Manik: I love you bacha!

Nandini released her breath on these words which she herself didn't know was holding. Soon a smile formed on her lips as those magical words never missed to do so!

Nandini: I love you too Mani! And I am sorry, maine aapko hurt kiya na? With my words? But I really didn't mean it! I was angry at you in the morning and then that bodygaurd came and all my anger came out on you! I know I behaved like your mini monster today!

She said looking down as she was really feeling guilty to hurt him though unintentionally. He smiled seeing her and adored her cute face.

Manik: My mini monster! My Nandini!

As soon as those words came from his lips, Nandini looked up immediately with a reply!

Nandini: *whispering* Yours! *with a cute pout* But galti aapki bhi hai! Mai toh gusse mai thi but aapne kaise soch liya ki mai aapke liye aisa kuch kahungi.. how did you assume that I will mind your interference in my life? And first of all its not my or your life anymore, its ours okay! Each decision we make affects each other's life as now we are not separate, we are soulmates! And you can rightfully interfere in my life and so can I in yours!

Manik: *raising his hand* Ok, Ok my mistake too! But thank god tum kuch aisa waisa nahi soch rahi thi! Phew!

Nandini: *frowning* Aisa Waisa matlab?

Manik: Are I thought you might feel that I dominate you, try to rule your life and not allow you to make decisions! In short be those typical orthodox husband!

Nandini: *nodding her head in disbelief* You are seriously mad! Which orthodox husband allows his wife to be miles away alone to let her complete her studies? Please enlighten me!

Manik smiled sheepishly making her laugh and he too joined her! They soon stopped and Nandini spoke up hesitantly.

Nandini: Manik ek bar aur soch... sochlo na about bodygaurd..

Manik: *sternly* Nandu...

Nandini: Are meri baat toh suniye, mai keh rahi thi ki what will I tell Arneha? Why do I have a bodygaurd suddenly? And think about my patients' privacy too.. hospital wont allow it!

Manik: Arneha ki tension mat lo, just tell them Abhi appointed him and rest I will handle and about hospital then he can atleast stand outside hospital right? And its just a matter of 5 months shona, uske baad you will be here with me and family around so I wont be tensed for you every minute!

Nandini: *gazing him* Mani sach bologe aap? Kuch puchu?

Manik: Ha Ha pucho na, why will I lie?

Nandini: You are still scared to loose me right coz of what happened in last few days?

That is it, Manik looked away being caught by his smart wife while she just got her answer confirmed making her sigh.

Nandini: Manik idhar dekhiye, meri taraf! Please for your bacha! *he looked at her* Mani see I am here in front of you safe and sound! Manik uss jerk jaise toh bohot ayenge but we cant live in fear na, ok I agree to keep a bodygaurd but in return you also have to let go of this fear of yours please... and waise bhi I wont ever leave you Manik, aapse dur jake wapas aap hi ke paas ana hai as remember humne hearts exchange kiye huye hai? *she spoke mischievously reminding him their conversation on the night she returned to UK after marriage while he too smile*

Manik: I will try shona, I promise but you are too precious for me.. the thought of losing you when you said you will die shook me. You have become my lifeline now and I am not saying this to be cheesy but its the truth.. without you, I cant imagine myself anymore. There is no Manik without Nandini... Manan is forever!

Nandini: *smiling widely* Hamesha! *surprising Manik* I wanna kiss you right now Mani...

Manik: Wow, separation ka ek fayda toh hua, my bacha became bold! *she blushed and he laughed* And there it all goes to drain, My shy Nandu is back!

It was his trick to distract her mind as he too badly wants to take her in his arms but knows its not possible. Next what followed was a moment of silence when Nandu spoke.

Nandini: Manik you start!

It was their habit to say everything that happened in the day to each other so that they do not miss any moments of each other's life. Manik told her whatever happened with Alya today and then thought something.

Manik: Shona... *she hmmed* Woh I was thinking now that Harshad is caught do you think we should tell our friends about us?

Nandini: No Manik... how can we? Think of Alya.. you only said that doctor has strictly told us that no more shocks to her plus if she knows that because of Harshad we did all this, she will feel bad which is not good for her, right? We cant risk a baby's life for our freedom haina?

Manik was staring at her with amused expression making her stop in her talks and raised her eyebrows at him making his shake his head in nothing with a smile.

Nandini: What?

Manik: Nothing, cant I stare at my biwi?

He smiled hearing baby!

She had a smug look on her face making Manik face palm at her silly logic!

Manik: That was so cheesy..

Nandini: Uhu.. that was not cheesy, I dont like cheese! That was ummm... *she started tapping her forefinger on her chin looking very cute. Manik felt like gobbling her up* yes that was chocolaty!

And he laughed at her making her pout but join in later.

Nandini: Ok my turn now! Mani I have decided to go back home tomorrow coz I have to go to Uni na...

