~Miriam's POV~

I waited by my locker at the start of the school day, bored as ever. My other friends had decided to leave for class, so I was entirely alone, searching through my locker in hopes of finding my math revision book. But as I closed my locker, I caught a glimpse of a new person that had walked through the school's entrance. I turned around, and my eyes instantly lit up as I realised who the person was. It was Y/n L/n, or S/n as they were more commonly called, one of the ten most popular artists in Canada. And it seemed like they were going to start attending this school! I blushed immensely as they walked past me, but soon stopped staring as a crowd of fans began to follow her. Today's definitely gonna be eventful...

It was lunchtime already... I headed outside the school and sat on the stairs leading to the school's entrance, but I realised that S/n was here too. Maybe I can build up the courage to talk to them...

~Y/n's POV~

Finally, I'd escaped the mass of fans at this school. I decided to sit outside the school building on a concrete step, but before I could get even a small moment of peace, someone else arrived, sitting on the other side of the step. She was... beautiful. Her green clothing perfectly complemented her curly, strawberry blonde/red hair, and her eyes glistened amazingly. Most of the time I didn't believe in 'love at first sight', but now I feel like I'm rethinking everything...

I looked away for a second, but suddenly I felt a figure sit next to me. To my surprise it was, in fact, the girl I had just been crushing over, but I tried to act casual as I faced her.

"Oh, hello! Are you here for a picture, or...?" I questioned.

She smiled, and shook her head, making me blush.

"I'm just here to ask..." she stammered, "can I, er... get to know you better or something?" There was a tint of red evident on her face.

I smiled.

"Of course!"

~Miriam's POV~

"Can I, er... get to know you better or something?" I managed to stutter out, my face getting warmer with each word. Oh god, I sounded stupid! Why would I say that? I might have just embarrassed myself in-front of my celebrity crush...

I started zoning out, but soon my mind was grounded when I heard them reply.

"Of course!" They spoke, smiling.

It also seemed like... they were blushing a bit as well? Or is it just my imagination?

Either way, this school year was going to get a lot more interesting from now on...
