Ellie's POV

I awoke next to Liam snuggled and tangled in his embrace. I smiled to myself and turned my head to see Roman sitting by the door laying down sleeping. I slowly got up without waking anyone up and cleaned myself up. Once I finished getting ready I checked the time and saw that it was ten in the morning. Oh crap. I thought and ran my fingers through my hair. Roman must have heard something because once I moved into the closet where all my clothing were piled, hung, folded, and placed nicely on one side of the closet. I turned around and Roman nestled into my leg. I smiled while petting him and took out my clothing and got dressed smiling at the sleepy Liam as he snuggled into my pillow lightly snoring on it. This was my chance I quietly took out my iPhone and snapped a picture if him and giggled with Roman stalking behind me. I was giggling so bad that I didn't even notice there was someone in the kitchen.
"Good morning dear."
I turned into the kitchen and I swear I almost had a heart attack because this cute old last was standing there with a bowl and a stirring stick.
"Ahh... Good morning Ms?"
I said unsurely.
"Oh dear don't call me that just call me Faith okay!"
She smiled honestly and I smiled back with just as much happiness.
"What cha making Faith?"
I asked curiously.
"Well... I'm making a late being for you and Liam because you guys kind of missed breakfast."
She said.
I smiled and washed my hands asking,
"What can I do to help Faith?"
And with that me and Faith talked about my life and Liam's life. Honestly I don't know why I told her the things I did, but to be honest I felt like I could just trust her.
"MmHhmmm! What cha cooking Grams!"
I heard Liam say.
I turned my head and Liam exchanged glances at me and his grandma. Grandma? Oh crap!
"Grandma?"
I chocked out.
"Good morning to you too Liam or should I say early afternoon. Come now set the table because we're almost done cooking over here."
Faith said.
Liam nodded and started setting the table while I helped Faith finish the food and set them on the table.
"Ellie?"
Faith said as she sat right across the table from me.
"Yes?"
I said and looked at Liam sitting at the head of the table shifting his eyes from his grandma to me.
"Could you please pray for the food?"
She said with a smile.
"Ahh of course I would be honored."
I said,
"Let's now out heads and pray. Dear God, we thank you for this beautiful day you've bless us with and I thank you for allowing everyone to wake up in the morning and for protecting us last night. Lord I ask that you please bless the hands that made this food and I ask that you bless this food to give us strength to carry through this day Lord. Lord I also pray that you protect us as we continue this day and this week at most because we are going to be planning me and Liam's wedding this Saturday and may my parents and sister rest in peace and although they may not be there to attend my wedding."
I swallowed the lump in my throat and continued to push through with my prayer saying,
"I know that they will always be above watching me and protecting me and everything that happens happens for a reason and a purpose. I love you God and thank you. Amen."
I said finishing my prayer and wiped my tears saying,
"I'm sorry please excuse me."
"Of course."
Faith said.
Then I slowly got up and walked to the bathroom to clean myself up.

Liam's POV

"I like her."
Grandma said,
"This is actually a girl I approve of! You've done well little man."
I stared at my grandmother in disbelief because honestly she's been trying to play matchmaker for me ever since I've high school, but honestly I was happy because if grandma approved then I was worried for nothing.
"Thanks Gran! Honestly this is the girl I've been talking to you about and the girl I've been waiting for Gran... Honestly I'm so happy to get married and start a life with her."
Grandma just picked food into her plate and said,
"I'm happy you rejected all the girls that I picked because you're right she's a keeper."
I smiled at my grandma and walked over to herald hugged her.
"Thanks Gran. I knew you were trying all these girls because your were scared that I would've died lonely and alone, but I knew you were just getting to help your grandson and I'm grateful and thankful that you like her because hat means the world to me Gran."

