2 months later

Soon the days started to pass and the date of baby's arrival is coming closer and closer.
Khanna's and Mehta's were counting the days and were eagerly waiting for Neil's and Avni's baby.

Kayra was also back from the newyork and now she was helping Avni in her daily yoga sessions...so that she keeps calm and compose during the stressful and painful days.

While the days went like this with yoga and gossip sessions...nights were full of struggle for Neil and Avni....as the baby didnt let Avni sleep....and therefore Neil also has to wake up with her. The baby moves inside her alot...which did not let avni sleep.

They read books together and listen to music....and after hours like this they sleep after the baby sleep inside Avni....and let them sleep also.

At night

Neil : Is baby still moving ? neil asked keeping his hand over her stomach

Avni  : No...i guess we can sleep peacefully today. She smiled

Neil smiled and took her in his arms covering themselves with the duvet

Neil : Good night

Avni (cuddling to him) : Good night

They slept peacefully in each others arms

Later in the night Neil felt Avni moving continuosly in his arms....he can feel some kind of discomfart in her body

He opened hee eyes and by shaking her shoulders he asked
"Avni...are you okay?"

Avni openes her eyes slowly which were full of tears

Avni : Neil...its paining alot
she said looking at him

Neil : (placing his hand on her stomach inside the duvet ) Zyada pain ho rha hai ?

Avni : Yha nhi ho rha

Neil : To phir kaha ho rha hai ?

Avni (holding her chest) Yaha..yaha ho rha hai

Neil got worried. He quickly got up and switch on the lights
He moved to her side and  made her sit on the bed with her back rested with the headboard

He gave her water to drink and begin rubbing her back sitting next to her

Neil : feeling better

Avni was in tears due to unbearable pain

Avni : No..its still paining alot

Neil : Wait..i should call mom

Avni stopped him
No neil....itni raat ko....sab disturb ho jayenge...kisi ko mat jagao.

Neil : But Avni..

Avni : Please Neil... she insisted

She denied to disturb anyone... but her pain was real...she was in tears due to such pain which Neil cant ignore and he decided to call doctor instead

Despite Avni's refusal....he called her gynachologist Dr Neha .

She picked up the call..ans said she will be there in sometime.

Till then Neil was caressing Avni's hairs and holding her hands

Soon Dr Neha arrived and neil brought her in their room...without disturning the entire house

Dr Neha : Neil..please wait outside...till i check her

He agreed and went outside

After some time he came inside and asked her in a worried manner

"Neha...is she alright ?"

Avni gave him a faint smile

Dr Neha : Yes...She is fine neil

Neil sat next to avni and held her hands and asked

"Are you okay ? "

Avni : Hmm....i am feeling better.

She replied giving some relief to Neil...and he kissed her forehead

Neil : But Dr...avni ko hua kya tha. I mean...us..uske chest me...pain...achanak...?

Dr Neha : That was because the baby is now kicking her in her ribs. And due to constant pressure...she was feeling pain in her chest.

Neil : Is..is it normal ?

Dr Neha : Yes it is...actually as the time is near...so baby is growing and is more ative now.
So thats why its normal for her to feel such pain... at this time.

But dont worry Neil..i have given her injection and some medicines... in case you need it anytime.

Neil : Thank you so much doctor. Is time pe aane ke liye.

Dr neha : Its perfectly fine.

Neil : Should I drop you ?

Dr neha : No no..its fine.

Dr neha : (pointing at Avni )
And Avni...agr next time bhi aise pain ho so its normal..usually last days me baby kicks at ribs. So just try to calm him/her by caressing your stomach. And nothing to worry about. She smiled making the couple relax

After doctor left..neil locked the room and lye next to Avni

Avni moved towards him and rested her head on his chest

Neil : Tum theek ho na ?

Avni : Hmm...

Neil (caressing the baby bump) Ab to nhi kick kr rha ye shaitaan?

Avni (laughingly) : Nhii

Neil smiled and kissed her forehead
"So jao....you must be tired"

Avni : Han...tum bhi so jao

Neil was thinking something and avni noticed it

Avni : Neil....kya soch rhe ho ?

Neil : (looking at avni) Avni...i was wondering ki....tumhe kitna kuch sehan krna pdta hai....and not only you but all the mothers goes through so much pain.
We men can't even imagine that. But you....you all are so strong.

Avni was silently listening him and also adoring how kind and humble he is...

Neil : I dont know main kabhi ek acha father bn paunga...ya nhi.
But i know (looking in her eyes)..ki tum ek bohot achi maa banogi.
And I will teach my child to always respect you....whosoever it may be... he or she should know how much pain you are going through to bring him/her into this world...and how much strength it takes to face all this.

Listening him more...avni was getting emotional

Neil : Also.....I want them to love you more than me Avni....because its you who actually own them. I have done nothing.

Avni : No neil...please dont say such things. We are equally important.
Tum bhi mere saath puri puri raat jagte ho....mera dhyan rkhte ho. Mujhe kuch hota hai...to tum bhi pareshan hote ho...Neil you are supporting me in each way possible.
And me and baby are blessed to have you. avni said cupping his face with her hands

Avni : Or Neil....It would be a lie if i say it doesnt pain....Yes i go through a lot. But trust me...the baby gives me happiness each day...each minute.

Neil  smiled

Avni : And its okay Neil. The happiness is much more than this pain.

Neil looked at her and caressing over her chest he asked "Pain to nhi ho rha"

Avni : ahhh....she flinches in pain when neil caressed her breasts

Neil immediately bring her hand back "S...Sorry avni...i though it will soothe the pain... "

Avni : its okay neil...thoda thoda sa pain hai abhi bhi. But not that much ki mujhe neend na aaye. she said

Neil : Ha tum so jao avni...(kissing her forehead)...good night.

Avni (smilingly) : good night.

Soon they both slept
