Beckham said. Brianna turned around when she heard her brother's voice and she laughed.

"Maybe you should've married Haley before we went broke," Brianna teased. Beckham rolled his eyes but he was still smiling, and he pulled his sister in for a hug. "Are you going to be okay?" She asked.

"Yeah. Steph and Daniel got me covered. What brings you by?" Beckham asked.

"Nate and I were just walking, and I made a detour here. It's really happening, huh? We're losing the house?" Brianna asked and Beckham nodded.

"Not many happy memories here anyway," He said and Brianna nodded.

"Yeah, but there were some," She said. Beckham sighed and then he turned to Nathan.

"Hey, Nate, what's up?" Beckham greeted him. Nathan smiled and Brianna smiled at both of them.

"I'm trying to convince him to go to High Flyers," Brianna said. Beckham's eyes widened.

"Dude, you got into High Flyers? That's awesome," Beckham said. Brianna smiled as they did the typical guy greeting handshake. When they started talking about basketball, Brianna walked away to find Brooke.

"Hey, Brookie," Brianna said when she approached her.

"Hey," Brooke said.

"Don't worry, I won't buy anything," Brianna said and Brooke shook her head.

"It's okay. We sold my pride around 8:30," Brooke said and they both laughed. "Besides, I'd rather see my sister wearing my clothes than any of these fifty-year-old wannabes, at least that way I can steal them back from you and still have the money from selling them. So I'll give you the twin sister discount," Brooke said and winked. Brianna smiled.

"Well, thanks. I mean, I used to raid your closet for free anyway, so how is this any different?" Brianna asked. Brooke laughed and then walked off to deal with more people walking around. Haley approached Brianna when Brooke walked away. "Hey, Hales," Brianna greeted.

"Hey... Brooke said she'll give you a discount?" Haley asked.

"Well, since we're related, she'll probably give me anything for free, but she'll give you a discount. See anything you like?" Brianna asked.

"Yeah, a lot. Brooke has good style. Both of you... You know what, all of you Davis' do," Haley said and Brianna laughed and shrugged her shoulders.

"Brooke and Stephanie were big into fashion, so they never let me, Amber, or Beckham look a mess before leaving the house, I just adapted," Brianna said and Haley smiled.

"Hey, Peyton told me to ask if you wanted to help us run auditions for the all-ages night, she still hasn't booked a musical act... and we know you write plays and musicals," Haley said. Brianna flushed. She did want to write her own play and musical one day, but her dream was to one day be on Broadway. She didn't want to be a Hollywood actor, she wanted to be a theater actor.

"Yeah, I would love to help," Brianna said.

"Sweet. See you later."

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

Peyton had her laptop in front of her. She was seated between Brianna and Haley for the auditions. She had the list of names for people who were coming to audition. Right now they were listening to a girl who wasn't a great singer. Brianna thought she was very pitchy.

"Why don't we justice all it, 'Club Suck," Peyton whispered to her friend. When the girl stopped singing, Peyton turned to her. "Hey, thank you, that was uh...-" Brianna cut in.

"...-Really something," She said.

"Great. Um, we'll let you know," Haley said, and then the girl walked off the stage. She looked upset and Brianna knew it was because that girl knew they weren't going to call her back.

"That was the last of them," Peyton said.

"Well... we can go with the balding wedding band or the ballad guy," Haley said. Peyton had a tight smile on her face as she nodded.

"Great, so club no-name has no acts," Peyton said, and then her laptop pinged and she looked at Haley. "Beckham just sent me an MP3," She said. Haley looked confused and then Peyton pressed play and Haley's eyes widened. She reached over and quickly tried to shut the laptop, but Peyton stopped her.

"That's just a virus! You don't wanna...-" Peyton cut Haley off.

"...-Stop! Why did we even bother having auditions? Haley, this music is amazing. Bree knows how to play musical instruments, and she can sing. The girl wants to write and star in musicals and plays. If you two team up, we have an act," Peyton said. Haley looked at Brianna whose face started flushing when Peyton started bragging about her. Then the side door opened, and a guy walked in holding a crate of CDs.

"Who's that?" Brianna asked.

"Oh, it's the rude record store guy. Um, can you just put the CDs by the side of the stage, thank you," Peyton said as Haley's song continued to play. "How many other songs have you written, Haley?" She asked.

"I don't know, a few," Haley said.

"Bree, have you written any songs?" Peyton asked.

