Chapter Thirty
"Ahsoka!" I freeze, half standing in the side street I was about to dart into. I slump in defeat and turn around.
"Found you," Lux says, playfully pulling down my hood. I yank in back up too slowly, and Lux, Thorkil and Lok see my scars.
"Whoa! What happened to you?" Lux asks, looking shocked. I rub my left elbow to soften the pain.
"I'll tell you later," I reply.
"Is that what Jedi business is like every time?" Lok muses, and I shrug.
"Something like that," I say, walking towards the mansion, "Come on Lux. Quickly, I need to speak to Anakin,"
"Who's Anakin?" Thorkil asks us. Well, here we go again. I decide to ignore him. I grab Lux's wrist and drag him down the street, almost rynning. Lok however, doesn't follow.

"Okay, care to tell me what's going on? I really don't understand how you got covered in dust and blood that quickly," Lux inquires as we run across the garden and into the house.
"It's a gift," I say, hurrying towards the living room, where I sense both Anakin and Obi Wan's presense. I burst into the room.
"We've been traced!" I announce. Obi Wan frowns, and Anakin looks like he's still registering what I'm saying. Lux looks at me in shock.
"What happened?" Obi Wan asks me, glancing at my cut face and dusty cloak.
"That woman with the Manderlorian armour. She's here. She tried to kill me with her blaster, and she still has the lightsaber," I explain quickly. Anakin's expression hasn't changed.
"I sense a "but" coming, Obi Wan tells me, glancing over at his former padawan.
"I think, the lightsaber was mine," I admit. I'm met with a long silence.
"You're saying she followed us here?" Anakin frowns.
"Yes," I say slowly, nodding my head. I resist the temptation to clap sarcastically.
"But that doesn't make any sense!" he complains. I share a look with Obi Wan and I step backwards out of the room.
"Hey! Where are you going?" My master calls after me accusingly.
"To look at our ship!" I shout back, striding quickly down the hallway to escape. Lux hurries after me.
When we get to the ship I immediately go inside, and turn the scanners on, looking for any unidentified objects on the ship.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Anakin asks me, running in and shoving me aside.
"Anakin!" Obi Wan hurries in after him, looking unimpressed with my master.
"I was going to scan the ship for any tracking devices, but if I'm not allowed-" I start snippily, crossing my arms.
"My ship, my rules," Anakin interrupts, playing with the scanner settings. I roll my eyes. Suddenly something beeps, and Anakin stands up straight.
"See, there isn't even anything here," he smirks, folding his arms.
"Well how else did she follow us?" I say sharply. Obi Wan sighs and walks out. Lux follows.
"Maybe she got hold of the plans," he argues, and I shake my head.
"Hardly anyone knew about the plan in the first place," I retort.
"Well maybe she hacked into the systems!"
"Impossible!" I deny, "Only Jedi can get access to things like that!"
"Then maybe someone told her," Anakin retorts back.
"No way. You're saying that either Padme, someone from the council, me or Lux are betrayers?" I point at him crossly.
"I didn't say that Ahsoka. I said someone," he stressed the word.
"Well nobody else knows!" I cry, frustrated.
"It was only an idea. I'm sorry if it wasn't good enough for you!" He rolls his eyes.
"I didn't say it wasn't!" I say sharply.
"That's what it sounded like to me," Anakin states.
"Well, you were wrong then, weren't you!" I snap.
"Obviously," he says dryly. I glare at him.
"What?" He asks me.
"Nothing!" I deny.
"Tell me," he demands.
"No!"
"Ahsoka! I'm warning you," he says sternly, stepping towards me. I step back. Wow. We seem to be having more arguments than usual these days.
"IT'S NOTHING!" I shout at him slowly.
"It better be Ahsoka, because if it isn't,-" he gets cut off by the beeping of his commlink.
"Yes?" His tone changes slightly.
"Anakin, you might want to see this," the familier voice of Obi Wan crackles through the speaker.
"Fine. I'm coming," he turns it off and glares at me, "No talking,"
I open my mouth to snap something clever, but he gives me an "or else" look and I reluctantly don't say anything. Anakin strides down the ramp and I follow, further behind than normal.
Obi Wan is standing almost under the ramp of the ship with Lux, and they appear to be inspecting something..
"What's going on?" Anakin asks, walking up to them.
"Look at that," Obi Wan tells him, pointing at a familier looking device on top of a bolt.
I immediately give Anakin an "I told you so" look. He glares at me.
"Someone didn't set up the scanners very well," I comment before I can stop myself.
"What was the last thing I said to you Ahsoka?" Anakin asks me crossly.
Oh.
Whoops.
Authors Note:
By the way, if your wondering why Obi Wan left, it was a "I don't even want to know" moment, and Lux, deciding he had more experience with this, followed.
