Your POV

I slowly trudged into school, clutching my stomach slightly when I felt a strong pair of arms lift me up. I screamed in pain, he set me down and looked at me. His eyes welled with rage and became hard, I knew what he was thinking.
"Mark, if you do something to them, you'll be no better than them." I stated, flat and cold. He looked at me like he'd seen a ghost. He's never seen me like this, even though I'm like this often. He pulled me into a hug, I broke it and smiled at him and we walked to class, side by side.

I sat in class, upset that me and Mark weren't in the same one. I didn't have any friends but him, he was the only person who cared for me. Today was the last day of school. Once class was over I walked home. This seemed fami- oh no! I got home, I had already seen this, I remember this. Please, I don't want to live through it again! I walked through the door, calling into the darkness of the house. I saw blood, getting heavier the closer it got to the living room.
"MOM! DAD! (BROTHER'S NAME)!" I ran to them and saw a dark figure disappear out the window, I called the police. Everything went black again, I saw images appearing around me. It was images of me, I was bullied every day of school for being an orphan. Suddenly I saw the last day of highschool and the world opened around me, it was a college. I started walking in, I felt thoughts flow through my head 'but where will I stay? I don't have enough money for a dorm. I... I guess I'll just stay outside.' I decided finally. I walked up to where the dorms were, hoping that everyone was already asleep. I set my bag down underneath a landing and put my luggage against the wall behind me, I didn't want to lay on the floor so I was going to attempt sleeping sitting up. I heard someone talking, he was coming down the hall. He sounded familiar but I wasn't sure who it was, I closed my eyes but couldn't help but hear his conversation.
"What do you mean you aren't coming!?....... Wait, wait, wait, hold on! You mean to tell me that you didn't get in!? Really!?....... Fine, fine." I heard a beep so I guess he must've been talking on the phone, I started to drift off when I felt someone trip over me. I screamed in pain because he had hit a bruise that hadn't had time to heal from, I guess, highschool. I clutched my legs, almost forgetting about the person who had just taking.
"Are you alright!?" The man asked.
"What about you? You're the one who fell." I gdoaned in pain when I touched a particularly soar spot. I felt my pant leg being lifted up and I looked toward the man lifting it.
"MARK!?" I yelled as I realized who it was. He looked at me, horrified.
"(Y/n)!? Is-is it really you!? How did this happen!?" He seemed half scared, half happy but mostly concerned.
"Well... I guess the kids in school still don't accept me, it's no big deal, really." He looked me in the eyes and sighed.
"Do you want me to walk you to your room?" I wasn't going to cry, but those words certainly made my eyes water.
"I... I don't have a room..." I choked. Suddenly, Mark took me by the hand and lead me to a room, his room.
"Your lucky that my original roommate canceled on me, not that I wouldn't take you in, just that you wouldn't have a room." He stated, tears started flowing from my eyes. I hugged him and thanked him multiple times.

A/E (author explains) Okay, so basically you went through all of this crap with Mark. You remember all the things from your past. The only reason I didn't explain it is because there is just too much life to fill. Just know that on multiple occasions you ran out to make poems and stuff and you went back after, while Mark was sleeping.