"No... I don't really write pop culture songs, I'm working on writing a musical after I finish drafting this play... completely different," Brianna said and Peyton laughed.

"Well, Haley can still teach you her songs and you can do the instrumental piece. Will you guys open, please?" Peyton asked. Brianna looked at Haley. They were Haley's songs, so it was her decision.

"I would love to do it with you. I have major stage fright, but having you up there might make things better," Haley said and Brianna frowned.

"Or I might make it worse," Brianna said and Haley laughed. She was about to respond, but then the girls heard the guitar strumming. When they looked up, the guy that Peyton said was from the record store, Chris Keller, had a guitar in his hands. He was sitting on the stool on stage and he started playing a song and singing. Brianna was impressed, he was really good. Haley let out a breath of relief, and Brianna turned to Peyton with a smile.

"I think you just found your act," Haley said and Brianna nodded in agreement.

Peyton didn't look pleased.

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

"Hey... this is Peyton and Haley... I'm Brianna, and you're great," Brianna said to Chris Keller once he was done playing his song. He walked off the stage and approached the girls.

"Yeah, I know. When do I play?" He asked. Brianna raised an eyebrow as she crossed her arms over her chest. She didn't like the attitude.

"Um, well... 7:30...-" Peyton cut Haley off.

"...-You're okay, but we had a lot of really good people show up today. So, we'll call you," Peyton said. Brianna raised an eyebrow. She understands Peyton doesn't like the guy, he has an insane ego, but she didn't need to lie. They saw no talent together.

Peyton knows that.

"Whatever. Not emo enough for you?" Chris asked and Peyton frowned. Then he looked at Haley. "Hey, I heard your song... it's not bad. The A's kinda crap, but... You pulled it off," He said and then he walked away. Brianna looked at Peyton.

"Okay, are you out of your mind? He's clearly the best," Brianna said.

"She's right," Haley backed her up.

"Yeah, he's good... but he's a jerk! And he's like... arrogant and self-righteous," Peyton said.

"Peyton, you're not dating the guy. Just put the club first," Brianna said.

"I am! And I don't need him, Brianna. I have you and Haley. You agreed you'd do it with her. Just think about it, okay?"

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

When Brianna got back to her apartment, she saw Nathan outside on the balcony. She smiled to herself before joining him outside. She put her hand down on the railing, and Nathan looked down at her hand before looking up at his wife and smiling. "How were the auditions?" He asked.

"Horrible, but Haley is going to kill Beckham because he sent Peyton some of her songs," Brianna said and Nathan laughed.

"Haley sings?" He asked and Brianna nodded.

"Yeah, and she's good," Brianna said.

"So does that mean Haley is going to perform?" He asked and Brianna nodded.

"Yeah, and she asked me to do instrumental with her, which I guess isn't so bad," Brianna said and Nathan smiled.

"So you're both getting up there, that's great!" Nathan said and Brianna smiled.

"Yeah, yeah. Anyways, when do you get back from camp in the Fall?" Brianna asked.

"Yeah, about camp... I didn't get in," Nathan lied. He did get in, but he didn't want to spend three months away from Brianna. He never thought he would love anything or anyone more than he loved basketball, but then Brianna came along and changed everything.

"What do you mean? They said it was a sure thing," Brianna said. She was shocked. There was no way Nathan didn't get into that camp. He's one of the best basketball players she's seen.

"Yeah, I know, but... it turns out they made a mistake and there's some other kid they have to give the spot to," Nathan said. Brianna could tell he was lying, but she wasn't going to push him on it. She just couldn't believe Nathan was giving up High Flyers.

"I'm sorry," Brianna said as she laid her head down on Nathan's bicep and gently rubbed his back with her hand.

"Yeah, me too. But hey, since I can't go to this camp, this means that you don't have to work as much, and you can focus on writing," Nathan said. Brianna moved her hand and leaned back against the rail so she was facing Nathan. "Tell me you will," He said and Brianna nodded.

"Okay, I'll try."

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

"Look at this; one over-ripe cantaloupe, two number three pencils... What kind of Writer is this?" Peyton asked Brianna and Haley at school the next day. They were walking through the hallway and Peyton had gone to the record store to see Chris before school, and he agreed to perform tonight, and he gave Peyton a Writer.

A Writer is a list of artists' demands that they give a venue before when they perform there. It's supposed to be of things they want/need before their performance or anything they might need during their performance. When Peyton let them read over the Writer, they thought it was a little ridiculous. As they walked, Brianna saw her sister Brooke sitting at a table and she raised an eyebrow.

