The book which fell was of Alia's and right now she was sitting on the chair with her eyes wide open staring blankly at the wall in front. I moved towards her to shake her a bit.

" Alia, what happened? Alia!!!" I touched her hands to feel it completely cold as ice. Her entire body was stiff and skin pale with eyes wide open. I snapped my fingers once but nothing working and suddenly I heard her scream..."

"NO DON'T!!! STOP DON'T KILL THEM." 

I was scared as hell and didn't know what to do. So I started screaming mumma's name. I went out of the room and stood on the stairs calling out for Mom, Amms and Mausi. They all came hearing my voice. 

Amms-" What happened Nandini? Why are you screaming like this did something happened to you?" She asked standing just at the foot of the stairs. Mummy climbed up and was right beside me. 

" Amms... Mumma woh.. Alia I don't know what has happened to her. You please come with me." I didn't know I was crying until I saw my mother wiping my teary eyes with her fingers and looking equally worried. Mohini Mausi ran up at jet speed and zoomed into my room.

Entering inside my room we saw Alia sitting the same way I had left her with eyes wide open staring blankly at the front wall of my room. 

Alia-"  Don't go there... don't plz." She was shouting some minutes ago but now she was mumbling to her self. Mohini Mausi was about to shake her when Amms stopped her by holding her arms. 

Gayatri-" No, don't go near her mohini. Wait here let me see." Suddenly the whole atmosphere of my room was turned chilly and silent. Amms went towards her and sat right infront of her staring at her. 

Gayatri-" Alia, can you listen to me? What are you seeing tell me dear." Her calm but whispering voice did something to Alia, she stopped for a second and then replied.

Alia-" There is a big house, those people will kill them... There is a big Vulture soaring high ready attack the crow, stop that please. Nandini what are you doing don't go near them don't touch the sto..." She was about to say something but before that she fell flat on my bed backwards being unconscious. 

We ran towards her while Amms took her hand in hers strocking her hair simultaneously. Mumma went to grab some water from the kitchen while mausi sat beside an unconscious Alia crying and trying to wake her up. 

Mohini-"Mom what happened to her? Why is she not waking up and what was all that she was speaking?" 

Gayatri-" She is fine Mohini just stop crying okay. I still don't know if I'm right or not but if what I'm thinking is right then we will have to work really hard and also it will change Alia's life." She was deep in thoughts while I was standing by the door staring at all of this with a confused and scared look. A lot had already happened what else is left to happen.

After sometime Alia got up holding her head and looked at everyone around. 

Alia-"  My head it hurts like hell. what was that... damn I can't take this anymore plz someone stop this headache." Mausi started pressing her head while Mom gave her some water to drink. Amms walked towards her and took her hand. 

Gayatri-" Aloo, do you remember what happened some moments ago? What did you see beta and why were you shouting?" She asked her looking at her straight. I also stood beside Amms while Mom was right behind me.

Alia-" Amms, I don't remember clearly that how it started, I was with Nandini teaching her when suddenly I felt my head have a shooting pain and then I just blacked out for a second and then saw someone trying to kill someone. It felt like a reel where one after another I was seeing stuff. I saw a huge Vulture and a crow or a Raven who was being chased. The last bit I saw Nandini but then it was really confusing." Alia's words were not making any sense, infact what was she actually talking about me was also not clear. 

Gayatri-" Alia has it ever happened to you before? Anything you saw earlier or you had any pain?" 

Alia-" Amms this is the first,  but yes headache I use to have infact from past few days it increased but it stops abruptly as it comes." 

Nidhi-" Mom what exactly is the matter? Is something wrong with Alia you are looking worried." Mum asked amms while I sat beside Alia rubbing her ice cold hands while she smiled slightly like thanking me.

Gayatri-" Alia has seen a vision, maybe like a replica of future event. I don't know much about this but I have heard about this. The only question is that how can Alia have them when she clearly has no ascendent who has these kinds of power as far as I remember. We will have to meet the Guardians and talk to them. Specially now that she has even seen Nandini in that." I was myself feeling like my head would burst while Alia had her eyes wide open.

CAFE COFFEE DAY 

Mukti and I were in CCD and I told Mukti about all the happenings while Mukti was jotting them down along with sipping her cappuccino. We decided to meet here at 11 am because we cannot talk in college about this as their secret hideout place was under rennovation by the college authority. 

Mukti-" Are you sure Nanz that Alia is not making up stories and all this is really true? I mean maybe she didn't see all this and is just acting?" 

