It was the day of Avni's baby shower...and everyone was excited about that.

Avni was getting ready in her room while neil entered. He looked at her and she was looking ravishing in her pink coloured gown accompanied by white n pink tiara.

He went near her and kissed her forehead and said

Neil : You are looking beautiful

Avni smiled

Avni : And what about you mr khanna....tumhe ready nhi hona..?"

Neil : Ha bs...i just come. u wait here okay.

Neil went inside to take shower and came out after getting ready in his attire for the day.

He looked at Avni and immediately got panicked as she was sitting on the bed and was breathing heavily

Neil panicked and he immediately went to her

Neil : Avni....kya hua..tum theek ho?

Avni : Pta nhi neil...kuch...kuch accha nhi lg rha...

Neil : Hum..hum aaj ka program cancil kr de...if u are not feeling well ?

Avni : No....no Neil....Its its my baby shower. No....i...i am okay. May be its just...may be its normal.

Neil : Are u sure ?

Avni : Ya ya i am fine.

Neil (smilingly) : Come lets go down....everyone must be waiting for us.

Neil came down holding Avni's hands and helping her to take each step slowly and carefully.

She was stunned and surprised by the view in front of her....as Kayra , Ali , Juhi , Vidyut and everyone has decorated the house so beautifully for her baby shower

Avni : Ye..ye sab...aap logo ne (she was delighted by the surprise)

Ali (coming near her ) : Ye sab tere liye avni...

Kayra : Ha bhabhi...ye sab aapke liye....or humare soon to be khanna baby ke kiye.

They all smiled

Avni : Its beautiful.....but itna sab krne ki kya jarurat thi

Shweta : Zarurat kaise nhi thi beta...tum jo hume khushi dene wali ho....uske aage to ye kuch bhi nhi hai... she said kissing avni's forehead

Neil : Arew he kya baat hui....saara pyaar avni ke liye (he said making a jealous pout )

Avni (teasing him) : Are you feeling Jealous Mr khanna...? she said smirking at him

Neil : Ha to...or kya. Baby mera bhi hai....after all.....mehnat to maine bhi ki thi... he said whispering the last line slowly into avni's ear

Avni blushed ....while everyone bursted into laughter

Shweta : Chup kr.... she said smilingly and kissed his forehead too.

Neela and Ashish also greated Avni and Neil as they were also there for avni's baby shower

Neela hugged avni while ashish hugged neil..

Neela : Avni.....kaisi ho bcha she said kissing her forehead

Avni : Main theek hu maa... she smiled

Neil : Haa maa....ye to theek hai....but main pareshan hu...
he said in a teasing manner...receiving a glare from avni

Avni : Neillll..main...main pareshan krti hu tumhe ...she said glaring at him

Neil : Or kya...Neela maa...aapki beti mujhe tang krti rehti hai hmesha...kabhi ye khana hai..kabhi vo khana hai.....kabhi ye lao....kabhi vo lao...uff main to tang aa gya hu isse.... he said smirking at her

Avni was looking at him....all fuming in anger

While neil and neela bursted in fits of laughter .....and avni was shocked that neela maa was was also on neil's side

Avni : Haww...maa..aap bhi neil ki side ho. Thats not fair.

She said while they laughed again having a high five with other

Avni : Thik hai....Koi....Koi baat nhi.......ek baar mere bete ko aane do...fir dekhna aap dono. Main or mera beta...hmesha ek team me rhenge...or aap dono ko...kabhi jeetne nhi denge.
Right baby....aap mumma ki side rhoge na.....she said caressing her baby bump

And the baby responded to the voice and kicked inside her...giving his approval to avni.

Avni (smiled in happiness) : Ahh...dekha he kicked. He is on my side. avni smirked at neil

Neil : Oh hello... First of all..'He' nhi 'She'....or haa meri beti meri team me rhegi.

Avni : She nhi He

Neil : She.....

Avni : He.....

Neil : Sheee...

Avni : Heee...

