For those who might not know him, his name is Podd Suphakorn. He played the role of Sun in Dark Blue Kiss opposite Fluke Gawin Caskey who played the role of Mork.
Podd's POV
I parked my car in my designated spot in the busy hospital parking lot. The spot that said "Hospital Administrator".
I always feel proud whenever I see that title because I worked so hard to get to where I am now. The nights of long studies. long work hours, sometimes all nighters seven days in a row just to accomplish tasks that urgently needed to be done, were all worth it.
And now here I am at the pinnacle position of one of the largest hospitals in this bustling city.
I started to make my way to the lobby when I smelled cigarette smoke. Shit, someone was trying to burn his lungs so very early in the morning. They better be just a visitor and not a hospital employee.
I looked around. Someone in a white orderly's uniform was standing with his back to me blowing smoke rings into the air.
"Hey!" I called out.
He was startled out of his reverie. I could tell because he made a startled movement and turned his head around in whiplash fashion.
"Are you on your break?" I asked angrily. He'd better be.
I could tell by his fearful yet defiant expression that he had recognized me as the big kahuna of the hospital.
"Yes, sir, I am," he said in a hostile tone. At least he had addressed me as 'sir'. "And as you can see, I am smoking in the designated area for smokers."
"I can see that," I said. "But let me tell you, son, you might not live long enough to reach your retirement years if you keep up that smoking habit of yours."
" 'Son' my foot!" I heard him mutter angrily under his breath as I walked away from him.
I could not get away fast enough. I absolutely hated the smell of cigarette smoke.
Tul's POV

I might have called Fluke at a wrong time.
He did not respond to my call. My call got directed to his voicemail. I might have caught him at his busiest work hour.
"Hey," I said after the voicemail beeped, "This is Tul. I was just trying out this number that was on this piece of paper that you left with me. Now you have my number registered on your phone. You can call me any time you wish to. If I can be of help in any way just let me know. I really appreciate all the things that you did for me while I was at the hospital. Maybe if you can text me your home address I can send a thank you parcel to you there."
"Who are you talking to?"
I almost jumped when Max walked into the room.
"Oh remember that orderly who assisted me to the curbside of the hospital? I was just leaving a message thanking him for everything that he did for me while I was at the hospital. He gave me some really good and efficient service," I replied, hating myself for feeling guilty when I had no reason to be.
"How were you able to leave a message? You asked for his number? He gave you his number?"
"What's with all this interrogation?" I was starting to get upset.
"Well I just find it a bit out of the ordinary that you would exchange numbers with an orderly. And don't get me wrong, I'm not putting down his work title. I'm just, I don't know, patients normally don't do that sort of thing with an orderly of all people," Max was starting to look between upset and confused.
"Listen, you snooty prick, orderlies are decent hospital workers. And I did not give my contact number to Fluke. He gave his to me," I tried not to make my voice sound angry because I did not want to pick a fight with Max. Not today of all days when I just got back from the hospital.
"Ahh... so this Fluke of yours..."
"He is not my Fluke, you bloody jerk!"
I drew in a deep prolonged breath.
"Max, let's not make an issue out of this, please. I just said thank you to him and that's that. End of," I was practically pleading with him.
"Okay, babe, let's forget it. Here, try this tom yum soup while it's piping hot," said Max.
I thanked all the saints above, Saint Gracie, Saint Anne, Saint Leah, Saint Jeremy, Saint Suppapong, and all the saints in heaven for watching over me and sparing me from a tussle of words with Max this evening.
Max scooped a spoonful of the steaming hot tom yum and brought it to my mouth. I took a tiny sip to avoid getting my tongue scalded. It tasted heavenly.
After Max gave me the last spoonful of the tom yum, I said to him in all sincerity, "I don't deserve you, Max, you take such good care of me."
Max set the empty bowl down on my bedside table and placed his warm hands on either side of my face.
"You are the only reason for my existence. You deserve all my love. Please don't ever break my heart." I'm sure that I did not imagine the quiver in his voice.
"I will never give you cause to cry," I said, and gave him a tight hug.
