He tossed the car key on the bed and sat with a thud on the recliner. Arnav took out his phone and opened his picture gallery which was flooded with Khushi's picture. He took his favorite picture of Khushi and kissed it...

Arnav placed the phone towards his chest and laid back on the recliner. Hot tears started pouring out from his eyes like a river. His mind ran towards the incident which led him to this situation.

Arnav parked his car outside the Farmhouse. He was at RM to change his dress when his Amma called him and asked him to come to the farmhouse immediately.

Arnav took the dress packet from the co-passenger seat and walked towards the living room of his farmhouse. As soon as he entered the living room, he saw Shyam raising his hand on Anjali.

Arnav : What the hell is happening here?

Anjali ran towards Arnav and hugged him...

Anjali : Chotte!!! Help me... Shyamji is saying that he will leave me... I cannot live without him, Chotte...

Arnav : What??? But why? What's the issue now?

Shyam : I want you to marry Sheetal, Arnav... Otherwise, I will leave your Di...

Arnav fumed hearing it...

Arvind : If something happens to her, you are responsible, Arnav... He shouted...

Arnav stood negligently as if he didn't hear anything.

The doctor was called and she started checking Anjali whereas everyone stood outside with a tense face. After some time
the doctor came out with an emotionless face...

Ratna :  How is my daughter, Doctor?

Doctor : I won't lie... She is in a very critical condition... In this condition, it is fatal to get anxieties... Now she is stable. Even the baby is fine for now... But another shock or emotional turmoils can lead her to the worst condition which can even jeopardize her life...

After some time, he came out after getting ready. He took the key and was about to exit his room then Ratna entered his room...

Arnav : Ma. Do you want anything? Say it fast... I am in a hurry...

Ratna : Yes... I never asked you anything... But now I want it...

Arnav : What's it?

Ratna : A promise... Chotte!!! If you consider me as your Ma then you should obey me...

Arnav : No Amma... Please don't. I will... I will come... Suddenly Ratna smiled and dragged him towards the living room where people are
assembled... Then everything happened suddenly...

Arnav jerked from his thought listening to the noise of the thunder... Rain was pouring outside as if joining him in his agony. He looked at Khushi's picture again.

Arnav : Khushi .. Jaan... You will hate me now na... How am I going to live baby? You know na how much I love you... Baby please please please don't leave me... I won't survive Jaanu...You know na if there is no Khushi then Arnav won't have any reason to live...
You are the reason for my existence my Jaan... Without you, I won't live... I will never marry that Sheetal baby... I promise you... I promise you that I will clear this mess soon. Please, trust me, Jaan. I love you my Jaan... I love you... I love you so much... It was my helplessness... Amma... Amma said she would die if I don't go... At that time nothing registered with me...
