painting monotonous colors

on a white canvas in fluid motion

— my ambivalent and rhapsodic emotions.

Glued to the stage and my mind is blank,

playing a piece from the classical era

but melody's corrupt and beats collide

—the rhythm, my fingers can't find.

Nailed to the floor and unable to speak,

three weeks of practice for the same song

I sing on a stage with lights in my face

—still looking for my destined place.

Drowned in words and understanding none,

writing a story of epic proportions

on a computer screen or on my phone

—a lonely world that has become my home.

A creative profession comes with lost minds,

or fingers searching for rhythm

or a drowning soul writing lost philosophy

—things that retain ambivalent rhapsody.