"Change for the needy?" Brooke asked as she shook a jar full of change in front of them.

"Brooke, I had no idea you were so charitable. What's the cause?" Haley asked.

"Herself," Brianna mumbled. Peyton laughed because they knew what Brooke was doing.

"Just... needy people," Brooke said. She watched someone walk past and put some money in the jar. "God bless you," She said and Brianna shook her head.

"Brooke, I recognize the photo. It's from an ad for cramp medicine," Haley said as she pointed to the picture Brooke had on the table to serve as her 'charity' cause.

"Wow! Homeless and PMSing, poor girl," Brooke said.

"Brooke," Peyton, Haley, and Brianna said together.

"Alright! The money is for me. I'm the needy one, as in I need some things for your club opening," Brooke said. The girls exchanged a look with each other.

"Do you realize how wrong this is?" Brianna asked.

"Sort of, but... you know, what am I supposed to do for money?" Brooke asked.

"Try getting a job," Peyton said.

"Right, doing what?" Brooke asked as she laughed. Brianna was thinking that it wasn't that hard to get a job. Brianna worked at the cafe, and Beckham worked at Foot Locker in the mall.

"Anything, a number of things. What are your skills?" Haley asked.

"I don't know. I'm good with guys, dates, dating," Brooke said.

"And?" Haley asked.

"Sex, but...-" Brianna cut her off.

"...-I don't think you want to go into prostitution," Brianna said. Brooke shrugged as she laughed. Someone else walked past the jar and put money in it. Brooke smiled at them. Peyton playfully hit her, while Brianna shook her head.

"Don't worry, Brooke. We'll take you shopping on a budget."

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

Brianna caught up to her husband in the hallway and Nathan wrapped his arm around her shoulders and kissed the top of her head. "Hi," She said as she smiled. The couple approached Lucas, who was walking down the hallway on the other side toward them. He smiled when he saw them.

"Hey, ready for your big debut, rock star?" Lucas asked. Brianna shook her head as she laughed.

"It's really Haley's debut, I'm just doing the music," Brianna said as she smiled.

"Did you already have auditions for Macbeth yet?" Lucas asked and Brianna shook her head.

"They're tomorrow," Brianna said.

"She's ready. I've been running lines with her," Nathan said as he smiled at her. "Even though she was the one who told me there was such thing as over-preparation," Nathan said.

"Yeah, for a math midterm. This is like... avoiding public humiliation. Lady Macbeth is a vital role," Brianna said and Lucas smiled.

"Bree, you've been in school plays for years. You're going to be fine. You'll be great," Lucas said. Brianna smiled as she looked at her husband and best friend. She did love being on the stage. She loved being able to get lost in a character, especially a character that's so opposite from how she is, that's why she wanted to try out for Lady Macbeth, she wanted to push herself to go for a role that wouldn't be as easy.

"Thanks, guys."

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

"Does this look overly ripe to you?" Peyton asked Brianna and Brooke while they were at the grocery store. They were looking at fruit because of Chris Keller's Writer that he gave Peyton. Then when they left the grocery store, they were going to take Brooke clothes shopping, on a budget.

"Sorry, that's not my area of expertise," Brooke said.

"So, Brooke, what's going on with you and Felix now?" Brianna asked as Peyton put down the cantaloupe she was holding and picked up another one to inspect. Brooke groaned as she shook her head.

"I don't know. I mean, the whole point of friends with benefits is that there's no strings attached, right?" Brooke asked.

"Right," Peyton and Brianna said.

"Well, lately he's been getting really stringy on me," Brooke said.

"Ah," Brianna said as they stopped in front of the bananas.

"And why are we looking for... overly ripe fruit?" Brooke asked as she looked at the bananas with a confused look on her face. Peyton rolled her eyes and held up the paper that was Chris Keller's Writer.

"Chris' Writer. Basically, I have to give him everything on this list or he won't perform," Peyton said.

"Wait a second... He makes a list and you have to do everything on it to get what you want?" Brooke asked. The girls nodded.

"Basically," Brianna said. When Brooke smirked, Brianna knew she was thinking about something. She was coming up with an idea for her relationship with Felix.

"Interesting."

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

Brianna and Brooke had moved onto clothes shopping and Haley met them at the store. Peyton went to finalize the things she needed for Chris' Writer. "But I want it so bad," Brooke said as she looked at a purse she wanted that was behind a glass case.

