Keesh were in the front seat with Naksh driving whereas Manan were on the back seat with Nandini looking outside window pouting and Manik trying to gain her attention.

Manik: *pleading* Shona please yaar understand!

Nandini: *murmuring* Huh mere emotions ki kuch padi hi nahi hai.. fine Mr Malhotra so be it! I wont talk to you!

Manik: *puppy face* Bacha please...

Nandini: *crossing her arms and looking out* No!

Manik: *looking to the other side* Fine, do whatever you want! I dont care!

He too looked on the other side making Nandini flare her nose. Keesh who were witnessing their fight gave a look to each other and sighed nodding in disbelief as if 'Inka kuch nahi hosakta'!

Keerti: *irritated* Ab kya hua tum dono ke beech? Seriously har waqt ladte ho ek dusre se.. iss sab se fursat bhi milti hai tum dono ko? Kabhi pyaar se baat bhi karte ho kya?

Manan: *pointing at each other* Isne/inhone shuru kiya!

And they both again glared at each other while Keerti gave a pissed look.

Naksh: *to Keerti while driving* Jaan relax na! *to Manan* Ab tum dono mai se koi ugle ga ki kya hua?

Nandini: *sad face* Jiju, I want to go to drop him at airport tonight but he is declining!

Manik: *holding her hand* Jaan aisa nahi hai ki I dont want you to but you also understand na.. my flight is 11pm, after that tum itni raat ko akeli ghar aao in taxi is something I cant afford, its too risky! And you know Heathrow airport is far from our house.

Keerti: He is right Nandu! Dont be so stubborn!

Nandini made a sad face and looked down which pinched Manik's heart but he was helpless. Even Naksh couldn't see her like that, he honestly considers her as a sister and feels that brotherly love for her. He thought of something and spoke.

Naksh: Ok I have an idea in which Nandini can come to drop you!

Nandini looked at him with twinkling eyes and smiling brightly making Manik chuckle and Keerti shook her heat in disbelief but smiled seeing her so happy.

Nandini: *excited* Kya jiju?

Naksh: Manik you have a problem with her coming alone right? *he nodded* Toh I will come too, that way you wont need to call taxi and I will drop your wife home safely too! Sounds good?

Manik: Sounds great bhai! Thank you!

Nandini: Thank you so much jiju!

Naksh: Ab tu mujhe thanks bolegi Nandu?

Nandini smiled sheepishly while Manik frowned.

Manik: Bhai this is not fair, you accepted my thank you!

Nandini: *showing him tongue* Coz everyone loves me more than you!

Manik: *smirking* But you love me the most!

Nandini blushed and Keesh hooted. After that the journey to home was peaceful. KeeSh dropped Manan to their apartment and Keerti bid bye to Manik as they wouldn't meet after this!

Nandini: *entering the house* Home sweet home! Huff! I am so tired!

Manik smiled and walked to the kitchen to fetch water for both.

Manik: *forwarding the glass and slumping himself next to her* Here you go biwi!

Nandini: Thank you! Chaliye Manik, we dont have time to rest, abhi toh mujhe aapke kuch clothes washing mai dalne hai phir dryer, phir packing, phir lunch banana hai and dinner, huff bohot kaam hai.. tab tak aap please apne clothes nikal ke bed pe rakh de..

Manik: Jaan relax na, we will order food from outside!

Nandini: *standing up and tieing her hair in a messy bun* Nahi, bilkul bhi nahi, you are eating outside since two days, flight mai tabiyat bigad gayi toh! So get your ass up Mr Malhotra and get working.

Saying this she walked into their room, got the washing clothes from laundry basket and walked to the laundry room whereas he too started taking his clothes out from the closet but couldn't find some.

Manik: *shouting* Nandu!

Nandini: *running worriedly* Kya hua? You ok?

Manik: *frowning* Mujhe kya hoga? I am fine!

Nandini: *glaring* Toh chilaya kyu? You know you got me so worried...

Manik: *sheepishly smiling* Sorry woh meri fav Tshirt nahi nil rahi aur mere tracks bhi nahi hai.. And mere phone ka charger kaha hai? Yaar kuch milta hi nahi, sab tumhari galti hai, tumse pehle toh sab mil jata tha!

