Manik's POV 

We were discussing about the attack with the guardians when I heard Elena's voice. Turning around I saw her with Aliya entering in the hall and what she revealed took everyone of us by surprise. Aliya's vision were fitting perfectly with what happened with us. Nandini was asking me about all this but I signaled her to be quite for a while because even I had no idea as to what exactly was going. Then came the final blow from their end stating that Aliya hails from the WICCAN SOCIETY. What else is left for us to see man. This is just going more deep. 

Raj-" But how come we never came to know? Mrs. Basu never told us about all this, Elena are you sure?" Raj uncle was going all bonker over this new found knowledge ,well he has to be already he is handling one secret society and now finding another is completely different.

Elena-" I'm sure Mr. Malhotra, even I'm a part of WICCAN and do know about its members. I checked family history of the Saxena and got to know that Aliya's grand mother was also a part of witchcraft and she has inherited it. Aliya didn't know about her powers because these powers show their full force once a person reaches 18 years of age the same like a time traveler. I think you people took her powers of witchcraft mistaken as that of a time traveler and she herself being unaware of her family history neglected the forces. She has powers to predict future but not fully, it will be coded sometimes. With more practice and powers she will be able to handle things. You all need not to worry I will help her in that after all that is what my job is, right?" We all heard Elena explain and smiling at last looking at Aliya to ease her a bit. 

Raj-" Well if this is the ultimate truth then we all hope that Aliya also get accustom to the new things and with you Elena I'm sure she will be safe." He smiled at them and kept a hand on Aliya's head to which she smiled.

Raj-" Manik and Nandini, you people now can leave for the day I will call you both once we settle things here."

With this we left the hall.

" Elena, won't you even talk to me know?" I asked Elena as soon as we came out of the Lodge. 

Elena-" Do I know you mister? Ohh yes I do, you are the Ruby, a time traveler. Nice meeting you now I need to leave so bye." She sarcastically replied and was leaving me when I just held her wrist and then picked him up by her waist up in the air. 

" Come on, don't be so angry on me now that too when you can't stay for a long time." I pouted but I knew she would snap at me again definitely something has happened in my absence and she is cross with me. I could see Nandini's and Aliya's shocked face. 

Elena-" You monkey put me down before I do something to you. Do not forget that you have hurt your arms. Put me down and then go and hang out with your best friend, why do you even need me when you have your best friend and brother?" She snapped at me and hit my other uninjured arm still whining to put her down. Even though she can use her powers but she won't as it can hurt me now. 

" Nope, not happening till you tell me why you are angry with me? What did that duffer fed you against me?" 

Elena-" I'm here from the past 1 week but you didn't even come to meet me once and now you have the audacity to say that why am I angry with you?" She pinched my arms making me put her down while I caressed my arms. 

" Excuse me, there is a correction. You did come last week but did not stay at your home but went MIA just after 2 days. I knew about your arrival but just like a good friend and brother I let you two love birds enjoy your alone time and had decided to meet you once you come with that Vam...Damon. I had told him to bring you along. I was very busy with this meet too you can't blame me now." I put on my best puppy face to melt her while she shook her head but smiled at last and hugged me.

Elena-" You will never change and stop making this puppy face. I know you were busy and even I was called for Aliya so I went away." 

We turned around to look at both the sisters looking at us while now it hit us that we just gave them a show. Elena smiled looking at Nandini who gave her a low smile. 

Elena-" Hey, I'm Elena Gilbert, a friend and sister of this idiot. By profession a doctor but secretly a witch." I snickered when she called me an idiot but smiled at her mentioning being my sister. She really is like an elder sister to me who has guided me through all this mess. 

Nandini-" Hey Elena, I'm Nandini Rajvansh a student and secretly a time traveler. Well this is the first time I introduced myself like this." She giggled shaking hands with Elena. I saw Aliya looking at us and suddenly she averted her eyes when she saw me looking at her. 

" Aliya how are you now? Elena what will happen next and did you people find out who was behind all this?" 

Aliya-" I'm good Manik, In fact much better after meeting Elena. My life really has taken a 360° turn from being trained as a time traveler to coming to know that I'm a witch it's really going great." She sounded so disturbed. Well you can't blame anyone here. Some misunderstanding led both Nandini and Aliya to come on this path. I gave her a pat on her shoulder in an encouraging way and smiled at her.

"You will get through this Aliya. Infact now you have the best to train you in all this, Elena is here and even we all are with you. You will be of great help to us. Am I right Nandini?" I looked at Nandini who also smiled giving Aliya a side hug.

Nandini-" Yes Aliya we all are in this together."

Elena-" Well it's good to know you people are together. But I don't think it will be easy. Aliya needs to have control over emotions and powers otherwise this will affect her health too. She can only help you if she has control over her visions and then she can see things what she wants to more specifically."

