Chapter Nine
We eventually came across two double glass doors, leading into what I believed to be some sort of staff room where the workers appeared to go during their breaks.
I throw a glance in Anakins direction and he nods at me. But before we enter he pull out a hologram of the identifications. There are only about three.
"Um...Master, wasn't there a few more than that?" I ask, frowning at him.
"Yep. There are more, but Obi Wan is going to take care of them," he reassures me.
"When was that decided?" I ask him as we walk through the doors; without knocking.
"Just now actually Snips," he says looking at me.
"Does Obi Wan know, or are you planning to tell him that later," I ask, fully aware that the second we walked in, everyone fell silent.
"He'll know...soon enough," Anakin said, turning his attention to the crowd of people. Leaning casually against the wall, he explained what he was doing in his "General Skywalker" mode. After calling out the names, the three men make their way to the front of the room.
Suddenly a bell rings gently, and everyone in the room got to their feet and left, staring at me and Anakin. It was obviously the end of their break. Some of those who passed me didn't meet my eyes, but their eyes stared at me, as if they'd never seen a Jedi before. Those who did look me in the eye quickly looked away, or looked at me almost warily.
"Ahsoka, I going somewhere more private," he pointed at a door at the far end of the room,"Contact Obi Wan and tell him the change of plans,"
"Of course Master," I nodded at him and unhooked the small hologram from my utility belt. I quickly had it turned on and talking to Master Obi Wan.
"Ahsoka, what's wrong?" Obi Wan's flickering blue image asked me, his voice full of concern.
"Nothing bad. Just Anakin, having another change of plan," I glance around to make sure he wasn't listening, and saw a worker in the corner, watching me. I hadn't noticed before.
"What is it?" he sighed, "I knew he wouldn't follow orders,"
"Anakin is going to question three of them, your job, is to do the others, apparently," I smile at him.
"Well, I suppose I will have to now, thank him for me won't you?" he sighs, stroking his beard.
"Of course, Master," I tell him. The hologram turns itself off and I clip it back onto my utility belt, noticing while I do it that the lone worker is still watching me. I straighten up, and lean against the wall, crossing my legs over one another.
"Your that Jedi, aren't you?" A low voice speaks to me and it takes me a second to realise it's the worker who was staring at me.
"That Jedi?" I ask him, frowning as I did so.
"You're the one who bombed the Jedi temple," his eyes are accusing and cold and I feel a need to defend myself.
"I was framed for it. But it was not me. Someone I trusted with my life betrayed me. My Master found her just before it was to late, and he saved my life," I whisper it at him through clenched teeth, but he still hears. His eyes widen in surprise, unexpectedly believing me.
"I am sorry. You were close to them?" he asks me cautiously, as though unsure if I had forgiven him.
"Very. They were my best friend, and a good Jedi," I tell him, looking steadily into his eyes to show that I am strong, and that the Jedi are strong.
"So, it was a Jedi..." the man murmured to himself, he looked away from my eyes and down to the floor, where he appeared to be thinking.
I frowned, wondering if this information was supposed to be top secret. I moaned and put my hands over my eyes as I closed them, realising it probably was. The worker looked up in alarm.
"I wasn't supposed to tell you that..." I said to him, my voice coming out muffled from behind my hands.
"Don't worry, I have no intention of telling anyone," he assured me.
"That's a relief," I say, taking my hands away from my face, "I can't believe I just said that, that's the secon-" I shut my mouth, I was about till tell a random stranger that was the second secret I'd told that day,"On second thoughts, never mind," I added.

After a long, long, awkward silence, Anakin eventually appears, shaking his head.
"Nothing," he announces, ignoring the worker in the corner.
"Well that criminal got hold of it somehow," I said, referring to our earlier conversation. From the corner of my eye, I see the worker frown.
"I know Snips. But today, I think we should just leave it to Obi Wan. All I can think about is your secret you decided to revel after a few years. I still can't believe you did that," Anakin shook his head and headed to the door.
"Well you know me Master, I'm full of surprises,"