Manik: What? No you are not going to Uni!

Nandini: Are yaar, I am fine! I am infact tired staying indoors plus my attention matters coz last two weeks se mai nahi gayi.. pehle aap yaha the and then I got sick. Aur mujhe konse pahad todne hai waha!

Manik: But...

Nandini: Shhh.. you worry too much! Maine aapki bodygaurd wali baat mani na? So now you also have to agree! I dont know anything, you have to!

Manik: Ok fine, maane toh wali nahi tum! And tumse manvana is the most difficult!

Nandini: I'll take it as a compliment!

Nandini: *excitedly* You saw? How was it?

Manik: God bacha, its been nearly 4 months to our marriage and you still blush at the word pati, why?

Nandini: *whispering* Pata nahi..

Manik shook her head in disbelief while chuckling and she pouted.

Nandini: Waise how come you are still in formals?

Manik: Ha woh mai bas dinner ke baad change karne hi jaa raha tha ki tumhare video dekha and then called you immediately! Ek second..

He spoke and stood up from bed and walked to the closet taking his vest and tracks. He unbuttoned his shirt and she gasped.

Manik: *smirking* What? You have seen more you know...

He removed his shirt by now and started wearing his vest while Nandini couldn't help but oogle at his well toned body and his abs. She got back in trance when she saw him undoing his pants.

Nandini: *closing her eyes* Manik...washroom mai jake change karo!

Manik: *smirking* Kyu tumze control nahi ho raha?

Nandini: Aisa kuch nahi hai..

Manik: *smirking* Are you getting turned on?

Nandini: *blushing* Manik please... or else I will do the same! *she immediately closed her mouth realising what she spoke* *in mind* Nandini tu chup nahi reh sakti na..kuch bhi bak deti hai and Ayiappa aap bhi mujhe nahi rokte!

He winked and she blushed looking down making him smirk. He took his tracks and changed it.

Manik: *coming out from closet* Waise madam, tum itne mai hi sharma gayi? Cabir ki teasing toh tum handle hi na kar pao jaise he teased me coz of you!

Nandini: Cabir bhai... why will he tease you coz of me?

Manik: *rolling his eyes* Does that idiot have any other job? Anyways long story, let it go!

Nandini: I have time.. go on!

He sighed knowing she wont agree and started telling her.

Flashback...
Manik had just returned from UK and as it was late night, he did not disturb anyone. Early next morning, he woke up and met Raj and Nyo in living room, went for jogging and after returning went to take a shower. He came out in his towel when he saw someone sitting on his bed which was none other than Cabira!

Manik: Geez man, you could have knocked!

Cabir: And when have I ever done that? Haa woh baat alag hai ki bhabhi ke ane ke baad se I will try to knock, since I dont wanna see you guys in a compromising position!

And as soon as he said that, a pillow was smacked in his face with Manik muttering a shut up. He went in the closet and came out wearing his trousers with his shirt in his hand. He raked his fingers through his hair while Cabir was lying on the bed waiting for Manik to finish. Cabir was blabering something or the other when his eyes fell on something making them go wide. He rushed to Manik and keenly looked at his bare back.

Manik: Sale kya kar raha hai, dur reh mujhse!

Cabir: Tch ruk na... what's this?

He said pointing at his back making Manik confused. Soon realisation dawn upon both and Manik turned to see Cabir smirking making him face palm as lots of teasing is on his way.

Cabir: So tu toh bada fast nikla yaar... I mean confession karne gaya tha sab nipta ke aya!

Manik: Cabir shut up, jyada dimaag mat laga!

Cabir: Na na dimaag lagane ki zarurat hi kaha hai, dikh joh rahe hai clearly meri bhabhi ke nail marks!

Manik: *glaring* Cabir....

Cabir: Ha I know that's my name! But Nandu is wild haan... these are deep man!

Manik: *pushing his shoulder* Saale chup hoja... socha kar bolne se pehle kiske baare mai bol raha hai! Bhabhi hai woh teri and usse bhi pehle behan!

Cabir: Chal hat... mujhe mat sikha jaise ki tere kuch bolne se mujhe farak padta hai! Main toh soch raha hu ki jis speed se tum dono jaa rahe ho, ek saal mai toh chachu bana hi doge mujhe!

Manik: *glaring to hide his slight blush* Cabir man shut up!

Cabir: *wide eyes* You are blushing! Man I cant believe The Manik Malhotra is blushing? Manna padega Nandu ko... kya bana diya iss monster ko!

Manik: Cabir get out! *pushing him to door* Jaa yaha se!

Cabir laughed and left but in a minute he again peeped in the room.

Cabir: Waise Manik.. you are no more virgin na? Nahi just checking!

Manik: Saale....

And he ran off!
Flashback end!

Manik chuckled on remembering the incident and Nandu's reaction just made hi laugh more... she had her eyes wide looking completely like those dolls with big eyes and curly lashes.