Nandini-" No mukku, Alia is not acting. I know how you feel about Alia and her being mean but this time she is really not acting because I had myself seen her eyes completely going dark and hollow for those 10-15 mins. Even Amms was there and you cannot make her a fool she has high experience on all this. The only thing that makes me confuse is what actually does all this mean specially she had seen me too." I rubbed my temples with both hand massaging them, its really taking a toll on my nerves and brain with all the secrets and problems popping up one after another. 

Mukti-" Okay okay relax yourself Nanz, if all this is true then Alia is also special right? Is it that even she can travel in time like you because you both were born on the same date, am I right? Maybe even she has inherited the genes." She said while I looked at her nodding my head. 

" No mukti, she doesn't have any travel powers because it can only be inherited by a single person in one generation unless they are twins which we are not. Amms has told that she will be taking Alia with her to the Guardians to know exactly what is it. Lets see what happens."

Mukti-" Means today Alia won't be there at college?" She sounded very happy while I chuckled

" Yaa she is not coming today, from last night she has been eating and eating like she hadn't had anything from ages and then slept like a log. I guess this entire vision made her tired." 

Mukti-" Alia ATE? LIKE ALIA SAXENA HAD FOOD. I thought she only lived on air. She is a diet freak yaar." She laughed bending her head back grabbing some peoples attention while I kicked her feet under the table silencing her. 

" Madam stop laughing and lets get going we have just 10 mins for Raghav sir's class to start which I'm not suppose to miss. Get your lazy ass moving Nothing is left in that glass you idiot." I dragged her while she took the last sip of her coffee making a SLURP sound grabbing her books and bag.

GD COLLEGE 

We were lucky as we reached the class on time and still there was no sign of Raghav sir. Mukti was whining about me attending that class while I was literally dragging her like a mother drags her kid to go for school. 

" Mukku stop behaving like a nursery kid. What is wrong with attending class? Lets take our seat before Raghav sir comes." 

Mukti-" That white Mouse is annoying yaar, and he always picks me up to ask his silly questions. I don't know why half of the girls in our college are smitten by that mouse. Really now a days girls interest in hot and handsome guys are detoriating." I hit her head playfully looking here n there if not Raghav sir has arrived. It was strange that he was getting late for his class because he is very punctual. 

We sat on our usual seat and just after sometime Raghav sir entered but this time there was someone else with him. There came a guy looking dapper in 

Raghav-" Good afternoon students, we have with us a new student who has joined in mid-terms because of transfer. So let you people get introduced to him." He motioned towards the guy.

" Hello peeps, this is Aryaman Khurana. I'm from delhi and have joined in the middle for some reasons. I looking forward to having a great time here." He winked at last at the corner where some girl gang was sitting making them squeal silently as Raghav sir was present. 

Raghav-" Aryaman I think you can get friendly with all after my class as for now we are getting late. Please take your seat." Aryamann scanned the classroom and started walking towards where we were sitting he took the empty seat just behind us. We turned around a little only to see him popping a chewing gum in his mouth giving us a smirk. He winked at Mukti once while she made an annoying face and turned towards the front. 

Raghav-" Aryaman you can take notes from Nandini of my previous classes. I would have asked Alia but today she is absent. Well even Nandini is a good student she will help you with covering up." I snapped my head up to look at Raghav sir praising me while everyone's eyes was on me. I gave a nervous smile to Raghav sir while he started teaching.

The class ended and so did torture for many of the students. As we were walking out we heard someone calling my name. 

"NANDINI !! STOP." I turned to see Aryaman coming towards us. 

Arya-" Hey you are Nandini right? Well as Raghav has asked me to take help from you so I hope you will help me? I think we can be friends and if we become friends then I will know more about this college and afterwards you can also give me your notes which though I have no interest in them but have to complete." He asked forwarding his hand infront of me. I looked at his hand and then at Mukti who was already drilling holes in him from her eyes. 

Mukti-" Excuse me Mr. fresher Raghav has only asked you to take notes from Nanz which she will give no need to get extra friendly. If you want to know about college then look there are many people who will Loveeee to show you around but not us." she snapped at him while he smiled at her.

Arya-" You are quite feisty, well I really didn't want to intrude but was making general conversation. You are right I can make anyone show me around but the thing is other girls are a bit getting too touchy with me. Not that I mind but I really don't think going with them will be safe. You people felt more safe so I came up to you both. But wait I asked Nandini and I think it will be better if she answers." He asked looking at me I didn't know what to say but he didn't look like a threat and if Raghav sir has on his own introduced him so he got to be someone known to him. 