Nandini: Really? Mr Malhotra agar mai nahi hoti na toh pata nahi aap ka kya hota! Abhi abhi I said na ki I am putting some of your clothes in washing? And charger, Ayiappa! Mani kabhi toh apna dimag use kijiye, abhi we came from trip na, so obviously charger would be in bag! Aur yeh kitna saman bikhra diya room mai, Ayiappa mujhe na inko koi kaam dena hi nahi chahiye tha!

She started cleaning up the mess when he held her arms and pulled her to himself.

Manik: Come on yaar yeh sab sirf ek bahana tha Nandu, dont you get it? Actually you know what the problem is? *she shook her head and he spoke caressing her cheeks* Problem yeh hai ki tumhari aadat si hogayi hai, ab tumhari bina rehna matlab.... you know what I mean..

Nandini: *encircling her hand around his neck* I understand.. yes yes I very well do!

Manik: *resting his forehead on hers* God, pata nahi yeh six months kaise niklenge tumhare bina!

Saying this he bend down and kissed her cheek slowly making her close her eyes but immediately jerked behind as she heard the cooker whistle and both burst out laughing.

Nandini: Mai kitchen mai jati hu, tab tak please, dont create anymore mess Mani, I am warning you!

Manik nodded obediently and she moved to kitchen where she was cooking lunch. Post lunch, Nandini started packing while Manik was on his phone talking with his office staff to know the status of the work. He ended the call and walked in the room to see Nandini slowly wiping her tears making him sigh. He went and back hugged her to which she quickly wiped her tears. He turned her to him and lift her chin up but she avoided eye contact.

Manik: Bacha.. look at me!

She nodded in a no making him sigh. He sat on bed and made her sit on his lap.

Manik: Look at me.. please! *she looked up* Why these tears? Wasn't the memories we made enough to keep your smile intact? I know its difficult but that's life na jaan, you knew this was coming, right?

Nandini: *sniffing* Lekin itni jaldi nahi, aap.. aap na us jerk ko acha sabak sikhana, because of him we have to stay away! Kehne ko toh humne shaadi ki hai but phir bhi teenage lovers ki tarah dar dar ke rehna padta hai, whenever I want to call you, I have to make sure fab 5 wouldn't be around and same goes with Arneha for you! Kab khatam hoga yeh sab? Ayiappa hamare hi test kyu lete hai?

Saying this she burst into tears clutching his shirt and he too took her in his embrace as tears flowed freely from his eyes. He was rubbing her back, consoling her while she snuggled in his chest.

Manik: *composing himself* Shona..

Nandini: I am sorry!

Manik: Ab woh kyu, kya chal raha hai tumhare iss chotu se dimaag mai?

Nandini: Woh mai aapko bohot pareshan karti hu na.. agar you would have married any other girl, you would be happy right now just like a beautiful family but because of my issues you are suffering so much..

He kept staring at her and she shook his shoulders!

Manik: Actually you are right, so should we get a divorce? Chod paogi mujhe? Dekh paogi kisi aur ke saath mujhe? Bolo?

Nandini made a horrified face and wrapped her hands around his waist tight.

Manik: Ab kya hua? Hmm? *she still looked scared by the thought of it* Next time yeh sab faltu baate sochi na toh mai yahi karunga! And since when is it your issues or my issues instead of ours? *holding her chin up* Look at me when I talk! From now on, I want no such non sense from you, Am I clear? *she nodded weakly* Words Nandini, I want words!

Nandini: *looking down* Yes!

Manik: *sighing and holding her face* Jaana I love you, tum mere liye kabhi galat nahi ho sakti, you will never be at fault for me!

Nandini: *pouting* I love you too!

He immediately kissed her softly making her close her eyes and encircle her arms around his neck. He broke the kiss after a while and thought to lighten the situation.

Manik: Waise bacha, I think you have put on weight, *whispering as if telling her a secret* bohot bhari lag rahi ho!

She jerked up from his lap and glared at him making him chuckle. He grabbed her hand before she could move out of the room.

Manik: Lets sleep for a while!

Nandini: But packing?

Manik: Sab hojayega, right now you need rest, kal raat bhi maine tumhe sone nahi diya!

He winked and she blushed. Soon both laid down on bed and Nandini kept an alarm after 2 hrs and cuddled closer to him engulfing sleep immediately due to being highly tired!

