size

the species of the pod are simply called cats for simplicity.

they vary in size through levels.

level one - extremely tiny
level two - tiny
level three - small
level four - medium
level five - slightly large

levels will be added as they are discovered.
more are not added because no cat has made it past that point yet.

a cat will grow to the next biggest size every 6 moons if they eat every moon. if they do not eat, it will set their growing back by one moon. inactivity can delay growth.

appearance

appearances look like cats and fish combined. for example:

- a ginger sleek-furred cat with bright yellow scales and pale blue stripes, pale yellow see-through fins, and dark brown eyes.

they're modelled after tropical fish, so get creative.

reproduction

these cats live in a vast ocean. they eat algae and reproduce through breeding. eggs are given birth to by the female. many eggs don't survive till hatching because other cats will try to eat them.

eating an egg will speed up the process of growing by one moon.