Nandini: Shit... What bhai must be thinking about me? Manik you should have been careful!

Manik: *sarcastically* Oh really, woh marks toh maine apne aap ko diye na.. so mujhe pata hoga woh waha hai right...

Nandini: Pata nahi tha...aise kaise? Dont they hurt?

Manik: Nah I didnt even realise and kya sochega.. wahi ki my wife loves me immensely and all that intensity comes out in bed!

Nandini blushed to the deepest shade of red whereas he laughed at her expense!

Manik: *laughing more* Oh god shona I love your blush and I love you more!

Nandini: I love you too!

As soon as she said that her room door banged open making her jump and look back to see Neha standing there.

Nandini: *shocked* Neha t..tum yaha? Iss waqt? Kaise?

Neha: *adjusting on bed* Kyu nahi aa sakti? Tujhse milne ayi thi! Such as awesome friend I have who doesn't even call me once in last 5 days!

Nandini: *pouting* Toh tu karleti!

Neha: Are mujhe kya pata tha ki tu kab so rahi hogi and kab awake hogi coz of ur medicine? Waise whom are you talking with? Kisse I love you too bol rahi thi?

Nandini: Wo..woh main haan m..main Amma se baat kar rahi thi! Haa unhi ka call tha!

Manik laughed on the other side as he could clearly hear the conversation and hearing her stuttering made him laugh and her lame excuse.

Neha: *looking at her watch* Iss time? She is awake? It must be 1am in India...

Nandini: Wo..woh *looking for an excuse* Ha...haan unhe meri ya..yaad aa rahi thi so un..unhone call karliya co...coz I am not well too na!

Neha: Then why are you stuttering? Kya chupa rahi hai? Koi boyfriend hai? Sachi bata?

Nandini: *shouting in shock* Boyfriend? *calming down seeing Neha's wide eyes* kya matlab boyfriend hai? Boyfriend banungi toh tujhe bataungi na..boyfriend nahi hai Amma hi hai and I am feeling cold that's why I am stuttering!

Manik made a bad face hearing 'boyfriend banaungi' from her as the possesive lover in him got awaken.

Neha: *sighing* Ok! Laa mjjhe bhi baat karne de..

Nandini: Nahi woh tu..tu andar ayi na so cut hogaya galti se..aise door kon kholta hai? Dara diya mujhe!

Neha: *sheepishly smiling* Woh i was eager to meet you so mai daud ke upar ayi so excitement mai darwaza zor se khul gaya... sholly! Acha chal old time ke jaise gappe ladate hai, its been long!

Nandini: *nodding* Mai phone charging mai rakh ke ati hu!

She went to the charger and kept the phone on charging! While doing that she disconnected and text him saying they will talk later and he replied saying ok and sent kissing emojis to which she blushed!

Afternoon 12pm,

Tanvi: Naira sun, did you see your email?

Naira: No why?

Tanvi: Its says that for our final year project, we will have a senior mentoring us as in post graduate students! And it has list of whom each person has!

Naira: Oh wow, that's interesting.. did you see my partner?

Tanvi: *nodding excitedly* He is the hottest hunk of their batch, KG!

Naira turn and both of them were shocked! It was none other than Kartik!

Naira: *with a haww face* You, and tum kya ho? Chip chip chasni... sari ladkiyo se mithi mithi bate karke chipakte ho... atleast mai kaam ki cheez hu unlike you who is injurious to health!

Kartik: Ha toh... wait a second what? Chip chip chasni? Oh god Naira...

He burst into laughter and she too couldn't hold anymore and laughed more... while Tanvi looked like she would faint seeing them fighting a second before with all the sarcastic comments and insults they can pull out on each other and now laughing like crazy! People in canteen too were looking at them with wide open mouth! All this was a bit too much of entertainment for the audience sitting in the food court to see! As soon as their laughter subsided, Kartik spoke up...

Kartik: *still chuckling* Do you remember something from this chip chip?

Naira: *laughing* Ofcourse I do, kya din tha woh! Oh god... Naksh bhai ki shaadi mai sangeet tha and decorators were decorating and hum as usual lad rahe the when I slipped and you too did trying to save me and hamara haath glue mai lag gaya tha which the decorators were using..

Kartik: *laughing* Aur ussi glue se galti se hamare haath bhi chipak gaye the... and jab tak hamare haath saath they we were together everywhere fighting unlimited!

Naira: Usme kya naya hai, we always fight, hamare communication ka tareka hai woh but guest ki joh halat huyi thi uss din! I still remember their faces!

And they both again burst into laughter again. Its as if they were in their own little world. Naira had her hand on his shoulder leaning on him as the laughter took over while he was laughing looking at her.

But soon enough they realised what happened a few minutes ago and awkwardness took over. Both stopped laughing and Naira immediately took her hand off his shoulder and both moved in opposite directions to avoid interaction.