"No, it's not in the budget, Brooke," Brianna said as she pulled her sister away from the case. "Besides, if you get the purse, then you can't afford an outfit for the opening," She said.

"Screw the opening. I'll stay at home with the purse," Brooke said. Brianna laughed and shook her head. Brooke picked up a pair of gold shoes. Haley and Brianna exchanged looks, knowing this wasn't going to go well since Brooke was so used to being able to get whatever she wanted whenever she wanted it.

"Brooke, are you okay?" Haley asked when she noticed Brooke was stumbling a little as she walked and she looked out of it.

"Yeah... I just feel a little lightheaded," Brooke said.

"Why? Are you okay?" Brianna asked.

"I sold... some stuff," Brooke said.

"What stuff?" Haley asked.

"Some... blood," Brooke said.

"Blood!?" Brianna exclaimed as she gently grabbed Brooke's arm and guided her to stop walking. "You sold blood? Brooke, do you really think that's a good idea? You don't look so good. You look kinda pasty," Brianna said.

"I'm discount shopping! I'm going to have to get used to looking like crap, and besides, I needed some extra money for the dress," Brooke said.

"Which is only $36," Haley said.

"Shoes," Brooke said as she pointed to them.

"$18," Brianna said.

"Eyeliner to go with the shoes," Brooke said.

"$7.50, which is what? $61.50 with tax. I mean, you'll have plenty left over for...-" Brooke cut her sister off with an excited smile.

"...-Alcohol! We'll stop by the liquor store on the way home," Brooke said.

"I really don't think you should be drinking after you just gave blood," Haley said.

"No! The woman told me to rehydrate myself," Brooke said and Brianna laughed.

"With water, Brooke. Alcohol will just dehydrate you further," Brianna said. Brooke shrugged while shaking her head.

"Well, if I'm going to wear these shoes... I'm gonna need a drink or two," She said. Haley and Brianna laughed while Brooke went to pick out her outfit. Brianna thought it was cute. She knew Brooke was disappointed that it wasn't where she was used to shopping, but she was glad her sister could find something she liked enough to buy.

Brianna was ready to get the night over with.

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

[Bree's outfit for TRIC]

"Okay, my thighs are itching and not so much in a good way. I think I'm allergic to polyester," Brooke said when she found Brianna inside TRIC. Brooke linked her arm with her sister's and sighed. "But it's fine. I've had a few drinks," She said as she smiled.

"I should have a few drinks. Do you see all of these people?" Brianna asked.

"Bree! You do theater all the time," Brooke said.

"I know, and that's my craft, but the music was usually something I kept to myself, I've never played in front of anyone before," Brianna said and Brooke smiled.

"You're going to be fine," Brooke said. Brianna smiled at her sister and when she saw Haley and Peyton talking, she excused herself from Brooke and walked over to them. As she approached, she heard Haley.

"I can't do it," Haley said.

"What?" Peyton asked.

"I can't do it," Haley said.

"Do what?" Peyton asked.

"Play," Haley said and Peyton's eyes widened, but Brianna wasn't shocked. Haley did tell Peyton she has horrible stage fright and Peyton basically pressured her into doing it. "I have to back out," She said and Brianna frowned.

"And you're telling us this now!?" Peyton asked.

"I'm sorry, I really am. I told you this might happen!" Haley exclaimed.

"Haley, it's okay. You shouldn't do something if you're not comfortable with it," Brianna said. Haley gave her a grateful smile.

"Haley, you can't do this, okay? Your name is already on the poster, there are people here expecting to see you play," Peyton said.

"Well, so what? I mean, who's going to know the difference, right? You've already got two acts and a DJ, right?" Haley asked. Peyton frowned as she looked at her friend.

"I'll figure it out," Peyton said.

"Okay, I'm sorry," Haley said.

"It's okay... but you're going to have to get on that floor sometime," Peyton said and Haley frowned before walking away. Brianna sighed as she watched her friend leave, and Peyton went back to the DJ stand.

This wasn't good.

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

"Alright. Here we go now." Chris Keller said from on the stage. He was seated on a stool, guitar in his hand and he was adjusting the microphone and when he saw that no one was paying attention, he stopped and looked around while shaking his head. "You guys aren't ready for this." He said, shaking his head, unplugging his guitar, and leaving the stage.

"What?" Peyton Sawyer exclaimed as he walked off of the stage, and then Haley walked up to Chris and shook her head.