"Okay, so I guess we all should leave now. Come I will drop you two home and then Elena and I will go to my place." I tried diverting their attention as it's been a lot for a day for all of us. With this we 4 left the place.

1952

"What is all this? Did you asked those people to go behind them?" A lady's voice was heard shouting at a man who was standing near a window staring outside.

"It was needed Jaan, they had Mrs. Basu's blood, all these years of work would have gone in waste if we hadn't stopped them--" he was stopped in between by the lady.

"So what? For that work will you send goons after them? Have you forgotten as to what relation we have with them? And let me tell you the plan has failed because Manik and Nandini both have travelled back in time with the tube. And not to forget your dear nephew Manik was also injured." She snapped at the man who turned towards her in shock.

"What? But how can this be possible? How were they defeated? Manik.. how did he got hurt? I just wanted that he give away the tube." He ran his hands over his hair in despair and then banged his fist on the table in front of him.

"Siddhant those goons were dangerous and they reacted when Manik didn't give away and fought back with them. I got to know from one of the members who had called you but I picked up the phone. Well I must say he had been trained well because fighting with 4 goons alone needs lots of training and he even had a gun with him." She took a seat near the window looking at the man who was right now glaring at her.

Siddhant-"Sanvi stop praising that boy for god sake. His trained failed our plan. It seems like the guardians of their time are putting a lot of efforts in turning time travelers into a fighting machine and also carry guns in the past which was banned in our time." Siddhant started taking long strides from one end of the room to another.

Sanvi-" Hmm.. even I was thinking the same. But now what Siddhant? They have Nahar maa's blood. That leaves only the 2 of us for the circle to close." She looked tensed now and got up from her seat looking at Siddhant who was not standing in front of her.

Sid-" Sanvi I don't know--"

"You both don't need to worry about that my kids. I will do everything in my power to hide you from them." They both turned around to see Mrs. Basu standing outside the study room.

Sanvi-" Nahar maa what are you doing here? That too in the morning what if someone gets to know? We all will be caught." Sanvi ran towards Mrs Basu and brought her inside after which she closed the study room.

Nahar-" No one will get to know Sanvi. I have set my own trusted bodyguards around,no one can come here. And lodge's people don't have the audacity to stalk me as they know about my anger issues. You don't worry about that ,right now we need to discuss what to do next. Siddhant you did wrong with sending goons after my great grand daughter. I don't care about that ill-mannered Malhotra but then my darling Nandini could have got hurt you idiot." She snapped at Siddhant who rolled his eyes ready to get one more lecture.

Sanvi-" Nahar maa you can scold him afterwards but right now think about how do we save ourselves. Now that they have everyone's blood they only need ours. Till how long will we be able to save ourselves."

Nahar-" Sanvi don't call me maa now plz. I mean Abhi ke liye atleast call me Di. I'm not so old yaar. You people have come from the future. Okay so coming to your concern so have you forgotten that you still hold the trump card? Even you both have a chorograpgh which needs just Manik and Nandini's blood read into it, if I'm not wrong then the guardians will not risk sending Manik or Nandini directly to you both as even they would fear what if you catch hold of them first. They are in the perception that you both want the magic of the Circle for your own personal use. It's going to be a 2 way battle. If you are scared of being caught by them, so even they are scared of sending those two to you. This will only save you for time being." She reasoned out the point which they had completely forgotten.

Siddhant-" I agree Mrs Basu, but then it is also a matter of concern for us. We won't be able to achieve our goal if we don't meet Nandini soon. Our motive is not to close the circle and Nandini can only be convinced because Manik has been completely brainwashed." His voice held both helplessness as well as anger. Sanvi kept her hand on his shoulder to relax him.

Nahar-" Siddhant we can't do anything in this. All we can hope now is she gets the message I have passed on to her. The rest is upon her to either believe or not." Both Sanvi and Siddhant looked at her in confusion while she gave them a smile.

PRESENT YEAR 2020

Nandini's POV

Manik dropped me and Aliya home after which she went straight to her room. I didn't bug her more and went to my own room.
Changing into my night dress and taking my handbag I made myself comfortable on my bed and took out a small chit kind of a thing from the bag which Mrs. Basu had given to me while we were coming back.

Flashback

Manik and I took leave from Mrs Basu and were about to go when Mrs Basu stopped me and hugged me,Manik moved ahead to give us some space.

Mrs. Basu-" Nandini just read this once please don't ask me what it is as I can't tell you now and don't tell this to Manik." I looked at my hand and then kept it inside my suit.
With this even I left with Manik.

Flashback over 

I looked at the chit still contemplating whether to open it or not?

*What would my Granny don't want Manik to know? This is so confusing and why always I have to face such situations. I guess it's better if I open it and see. Maybe it can have something useful for me.*

I opened the chit but what I read just confused me more. It had just 2 lines written in a beautiful calligraphic handwriting.

"Things you see are not always the truth,
Truth you want you know are not always been told."

You have to know a lot before you take your final decision.