Soon enough, she woke up with the alarm sound only to see him sleeping with his mouth open snoring slightly. She smiled and pecked his forehead slowly making sure not to disturb his sleep as she knows that he wont be able to sleep at night too as he cant sleep in flight always like Nyo told her. She did feel a lot better after the nap, she got up, stretched herself and went to freshen up. She made some light food for dinner as she didn't want to disturb him by packing in the same room. It was around 7 when she entered the room to see him still sleeping making her chuckle and shake her head as he has been sleeping for 4 hrs straight for a nap.

Nandini: *ruffling his hair* Mani.. uthiye see its almost dinner time!

Manik hmmed and turned on the other side to sleep again and she huffed. She tried few more times but seeing no effect on the brother of kumbkaran, she gave up. She started doing packing and after that literally dragged him up from sleeping position.

Manik: *falling on bed again* Shona yaar kya hai? Sone do na..

Nandini: *glaring at him* Mr Manik Malhotra.. get up in the count of 3 warna.. warna the result wont be good!

Manik: *covering himself again* Mai darta nahi hu..

Nandini: *Haww face* ek... do... *no response* sava do.... dhai... *still no response* te....

Manik: *huffing* I am up!

Nandini gave a winning smile and giggled seeing him scared.

Nandini: Good husband! You should be scared! Now get up and freshen up, mai dinner lagati hu.. *pointing her finger at him* and ha, andar phirse so mat jaana!

Manik: *murmuring* Hitler biwi!

Nandini: Kuch kaha?

Manik: *tight fake smile* Kuch bhi toh nahi shona!

Nandini: Good then go, I have kept your change here so take it!

Manik: *holding her arm* Smile!

Nandini: Huh?

Manik: What huh? There is nothing confusing in this.. I said smile! I know you are keeping this fake facade but you know you cant hide it from me!

Nandini: Toh kya karu? Fake smile du? Real wali toh aane se rahi! Anyways lets just forget it, give me some time.. I will be fine!

She gave him a faint smile and left the room whereas he stood their in his thoughts. He knew it will be difficult to leave when he came here, that's one of the reason he didn't come in the last three months coz if it was in his hand, he would have come every month and it would have been very much affordable to him too but this time he couldn't resist after her being angry and so he came. However, now it will take time for them to adjust in their schedule even after he goes back because this is the most amount of time they had spent together, nearly 2 weeks, and before they hardly got any time together in India. This time, they got to know each other better, lived with each other, this is the time they became two bodies one soul with their love, trust and care for each other. Moreover, it will be more difficult for Nandini than him for he has entire family their but Nandini has no one here, sure there are relatives near by but everyone will be busy in their own lives and meeting each other becomes occasional. No doubt she has lived alone before too but he wasn't aware of how it is for her and now that he has seen her schedule, her daily routine, her laziness for having meals at times and many other things, he was worried for her, he felt helpless.

Chucking all the thoughts, he freshen up and went outside to see her asleep on the table making him chuckle. He pecked her forehead and woke her up. They had their meal in silence with her in his lap, feeding each other.

Nandini: Mani, Naksh bhai ka call tha.. he will be here in 30 mins. Acha suniye, woh maine sab ke gifts big wali bag mai rakhe hai and your clothes are in the small one to avoid confusion. And yes, do tell me ki unhe gifts kaise lage.

He smiled at her and hugged her tight. She was startled by the sudden hug but nevertheless hugged him back, rubbing his back as she knew he very much needed it. They stayed in the hug for god knows how long while she could hear him sniffing a bit.

Nandini: *breaking the hug and cupping his face* Mani... no please aap mat roye, I have controlled myself with difficulty, mai bhi weak hojaungi seeing you like this!

Manik said nothing and just pulled her for a kiss in which she too gave in. They were pouring all their love in that kiss as if their life depended on it. He broke the kiss seeing her breathless and joined their forehead.

Manik: I love you bacha! Please take care of yourself and stop skipping your meals, dont cry much after I go and call me whenever you want even if it's night there, I dont care! And yes especially when you are on your monthly days coz now I know that you get very emotional then so please dont just keep crying, instead call me!

She smiling nodded to whatever he said and replied "I love you too Mani!" making him smile wide and hug her.

Manik: *breaking the hug* Aur haa.. uss Maddy se dur rehna!

She giggled at last and he was at peace now! Their moment ended with the door bell indicating Naksh was here. They loaded the luggage on the car and left to the airport. Manik bid bye to them repeating some of his advices to her again and she asking him to call when he reach. He gave her a long forehead kiss while Naksh had already left the couple alone for some privacy. Soon enough he left and Naksh drove Nandini back to her apartment.