"Hey, wait a second. What about Peyton?" She asked him.

"Tough break! At least it beat being screwed over by a friend, right?" He said and walked away from her. Haley sighed and felt even more horrible about the decision she made. And Peyton caught Chris when he got off the stage.

"Hey! What are you doing?" She snapped.

"Not playing," Chris said.

"Why!?" Peyton snapped.

"Because playing to a bunch of milrats who hate anything they can't Pogo to ain't what Chris Keller is about." He said, and Peyton rolled her eyes when he referred to himself in the third person.

"Really? That would've been really nice for you to tell me before I put you up on stage! Also, it would've been nice to know you talk about yourself in the third person." Peyton snapped.

"Okay, I get it. Curly's pissed but look at it this way. If I hadn't done what I did. . would she be up there right now?" Chris asked pointing to the stage. Peyton turned around to see what he was talking about, and she noticed that Haley was standing at the microphone while Brianna was sitting at the piano. Haley took a deep breath.

"Don't think, just sing," Haley whispered, mainly to herself as Brianna began to play the piano. Brianna provided some backup vocals, but singing wasn't her strong suit, she mainly focused on the piano, and she smiled to herself. She could tell that Haley was getting more comfortable singing as the song went on. Brianna loved Haley's songs, and it was easy for her to pick up on the piano from what Haley taught her.

"So... you're saying you went through all of this just to get Haley up there to play?" Peyton said to him, and Chris nodded his head.

"Who knows? Chris Keller ain't telling." He said with a shrug and then he walked away.

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

After the performance, Brianna and Haley were sitting with Beckham and Nathan. They were telling them how well they did and Brianna was singing Haley's praises with how well she sang. Brianna let Haley take most of the praise because this was more of Haley's dream than it was hers.

"Good job," A random man said to them.

"Thank you," They responded.

"You were great," A woman said in passing. "We loved you," She continued. Haley smiled. When she walked away, Chris approached the four of them.

"Predictable sappy ballad. How's it feel?" He asked.

"Great... until you just dissed me," Haley said.

"No, look... you've got a good sound. Watching both of you tonight, I can definitely see the three of us doing something together," Chris said. Haley smiled while Brianna shook her head.

"Thanks, but no thanks, I'm more into theater," Brianna said.

"Well, that's too bad. Haley?" Chris asked as he turned to her.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah, I never joke about music. Here's my number," He said as he handed her a slip of paper. "I have some studio time coming up. You should come by," He said.

"Oh wow... okay," Haley said. She turned to Beckham with a wide smile on her face and he smiled too as he kissed her cheek.

"Oh, I just remembered... THUD magazine wanted us to do an interview with them, Hales," Brianna said. Haley turned to Brianna and her eyes widened as it had slipped her mind too.

"Oh, yeah," She said. Brianna turned to Nathan.

"It might take a while," She said and Nathan shook his head.

"It's cool," He said.

"Okay," Brianna said.

"Bree, this is yours and Haley's night. Go enjoy it, and I'll see you at home," Nathan said.

"Are you sure?" Brianna asked.

"Yeah, I have to work rarely tomorrow anyway," He said. Brianna nodded before squeezing his hands.

"Okay, I love you," She said. The two shared a quick kiss. Haley and Beckham did the same, and then the girls looped their arms through each other and walked away to do their interview. Chris turned to Beckham and Nathan.

"Do you have any idea how many guys in the room wanna nail your wife and girlfriend right now?"

⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎

"So, hell of a night, huh?" Peyton asked Haley and Brianna. It was about 2:30 am and they were wrapping up. Brianna knew the interview would be a while, but she didn't expect it to go that late.

"Yes, I'm still shaking," Haley said and Peyton laughed. "Thank you so much for everything, and I'm really sorry about earlier," Haley said.

"No... Hales, you totally redeemed yourself after indie-boy flaked on me," Peyton said.

"Ha! You guys wanna get out of here?" Brianna asked.

"Yes, but I have to clear some stragglers," Peyton said. When they walked into the room where the door was labeled 'private,' there were a bunch of people inside, and they were doing drugs.

Cocaine to be exact.

When the girls entered, the people looked up and started to panic, but then Rick looked at Peyton. "Hey! Relax, they're cool. In fact, Peyton and I did a couple of lines the other night. Isn't that right, Peyton?" He asked. Brianna and Haley's eyes widened as they looked at Peyton.

"When the hell did you do coke?!"
