THEIR CLOSENESS, HER FEAR

Hello my lovely readers, your love has made this story reach its zenith almost in such a short span.

Its #4 in eternal. Thank you so much to each and every one of you loves the story, votes and comments on it and especially those who support and encourage me the most.

It had been two hours the flight landed and since then the excitement of the people for the upcoming wedding was on its zenith.

Every other person was engaged with one or other preparation of the wedding but for Arnav, things seemed different.

Having his eyes glued to a particular duo of girls, he kept sitting in front of a bunch of ladies, looking like a lunatic for the onlookers who were too confused to see him staring at bunch of every age group ladies.

Too annoyed by constant tapping on his shoulder, he turned around to meet another pair of orbs with spects.

He smirked seeing the angered frown on her face. Sniffing back a mocking smile he hugged her to which she squirmed and then kicked him hard.

Wailing an Aauuu, he jumped grabbing everyone's attention while Aman who was following her could just shake his head with a sigh.

This is bound to happen when the two friends turned enemy meets.

Sharing a bitter-sweet relation, bitter by her and sweet by his side, they are a hurricane together where one goes to the limit of annoying the other, having fun on her cost while she gives him a hard time with her words and well her kicks.

How dare you stare at them?
She,the bride, about to be Mrs. from Miss, Tanvi chided as soon as Arnav regained his composure after being kicked at his abdomen.

Why?
Do I need to buy tickets to stare at them?
He asked with a cocky smile making her frown and anger increasing more and more.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM. She warned and giving him last hard glare, moved towards her Bestie while Arnav could just smile a cheeky one saying The wedding will be fun.

He turned to concentrate back on his matter of interest to feel another tap on his shoulder.

Rolling his eyes, knowing better who the next person is, he turned to find a worked up Aman.

Twisting his lips in annoyance, he snarled-

Man, when will you both stop this Tom and Jerry fight?

Stuffing his hands in his pant pockets and laying on the couch, he said with a rasping smile-

Bro, I never start it. Don't know what problem she has with me.

As if you don't know. Aman said and now that made his lips straight from curled and looking towards Aimal, he said, with a bit of hesitance-

Umm, Ahh!
Aimal is cute.

Aman's lips stretched to its widest length making Arnav smile too.

They both looked at Aimal, who was busy talking rather scolding her Gunnu (Guinea pig) as it tried to eat her frozen bag and Arnav heard Aman say-

That she is. She is my Jaaan.

Arnav could clearly see the depth of his love from his this one sentence and then he asked his next query, rather accusingly-

You never told me about her.

Aman looked at his brother from another mother and said with a hurtful smirk-

I never knew my sister or her daughter will be matter of interest to you, that too when you forgot her long back.

Arnav rolled his eyes in sheer annoyance for seeing a hurt brother awakening again and he could restrain from saying-

More than her, you are hurt, I guess. Look, she has moved on. She has a daughter, so you can keep aside your contempt, as she doesn't have one.

He said the last sentence little grumpily now with his eyes fixed at Khushi who had picked up a tantruming Aimal for a nap.

And why do I feel you are not so escatic about it? Aman's words alerted, confused and annoyed Arnav, who gave him a push saying-

Go and enjoy your wedding Aman.

Aman held Arnav's hand and warned him in a not so bestie manner-

And you better be away from her. You are my best friend. I really love you but dare you hurt her and you will see how much a brother loves his sister.

Arnav's eye brows raised high on its own accord and without wasting the next moment, he mocked considering it a matter of fact-

Who had been sleeping for five years and is freshly awake.

Is it 'My Tanker of Lava' effect as now you are going to get married to her?

He said with his dancing eyebrows and Aman couldn't help his laugh, forced to ignore the previous stunt.

Though Arnav was highly desperate inwards to know about Khushi, her past, her marriage, he shrugged it considering how protective Aman is being for Khushi.

The duo then slept next to each other. While Arnav busied himself with a nap, Aman kept wondering how is he going to deal with the upcoming events juggling in between his would be wife, sister and best friend.

That's why he already warned Arnav to stay away from Khushi and made Tanvi understand to tame her anger and enjoy their most important life event.

He was, atleast, relieved from Khushi's side knowing how strong and matured she is.

He was initially shocked to see Arnav staring at Aimal and Khushi with something akin to attraction.

It was weird and alerting both. But then somewhere deep down, he wanted Arnav to feel so.

Having spent 25 years with him, he knows him the way sometimes he, himself, fails to understand and the kind of a man his best friend, his Arnie Jaaan, is, he knows, he could be a perfect man, a perfect father, if only that stupid man knew that himself.

He wanted Arnav for Khushi but not on the cost of her humiliation.

It was his secret that he wanted Khushi, Aimal and Arnav as a family and such was the irony that the brother inside him doesnt want him even a feet closer to his loving sister.

He is webbed in his own wishes, insecurities and past of Arnav and Khushi and didn't know, which path he should actually follow.

Guess, this wedding would let him finally get a conclusion about what he should actually do based on the trio's betterment.

Lost in his thoughts, he didn't see when Aimal joined him and Arnav on the couch and was now tickling napping Arnav's tummy and smiling mischievously looking at her Aman mamu, making herself completely comfortable on her Mamu's tummy.

He smiled at his cute niece but dreaded an always angry and sulking ASR's reaction.

And he was highly surprised when he saw ASR, no near, and a cute half-sleepy Arnav peeking with his eyes half-open which opened widely seeing Aimal who was busy tickling him and in next second, he heard loud giggles of Aimal who was now hovered by a grinning Arnav and his tickles.

His heart warmed the way Arnav kissed Aimal's knuckles and she kept her head on his chest.

He took out his cell phone to click one of the cutest moment only to still seeing the rear image of a gobsmacked and little upset Khushi appearing on the black screen.

His head turned towards her direction who looked somewhat afraid with the closeness of her daughter to her once love and why not, that Khushi whom Arnav had once broken is now afraid, what if, her daughter starts admiring and loving him and he breaks the little child's fragile heart?

Will Arnav actually break a child's heart or Khushi will come across something she never thought of?

To be continued..
