Ice cream is more than just a soft frozen food made with sweetened and flavored milk fat. It is a magical treat that can fix almost any problem in day to day life.

Unless your lactose intolerant

   Hercules, much to everyone's surprise, dropped what he was doing to eat ice cream with his family and Lafayette couldn't be happier. The entire car ride to Camilles school he found himself smiling, and sneaking glances at his husbands face.

    Although he was driving, Herc kept one hand on the wheel and the other on Laf's thigh as they navigated through busy streets.

    The vehicle was filled with the soft hum of the radio, and the beautiful blue sky was covered in a few puffy white clouds. Today was almost perfect.

Or at least better than usual.

     When they pulled up at the front of Camilles school, they still had ten minutes until she got out.

"Should we just get her early?" Herc asked.

"Non, I think shes fine." Laf replied.

"What do want to do while we wait?"

    Lafayette thought about it. They didn't have a lot of time, but he didn't want Herc to get bored. Then he got a slightly devilish idea.

    Lafayette unbuckled his seat belt and crawled across the center console, sliding into his husbands lap.

"What are you up to?" Herc asked, clearly amused.

"I have absolutely no idea what your talking about." Laf said innocently, wrapping his arms around Herc neck.

     They rested their foreheads against eachother looking lovingly into eachothers eyes. Herc used one of his hands to softly rub Laf's back, while the other detangled Laf's curly mop of hair.

Then they kissed.