Neela : Ohhoo....Stop it....Bas kro tum dono. neela interupted making both of them silent

Neil and avni became silent

Neela : Ladna band kro....kitna ladte ho tum dono...
Vo 'He' hai...ya 'She'....ye baat badme pta chlegi. But filhal jis kaam ke liye aye hai vo kar le.

And the ceremony started....where avni sat on a long chair....and everyone gifted her with the presents and gave her blessings for the baby

Prakash : God bless u beta. I wish baby bilkul tum par jaye meri bachi. he blessed her to which she smiled

Shweta : May god bless your life with lots of happiness beta. And i know...tum ek bohot achi maa banogi. she blesses her

Neela : Avni bacha....i always wished to see your's and neil's child....and finally its happening. I wish ki ye baby tum dono ki life dher saari khushiyo se bhar de. she kissed her forehead

Ashish : Avni bacha.... Tum hmesha se bohot strong rhi ho... Or main janta hu....ki aage bhi meri beti bohot strong rhegi. he kisses her forehead. God bless you beta...and may god give all the happiness to you...and Neil.

This process continues and everyone blessed her while she was smiling all this while...and neil was helping her in carrying all the gifts they recieved for the upcoming baby...

After that its time for cake cutting

Avni cuts the cake along with Neil...and they fed the first bite to each other....while other's clapped.

The party ended well with dinner and sweet dishes....and everyone enjoyed with each other.

Avneil's room

They both changed and without having much talk they slept early...as avni was feeling really sleepy and also they were tired after whole day.

Later in mid night both neil and avni were sleeping.
Suddenly Avni got up as she was feeling pains in her stomach.
She sat on the bed and start rubbing her baby bump.
The pain was like cramps but a little more painful. She thought it to be another normal pain

She drank some water and got up from the bed and start walking in the room....as its helpful in decreasing the pain.

Neil who was sleeping turns towards avni's side and kept his hand on her side. Feeling her not there in her side of the bed.....he got up with the jerk and seeing her in front of his eyes...he got some relief.

Neil : Avni....

Avni (looking at him) : Neil....tum kab uthe ?

Neil : Bas abhi....kya hua...everything okay.

Avni : I dont know neil....Subah se hi kuch theek nhi lg rha tha...and now i am having these cramps.

Neil : What....tumne mujhe jagaya kyu nhi

He got up and went towards her

Neil : Avni...kaha pain ho rha hai

Avni : In my lower abdomen neil...and also in my back.

Neil (confusingly) : Avni....are....are you sure these are just cramps. May be these are labour pains?

Avni : I dont know....I have no idea

Neil : I...i think we should ask someone.... Main mom ko bulata hu

Avni nodded

And soon everyone gathered inside her room...while Avni's pain was just increasing and everyone got nervous about her.

Shweta (sitting beside her) : Avni..kya hua ?

Avni : Pta nhi mom...i am having these painful cramps.

Shweta : kab se ho rha hai ?

Avni : Subah se hi....but now its increasing more n more..

Shweta : (caressing her baby bump )
Is it geting hard inside your stomach...? I mean are you feeling something hard ?

Avni : Y...yes mom...

Shweta : Avni....i think these are not cramps.....these are contractions. You are going in labour.

Avni got nervous listening this
"What..contractions.."

Neil (widened his eyes) : What...?

Kayra : But mom..labour me to bohot pain hota hai.....so avni bhabhi itni normal kaise hai ?

Shweta : Thats because she has not dilated yet. Her water has not broken but she has started contracting.

Shweta : (Pointing at neil) Neil....i think its time to go. Hume hospital jana hoga.

Neil nodded with the same nervous look on his face as there was on avni's face...

Shweta : Praksh ji... aap neela ji or ashish ji ko bhi call kr dijiye.

Prakash : Haan..mai call krta hu

Shweta : Kayra tum cubboard se baby bag nikalo...

Kayra : Ji mom..

Shweta : Neil tu avni ko leke aa.....main driver se kehke car nikalwati hu....

Neil : Ji mom..

Kayra : Mom...baby bag is ready

Prakash : Maine unhe call kr diya....they are coming directly to the hospital.

Shweta : Okay...now lets leave for the hospital.

Neil picked up avni in his arms....and they all left for the hospital.....
