Tangled Fate of Two Hearts
Misthi sat alone in her room, lost in bittersweet memories of her engagement day with Kunal. She remembered the joy and excitement that had filled the air as her family and friends gathered to celebrate the happy occasion.
"Congratulations, Misthi! You and Kunal make such a beautiful couple" her Jasmeet Chachi had exclaimed, with shining eyes in happiness.
Misthi had blushed and smiled, feeling on top of the world as Kunal held her hand and whispered sweet words of love in her ear.
"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Misthi. You are everything I've ever wanted," he had said, his eyes filled with adoration.
But as Misthi replayed those words in her mind, a pang of sadness washed over her. She realized now that Kunal's love had been nothing but a facade, a lie meant to cover up his true feelings for her cousin sister, Kuhu.
"Why did you pretend to love me, Kunal? Was it all just a game to you?" Misthi whispered to herself, tears welling up in her eyes.
The memory of that day now felt tainted, and Misthi couldn't help but feel cheated and betrayed by the man she started loving, admiring and falling for.
Just as Misthi was lost in her thoughts, there was a soft knock on her door. She looked up to see Abir, Kunal's brother, standing in the doorway with a concerned expression on his face.
"Misthi, can I come in?" Abir asked gently.
Misthi nodded, and Abir entered the room, sitting down next to her on the bed.
"I saw the way Kunal was looking at Kuhu during the engagement, Misthi. I'm so sorry you had to go through that," Abir said, his voice filled with empathy.
Misthi felt a fresh wave of tears threatening to spill over, but Abir's kind words gave her a sense of comfort.
"I don't know what to do, Abir.
I always thought Kunal loved me, but now I see that it was all a lie," Misthi confessed, her voice trembling.
Abir reached out and took her hand in his, offering her a reassuring squeeze.
"You deserve someone who truly loves and respects you, Misthi. And if Kunal can't give you that, then maybe it's time for you to follow your heart and decide if you still want to marry him," Abir said, his gaze softened and gave way for understanding her condition.
Misthi looked into Abir's eyes, grateful for his support and understanding. She knew that she needed to make a decision, and it had to come from her heart.
Taking a deep breath, Misthi wiped away her tears and made up her mind.
"Thank you, Abir. You're right. I need to follow my heart and do what's best for me," Misthi said, her voice filled with determination.
Abir smiled at her, proud of her strength and resilience.
"I'll support you no matter what you decide, Misthi. Just remember that you deserve to be happy and loved," Abir said, offering her a reassuring hug.
Misthi felt a sense of clarity wash over her as she made her decision. She knew that it wouldn't be easy, but she was ready to face whatever came her way.
With Abir's support, Misthi felt a newfound sense of courage as she prepared to confront Kunal and make her decision about their future. And whatever she chose, she knew that she was finally listening to her heart.
Fate is a strange thing! whenever it gives you something,it will also take something from you and it never cares whether that's what you wanted...