" Okay I can help you show around but don't accept me to be friend with you on the very first day." As soon as I said this he got happy while Mukti just stomped her foot and left to canteen.

MANIK'S POV 

I was been called by Raj uncle in the morning to reach the lodge as soon as possible. Mrs. Basu had called him last night and asked him to meet the members but I didn't know why was I asked to join. Yesterday was the best day so far with me, Damon and Aryaman together. Aryaman made me more happy when he told that he had decided to complete his last year from Kolkata and wished to stay here. I was myself going to take him to GD College but this call made me drop my plan, though Mr. Raghav will be there and I hope he doesn't have any issue there.

I entered the hall only to see Mrs. Basu and Alia sitting there along with Moloy uncle, Dr. Sharma and Raj uncle. I scanned the hall but didn't find Nandini there.

RAj-" Manik good that you came, there has been a bigger problem now." He looked at me while I once gave a look to Alia who passed me a small smile and again held her head. 

"What happened Uncle?"

Raj-" Manik last night Alia saw something? Look its written on the paper and then she lost her conscious. " I saw the sheet on which somethings were written and what caught my attention at last was Nandini's name. 

"What is all this? I can't get anything out of these scattered words. Alia what exactly did you see?" I looked at Alia while she just shook her head sighing deeply.

Alia-" I don't know Manik, I just completely blacked out for those minutes also those were flashes of events half of which I don't know. Right now my head hurts like anything." 

Dr. Sharma-" Mrs. Basu you were right, alia had her first vision. This clearly indicates that she can look into future events because as per her reports there is no issue with her brain. So the only sane conclusion is this."

Raj-" I think we will have to call HER. She can only tell what is exactly the issue. Lets see what she says but I guess this surely has something to do with our mission afterall Alia even saw Nandini." We nodded our head while Alia was asked to take a day off and today I would be there with Nandini for her sessions. 

Around 2 pm Nandini came from her college and she came directly to Meeting hall. Today she was dressed in a green ankle length kurti and jeans. She was really looking amazing in that with her earings which were sparkling. She was smiling listening to something which Moloy uncle said and today for the first time I think she looked like a college going girl because other times she just look like a kid in school. I just turned my head away when I saw them coming near. 

Nandini-" Good afternoon Raj uncle." She smiled while Uncle also smiled and greeted her. 

Raj-" Good afternoon Nandini, today your class will be taken by Manik as I have given Alia an off. So I think you both can sit in any one of the cellars downstairs and continue with your work? What say Manik?" Uncle looked at me while I nodded my head giving Nandini a look to see if she is okay with it or not. Her facial expression said that she didn't want that but then she doesn't have a choice. 

Moloy-" I will take them both Mr. Malhotra and Nandini if you want you can even complete your college work if you want after your class is done." Nandini smiled at Moloy uncle and he moved ahead. Nandini looked at me and then started walking after Moloy uncle and even I joined behind her.

As soon as we reached the cellar I could hear Nandini asking Moloy uncle

Nandini-" Moloy uncle, you also stay with me na, why are you leaving me alone with this Monster." this really made me chuckle, she thought that I couldn't hear her as she was speaking slowly but I guess she doesn't know about my powers of hearing. I can hear people's whisper too if I concentrate. Her request didn't made me angry but laugh slowly. 

Moloy-" Nandini, Manik is not bad you don't be scared of him. He will teach you things properly without shouting or being rude to you. Raj had a talk with him yesterday. You relax and I would have loved to join you both but I have work upstairs. If he does something so let me know I will scold him." I made a face hearing Uncle and decided to intervene.

" So are you both done making planes against me? Moloy uncle you know me from before, you should be on my side not hers. Miss Diamond you stop going complaining about me to everyone that too when I have not done anything." I stood behind her while she jumped a bit seeing me but made a face.  

Moloy uncle laughed and patted Nandini's head before coming to me.

Moloy-" Manik I never take any one person's side you both are same for me. I also know you my boy so you better keep your temper in control while you teach her. And try to be friendly with each other." He gave my shoulder a pat and left the cellar. 

I looked at Nandini who was sitting on the peach color sofa with her phone texting someone.

" ahhu.. ahuu.. Nanduuuu we need to study not pass time here. So lets give you a background of our secret society. Also you will tell me about important dates from history." My smirking face was annoying her more as her crying face said it all. This will surely be fun.
