Nandini's POV

"Nandini Singh Oberoi" I stopped doing whatever I was doing and looked at the person who said my full name. He is standing in front of me. I am frozen. I don't know what to say or do. I haven't heard my full name for 7 years. I am not Singh Oberoi, I want to scream at the person that I am not Singh Oberoi. I am feeling suffocated. I can't breathe. I am not able to breathe.

"You have cut our nose in front of society,"

"I have told you not to put her over your head and look at what she did?" I held my head to take out the voices out of my head. I took a deep breath to control my breath.

"Are you okay Babydoll?" He asked me to hold my shoulders. I looked at him and took a deep breath.

"Who is Nandini Singh Oberoi? There is no singh oberoi," I told him. He looked confusedly at me.

"Where were you when I tried to find you all these 7 years?" He asked me, making me remember the horrible day of my life. It made me remember the betrayal I got from family and friends. I took deep breath and try not to remember my struggle days, sleepless night, and the days I have slept on the fucking roads.

"Babydoll are you listening, are you okay?" He asked again, making me pull out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, yeah I am fine," I said as weeping sweat beat off my forehead.

"I will see you later. I have work to do," I said as I moved quickly out of the room. I moved toward my cabin.

Manik POV

Dr. Nandini moved out of the room quickly, making all of us more confused. why does her eyes show pain and betrayal. What had happened to her? Why is she in pain? I looked at Abhimanyu who was standing there with tears in his eyes. Does he know her but how?

"Do you know Dr. Nandini?" Cabir asked Abhi to look at the other side I think to wipe his tears from his eyes.

"I have known her for a long time. Didn't I tell you, she is the one who I have been looking for since 7 years ago. She changed so much, she is not my bubbly babydoll who used to hug me whenever I am near her. Did you see she didn't even look at me properly? She didn't hug me." He once told us that he is looking for someone and now I know who the girl is. But what happened to her changed so much.

I want to know. I want to know more about her. I just want to take away her pain. Her eyes show she is in so much pain. I just want to take away her pain but why? Why do I want to take away her pain? Who is she to me? Why does her eyes talk to me? I have no answers for all the questions.

"Why did she behave like that?" Dhruv asked him

"I don't know what had happened to her. I can't lose her again, she can't run away like that," Abhi said.

"Don't worry Abhi we all are with you and her," I was shocked to hear from Mukti as she is very possessive and protective about her things and person. Now I know that something bad has happened to her. I think I should go and see if she is fine.

"I will come right back," I said to them and hurriedly came out of the room as I heard

"What happened to him"

I was moved to find the Nandini cabin. I saw one of the nurses and ask her.

"Do you know where Dr. Nandini's Cabin is?"

"Yes sir upstairs," She said to me. I moved upstairs to see there is only one Cabin in the whole floor. I saw the nameplate which said Dr. Nandini MD of Life Care, Cardiologist and gynecologist. Wow, didn't know that she owns the number one hospital in India. I was moved to see that the door is slightly open.

I saw that Nandini is all curled up in the corner. I quickly turned towards her. I put my hand on her shoulder as she looked up. Her face is all red and her eyes are pouring like rain. I don't know what got into me but I just hugged her tightly as if my life depended on her.

"Please trust I didn't do anything. He is lying." She was saying those words continuously. I made her snuggle more into my arms and her face is in my neck.

"Shh.. Baby I got you. Take a deep breath. Come on, you are a strong girl right. Take a deep breath." I said to her rubbing her back as her breath got shorter and I hugged her tightly.

"I got you. I trust you baby." I comforted her and pulled her on my lap as I hugged her more tightly. I have never behaved like that to anyone. Manik right now concentrates on her. I feel her breath get normal.

"Nandini," I called her but she didn't respond. I took out her face from my neck to see her passed out.

"Nandini," I said, cupping her face. I tap her face to wake her up.

"Nandini" Oh my god she passed out. I picked her up and moved downstairs to see everyone looking at us but I don't fucking care right now. The girl came hurriedly as soon as they saw her pass out.

"What happened? Ma'am are you okay?" the girl asked me and I think that's Nandini's PA.

"She passed out. Call the doctor" I said to her as she nodded and showed me the room where I put her on the bed as I waited for the doctor to come. I think I should call Abhi.
