Ash Pov

...a fainted Yveltal on the ground. Wow. That was easy. I took off my hat and ruffled my hair.

"I guess I can go back now..." I said to myself. I turned around, about to release dialga. But what I saw shocked me to no end...

"SERENA?!?!"

"ASH?!?!"

~15 minutes ago~

Serena Pov

"Dammit! Just listen to me and RUN!" Shouted the man. "Fine! I'll go!" I shouted. I was clearly angry. I stormed off. But then I got an idea...

No way was I going to sit around and let him take care of it. I ducked behind a large crate and watched the fight from afar.

He let out one of his pokemon. It was a Greninja. Hmm. Ash had a Greninja. I wonder what ash is doing now. I miss him.

I shake my head, clearing the thoughts and focused on the fight.

"Alright then! Stronger and stronger! Here we GO!!!" The man said. I tilted my head in confusion. What does he mean by that?

I looked confused, but then I saw the Greninja with a vortex of water around it. Then everything clicked. That's Ash-Greninja. That's Ash.

I was speechless. I watched silently as Ash-Greninja threw a giant golden shuriken, and saw the biggest explosion I have ever seen.

When the smoke cleared, it revealed a fainted Yveltal. I was still speechless.

I got up, wanting to confirm it was Ash. When suddenly, the man took off his hat and ruffled his hair. His hair was jet black and was spiky. I'd recognize that hair anywhere. It WAS Ash!

Ash turned around and looked at me in shock.

"SERENA?!?!"

"ASH?!?!"

I ran towards him, tears forming in my eyes. I hugged him with all my might. "Ash! It's you! I'm so happy to see you again!" I said, tears flowing down my cheeks. "Yeah. Me too." Ash said. Something was off about him.

Oh, well. "What are you doing in Kalos?" I asked, pulling away from the hug. "Um... I can't talk right now." Ash said bluntly as he ran in the opposite direction.

"Ash! Wait!" I tried to catch up to him, but he was too fast. I stopped to catch my breath.

Ash Pov

I ran until I was sure no one could see me. I let out dialga. "Take me back to present day!" I shouted, getting on his back.

"Right away? What's the rush?" Dialga questioned. "Someone saw me!" I shouted in a panic. "Eh. It's fine. I'll just rewind time a little bit before they see you." Dialga explained. "You can do that?" I asked in awe. "Of course I can. I'm the master of time for crying out loud! Anyway, consider it done." Dialga stomped his foot and time started to reverse.

I was back to where I was about to take off my hat. I made sure not to make THAT mistake again.

My thoughts were interrupted by a sweet voice. "Excuse me, sir, but would you happen to be Ash Ketchum?" "Of course not! Why would you think that?!" I said in a raspy voice. "Well, you see, Ash had a Greninja just like yours, so I was wondering if-" "WHY DOES EVERYONE MISTAKE MY FOR THIS 'ASH' CHARACTER! I HAVEN'T EVEN HEARD OF THE GUY! THAT'S IT! I'M DONE!" I lashed out. I felt kinda bad but I'm pretty sure that threw her off at least a bit. She stood there, mouth wide open, as I walked away.

I walk back to Dialga and got on his back. "What was that about?" He asked. "Just had to make sure she didn't get the wrong idea. Take me to present day, please." "Yessir!"

We went into the time vortex once more. When the journey was over, I felt a wave of accomplishment rush over me. I could finally have my Serena in my arms again. I grinned at the thought.
