Ash Pov

As dialga took me through the time vortex, I started thinking about all the things I would do once Serena was back.

While in my own subconscious, I had failed to notice we had arrived. "Master? Are you alright?" Dialga spoke. "Wha-? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." I reassured him. "Great. Then let's get started." He looked straight ahead and started walking.

"I have taken the liberty of bringing you to Kalos and a day before the event happened." Dialga explained. "Wait. How did you know I wanted to go to Kalos and stop Yveltal?" I questioned. "Being a legendary Pokémon, I have the ability to read people's thoughts and deepest desires." He kept walking.

"I didn't know legendaries could do that." "They can't. But they can in this book because... Author liberties." He said blandly. "SHHH!! Quit breaking the fourth wall!" I half shouted. "I'm sorry." He replied. "It's fine. Just don't do it again." I said sternly. "Yes, master."

I was laying on the bed of the hotel room, trying to fall asleep. I sat up in frustration. My pokéball on the desk wiggled and out came Greninja.

"Greninja, Gren? (Is everything alright, ash?)" He asked with sympathy. "No. I'm not fine. I'm sleep deprived, depressed, and I'm homesick." I sighed. Greninja sat beside me. "Ninja, Gren, ninja! (Don't worry. Everything will be fine!)" Greninja said as he put his hand on my shoulder in determination. "You think so?" I asked, feeling at ease. "Greninja. (I know so.)" Greninja replied. "Thanks Greninja." I said, hugging him.

I awoke the next day refreshed and ready. I got dressed in a disguise so serena wouldn't recognize me. I then headed to anistar city moments before Yveltal showed up. I saw a wave of people over the horizon.

I knew exactly what was about to go down.

"RUN!!! YVELTAL IS COMING!!!!", shouted a man. "Yveltal? The legendary Pokémon?" Questioned Shauna. "That's the one! The Pokémon of death and destruction! RUN!!!!" Shouted Miette, in a panic. "LET'S GO!!!" shouted Shauna, running away with Nini and Miette.

"I can take him. Let's go, Braixen, Panchum, and Sylveon!" Serena said. She looked beautiful as ever. I had to save her.

"No. Stay back. Yveltal is far too powerful. I will handle this." I said in a disguised voice. "I assure you, sir. I can handle it myse-" "Dammit! Just listen to me and RUN!" I cut her off. I felt kind of bad, but it was what needed to be done. "Fine! I'll go!" She ran off to catch up with her performer friends.

"Now that that's over with, Greninja, I need your help!" I tossed his pokéball in the air. He appeared with a flash. "Ninja!" He shouted, getting in a battle position. "You beat Yveltal once, so you can beat him again, right?" I asked. "Gren!" He said, nodding his head.

"Alright then! Stronger and stronger! Here we GO!!!" Our bond phenomenon began. A vortex of water surrounded Greninja. As the water formed into the shuriken on his back, it revealed Ash-Greninja. We were ready.

As Yveltal grew ever closer, Greninja and I nodded to each other. Once Yveltal got close enough, I whispered under my breath, "This one's for you, Serena."

I then turned to Greninja. "NOW!!!" Greninga jumped high into the air, grabbed the shuriken, held it high above his head, and the shuriken glowed gold and it was nearly blinding.

He finally threw the shuriken after all that build-up, and it made the biggest explosion I have ever seen. I clutched my hat as it was about to fly off. The smoke cleared after a good minute or so. But when it did, I was shocked when it revealed...

Hehehehe cliffhangers. Anyway, sorry for not uploading for almost two months. I hate myself for it, but I was kind of swamped in school. And as usual, I hope everybody liked this chapter! BYEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