Ellie's POV

When I finished crying I washed my face with cold water and dried it on a towel then throwing it into the dirty hamper. To be honest it took me forever to get my faith with God on track and it took forever to rebuild that trust again. In the beginning I was upset that God took my parents and sister from me and I was so mad at Martin for being so crazily obsessed with me and I was just mad at God because I went to church. I was I the praise band. I listened to my parents; except that one night and I lose my parents because of one slip? But once I realized that God did this to me for a reason and he does everything for a reason I began to accept my life as how it was given to me because this helped me realize that life was to short to be angry at and curse at. That's when the therapy started getting better and I went and became a doctor and helped the people that didn't have what I had or that were in the same situation as I was because I could relate to them and I could change them both spiritually and mentally. Of course it took time to change and I stood by their side and guides them through the process of change for the better.
"Okay let's get out there."
I said to myself,
"Oh goodness I hope I didn't make a bad impression on Faith and Liam I hope he's not upset at me..."
As I walked out of the bathroom I saw Liam and Faith hugging and I slowly turned around trying not to disturb the moment, Faith saw me and said,
"Oh dear. Come on and eat because he foods getting cold."
I slowly walked to the table and we all engaged into small talk and it was like a little bonding moment for everyone. Once we finished eating and cleaning it was already time to head out and try on my specially "one of a kind wedding dress."
"Hey Faith?"
I asked quietly as I saw her heading up the stairs.
"Yes?"
She said turning around to face me.
Liam looked at me curiously, but stood next to me.
"I was wondering if you'd like to come with me to my fitting for my dress... If you're not busy that is..."
I said softly shifting my weight from one foot to another.
"I'd... I'd... Honestly... I'd love to sweetie let's go."
She said smiling.
I flashed her my million dollar smile and ran and hugged her thanking her for coming and I slowly helped her into the car with Liam's help of course and we headed to Liam's parents house with grandma slowly drifting off to sleep.
"Why haven't I seen her around before Lee?"
I asked curiously watching her fast asleep.
"Because... She's pretty into her own social bubble... She doesn't leave my house period after... After... Granps..."
He said painfully gripping the stirring wheel.
"Oh... Lee... I'm so sorry... I didn't mean... Never mind I'm sorry."
I said placing my hands on his right hand and slowly bringing it down onto my lap saying,
"Just forget I asked... I'm sorry..."
"No... No... You deserve to know Shortcake..."
He said sighing and tightened his grip on my hand a little.
"It all started..."
He said.
"Four years ago. I was graduating college around that time and gran and gramps were coming to my graduation at Yale and... They..."
Liam started chocking out.
"Baby... It's okay.. If it's hard for you don't tell me."
"We got into a car accident, but it wasn't on an accident it was on purpose."
Faith said.
"Oh goodness... WHO would?! How could they?"
I shouted.
"Apparently as we were leaving our estate. We'll you see Liam and is lived in the same land, but in different houses on the land. Things started becoming creepy when we noticed little things out of place outside out home and our walks with Roman became more and more short because of his uneasiness. At first we thought it was just Lee trying to prank his grandparents, but as the day grew longer and we found out Lee had left to stay at the dorms in Yale the occurrences continued to happen. I told Troy about it and he brushed it off saying it was nothing. It was the day of our little Lee's graduation and we left our estate and started driving to Yale and it was during that time that I noticed this car driving behind us the entire time even when we took out stops. I told Troy about it, but he brushed it of stating that it was mere coincidence and that maybe that person was going to Yale along with us. As we rested and prepared for the drive there we appeared at a deserted highway and that car came speeding behind us and took out a gun and started shooting at our tires. Once he hit the two tires in the back the car swerved out of control and the car behind us sped up and as we were falling into the ditch I saw him... The very boy that I practically raised as my own grandchild..."
She said with so much hate and sorrow.
"Please no... Please don't say Martin please..."
I whispered gripping Liam's hand tighter and bringing it to my racing heart.
"It was Martin..."
She said.
I kid you jot my heart my have stopped for a minute and my blood must have turned cold.
"Oh my goodness... Faith.... I'm, I'm so sorry... This is all my fault if I just left with him... None of this would have happened!"
I wailed.
"No dear..."
Faith said patting my head softly,
"You know what he said before he died?"
She said smiling reminiscing in the memory.
I slowly shook my head no and she smiled continuing,
"Tell Lee to find that girl he's always been talking about! That girl must be something in order for me and him to always talk about her like I know her. Tell her I said welcome to the family."
I cried my eyes out and kissed Liam's hand that I was clutching onto for dear life.
"My Granps happy El. Are you? Because I can promise you that I am."
I smiled and kissed his cheek looking back at Faith saying,
"With you and your family I always am Lee... Thank you for never giving up and me and for giving me everything I could ever ask for."
"Oh really?"
"Yep!"
"What is it then?"
Lee said smiling at me looking straight at me.
"You."
"Really?"
"Yep!"
"How cliché."
"Oh shut up!"
I chuckled.
"Ellie! Lee! Come on we've been sitting in the car way longer than nessacry!"
Faith groaned.
I looked around and noticed that we were in front of Liam's parents house already and Jenny was smiling at me and Lee's little intimate moment.
"Oh my goodness! When did we get here?"
I said.
"Like a little less then ten minutes ago."
i jumped out of my seat and opened the door quickly closing it and helping Faith out of the car and Jenny beamed at us.
"Mom! Oh my Gaahhh!"
"Do not us the Lord's name is vain Jenny!"
Faith said.
"Sorry mom! I'm so happy you're out the house it's been four long years."
Jenny said with pain striking her face, but she quickly masked it and smiled.
"Yeah it has been four long years, but this young lady right here."
She said pointing toward me saying,
"She helped me realize that I can't be mourning anymore and everything was according to God's will. Now let's go see that gown of yours Jenny."
Jenny squealed and hoppers on the balls of her feet saying,
"Pete! Keep Liam occupied while us girls go try on the dresses!"
"Sure thing baby."
Pete screamed from the living room while he grabbed Liam by the neck and pulled him into the massive living room.
"Now let's go try on that dress!"
Faith smiled and we were lead to the dressing room that was specially made for my dresses.
"Wait! Dresses?! There's more than one of an one of a kind dress?!"
I shouted.
"Ahhh? Duhh?! I have only one son and I knew you were Lessia, Ellie!? I've been knowing and you're a great role model! I've been waiting for that knuckle head to realize that you and Lessia were the same person, but that knuckle head never got the hint. I'm glad that I knew because I've been preparing these dresses for like ever!"
Jenny said clapping her hands together happily.
"Really you've known?"
I said shocked.
"Of course dear. Me and Pete were waiting for you to come home. We're glad and happy for what you've been doing for all those kids here in our nation. Now enough of that let's go try on those dresses!"
Jenny said opening the door and there were racks and racks of wedding gowns all in plastic bags.
I giggled along with Faith and stared at all the beautiful gowns saying,
"I can't wait to say yes to the dress!"
