Chapter Thirty Six
Hours later, I'm still sat in a bowed position, looking dully at the floor. I don't understand what's happening, and I feel strangely lost. An uneasy feeling has settled at the base of my stomach, and I feel as if something very bad is about to happen. I rack my brain for ideas, but nothing stays firmly nothing.
If the electricity that randomly shocks me doesn't kill me, then my starvation will. It has never bothered me before, but I feel useless and weak, shut up in a cage, in the middle of space, and Anakin not having a clue where I am. I can't do anything.
The only thing I can come up with is to steal back my lightsabers with the force when I next get the chance. However, Ren would still have the controls of the shock collar and cuffs. I would have to have control of the controls first, unless I slashed the control panel with by blade, and be stuck with it all on unless I cut through them.
It's my only chance to escape.

Again, Ren entered the prison cell. Jordan hovered outside, looking bored. This is my chance.
Using the force to grab my green lightsaber, I quickly grab it and slash open my handcuffs. In the same strike, I damage the control panel beyond repair. If the look on her face is anything to go by, I'm doing well.
But, they fight back. I duck Jordan's flying fist, and dart past him, light on my feet, and then the unexpected happens. He slides down a price of amour on his arm, revealing a control pad identical to what Ren's was. I freeze, eyes wide. I can't believe I was so stupid. Of course they would have back up.
His finger taps the screen carelessly, and I close my eyes in pain, letting out a regretful moan. As it slowly but painfully increases voltage, my lightsaber extinguishes, and drops from my hand. I fall immediately to my knees, and then collapse to the floor. Once again, everything goes black.

When I wake up, I have new cuffs on. - And I've also been chained to the wall. This is not looking good at all. Actually, this is starting to look annoyingly impossible. I'd have thought, after all this time, at least some form of rescue would have arrived. But no, I'm alone, and weak. Nearly starved to death in fact.
I sit up and run my hands down the chain, testing it. Even for a metal chain, it's surprisingly light, and poorly made, as if it were done in a hurry. But it comes as a sort of good fortune really. It could easily be used as a weapon, light, not too long or too short.
I remove a pin from behind a pouch on my belt, which I placed there earlier, a few weeks ago, when I guessed it could come in handy. Crawling over to the ring it was attached to, I set about picking the lock. Hopefully, it won't take long.
Thankfully, soon enough it swings open with a satisfying click. I then proceed to free my hands, and then my ankles. The only downside is the fact I have them still on, except unattached.
Next I decide to work on the door, when I start to feel uneasy; but not in a they are about to find me uneasy. I frown as I work, trying to run through all the things that could be about to happen.
Maybe Crash?
Under attack by another ship?
Fire onboard?
I run through them, but nothing seems to fit. I glance over at a small beam of light the other side of the room. I think the window must have been covered years ago, seeing as it usually doesn't show any light. But this time, it does.
A thin, but unrealistically bright light shines through, and it's then I realise the ship isn't actually even flying - it must have landed.
I can't explain why, but I have a feeling something bad happened here, despite the brightness of the place. It makes me think of bad memories, ones I've tried so hard to forget about.
I try and push it to the back of my mind, focusing on opening the door. This one will be harder, considering the bar doors. I peel of a metal plate next to them, on my side of the bars, and I reveal a collection of wires. Using my knowledge of what Anakin taught me, I dismantle the alarm, the lock and the system controlling the bars movement. After slicing a yellow wire in half, the bars slide open smoothly and silently.
I pause in the doorway, wondering what to do next. Eventually I pull at my sling, which has finally been beaten beyond repair. It now only resembles a tattered price of cloth.
I leave the prison, sensing my way to the cockpit, by following the two bounty hunter's presence. I slip in and out of shadows and corners, determined not to be seen. Then, quicker than what I expected, I find myself standing outside the cockpit. The door is open, giving me a clear view of them. They seem to be studying a scanner, and it shows a diagram of the ship. It beeps gently, and the scanners flash a warning, marking directly under the ramp. I frown, wondering what it could be.
"We need to take a look at it," Ren stated, "I don't get what it could be,"
Her friend shrugged, but my attention was caught by my lightsabers hanging unguarded on Ren's belt. She wouldn't notice, but there was a strong chance he would notice from the corner of his eye.
"Let's take a look, and take her with us while we do it. Get the money quicker," he said, getting up, and catching sight of me.
"Hey!" He shouted at me, and I swung around and ran as they sprinted after me. I ran past the prison cells, ending up next to the panel that controlled the ship. It lowered painfully slowly, far too slowly. Within seconds I was trapped in the corner. But this time, I wasn't going to go so easily.
I use the force to throw Jordan across the room, ducking under Ren's flying fist. With her arms in the air, and me crouched, I swipe both of my weapons from her belt, then flip backwards as I activate them.
Jordan starts shooting at me, and I dodge the shots easily, only ever twisting slightly. But then Ren joins, and slowly, I find myself being forced down the ramp. As I head down backwards, I struggle to keep my balance on the awkwardly steep slope.
Then suddenly the shots stop coming. They leap down next to me, and I spin around, looking for the source of help.
But there is no help.
I find myself meeting eyes with someone who I saw die.
