Morning 6am,
Nandini was peacefully sleeping on her bed all cuddled up with her blanket. She had a peaceful smile on her face but frowns took over immediately and she woke up with a jerk yelling Manik's name.

Nandini: *sitting with a jerk and looking around* Manik! Manik where are you?

She stood up and ran to check in balcony, bathroom, closet but he was no where to be seen. She immediately picked up her phone without even bothering to check it, she called him up.

Malhotra mansion,
Manik entered the mansion and was going towards his room when Dhruv spotted him.

Dhruv: *frowning* Buddy, tu itni jaldi uth gaya? And where are you coming from itni subah subah?

Manik: *startled* Ahhh.... woh actually ya mein toh garden mai tha.. actually buddy mai jaldi uth gaya toh socha to go for a jog!

Dhruv: *confused* In kapdo mai?

This is when he looked at his clothes he changed in Murthy villa. He was in his maroon Tee and jeans. (Remember guys, Manbir has a room in Murthy Villa)

Manik: Woh...woh mai haa I badly needed a shower so I took a shower and than I was too lazy to change so I went in this only...

Dhruv made a really bad face being highly confused with his weird behaviour whereas Manik was just finding a way to escape when his saviour called. His 'Shona ❤'.

Manik: Ahh Dhruv its from my PA so need to attend it, talk to you later buddy, at breakfast!

Saying this he immediately left for his room and closing the door he picked up the call.

Nandini: *scared* Ma...Manik aap kaha hai?

Manik: Hey..hey relax! Kya hua? Why are you stuttering?

Nandini: *still in panik* Manik aap thik toh hai na?

Manik: Ha shona, I am absolutely fine! I am at Malhotra mansion, actually came early morning because you know right, Fab 3 is at home. But what happened to you?

Nandini: *pissed* Toh bata kar nahi jaa sakte the aap! Mai kitna darr gayi thi do you know? Ek toh I had a nightmare and then next moment you are gayab, when I clearly remember you sleeping next to me last night. You could have woke me up right?

Manik was surprised with her tone as this was a first. He has heard from his parents that it is really hard to anger Nandini Murthy but when she does its hard to manofy her. But little did he know she was not angry just scared. Reason being the nightmare she had about Manik's car accident. Not very common nightmare, right? But when someone has just threaten you, a day before, to stay away from your own husband otherwise he would harm him than, its a very common thing to happen. It happens when you have deep connection with that person, when that person now holds a great position in your life, when you care about that person more than you do for yourself, when you LOVE that person. Just the way, he was worried for her yesterday, for His LOVE! But here its an unrealised LOVE! Yes, Nandini Murthy...oops Nandini Malhotra has slowly yet surely started to fall in love with her husband! ❤ And vice-versa!

Manik: But shona maine tumhe message kiya tha, tum soh rahi thi and you were looking too cute just like a baby, my bacha, so couldnt muster up the courage to wake you up. I am sorry!

Nandini: *a bit calm* No Manik, aap bhul gaye, friendship mai no sorry no thank you!

Manik: Thats like my Nandu! And about your nightmare, than Mrs Malhotra I need all the details when we meet today! Acha now that you are up, get ready and spend some time with your family coz I want my wife all by myself after my meeting! Am I clear?

Nandini: *smiling cutely* Yess hubby! Muahh.. *in mind* Shit Nandini yeh kya kardiya gadhi kahi ki!

Manik: Ahem... that would sound great on my cheeks now wouldnt it?

Nandini: *blushing hard* Ok bye!

She disconnected and went to washroom not before completing her blushing session. She came out after a shower and got ready in a beautiful pink and black saree. Arneha were coming today along with Navya for breakfast but she could care less, it was Manik's favourite attire on her and she wanted to wear it today. She also wore the heart chain, did some make-up and applied a little bit of sindhoor so its not very visible. She went down to see her Amma in temple and hugged her from behind.

Nandini: Good Morning Amma!

Ishita: Good Morning kanna! Aaja lets pray!

They prayed after which they went to kitchen and prepared breakfast, spending some mother-daughter time. After that she spend some time with her appa and bhai too who were equally sad but nevertheless she cheered them up. Soon Arneha and Navya joined them for breakfast which was fun filled after which Nandini went to kitchen with Neha and Navya tagging along to spend some girls time.

Neha: Nandu tu kitchen mai kya kar rahi hai, chal na room mai...

Nandini: *smiling whilst wearing an apron* Nehu, I am going to Malhotra mansion to meet everyone after this so I am making some red velvet cupcakes to take along. And we can chat here too right?

Navya: *teasingly* But red velvet cupcakes hi kyu?

Nandini: *gathering the ingredients* Kyunki woh Manik ka favourite hai....

She unknowingly blurted out but immediately regretted later as she saw Navya giving her a teasing smile whereas Neha stood there confused.

Neha: *frowning* But sirf Manik ka hi favourite kyu.... Am I missing something?

Navya: *trying to control the situation* Bhabhi aisa kuch nahi hai, its just Cabir ka toh tumhe pata hi hai, he likes everything and Naira bhi Nandu ke haath ka kuch bhi khaa sakti hai but Manik bhai is fussy, haina Nandu?

Nandini made a bad face when her Manik was being accussed as fussy but Navya glared at her to agree which made her pout.

Nandini: Aisa nahi hai but he asked me to make it for him so I agreed as everyone else likes it as well, bass! Now aap logo ka iterogation ho gaya ho toh can I continue?

They nodded and then she started baking whilst they chitchated and Navha helped Nandu ocassionally. Neha even asked as to why she suddenly wore a saree to which Nandini just shrugged off saying she likes to and does not get a chance in London which kind off convinced Neha. After the baking and decorating was done, Arneha and Navya went home to spend some time with their father whereas Nandini went to Malhotra mansion bidding bye to all for now as later they will join too and leave for airport from there.

On reaching the mansion, she went inside to see the living room empty so she went to kitchen where Nyo was instructing the butlers. She went and backhugged her making Nyo smile and turn, taking her in a hug. They then procedded to the living room waiting for Manbir to return, whereas Raj, Naira, Kiran and Yash joined them. Naitik's family had already left for UK.

Naira: *pouting and side hugging Nandu* Nandu di hum phir kabhi milenge? I will miss you a lot and then mai next week wapas jaa rahi hu so I will miss all of them too *pointing at her family*.

Nandini: *kissing her forehead* Barbie doll, I will miss you too but yeh toh tumhara last year haina, after that if you want tum internship yahi karlena, close to family...

Naira nodded than Kiran asked Nandini about packing which she said was a bit left as her luggage was here and she excused herself to their room to complete that. Here in the outhouse, Fab 5 completed their meeting and came in the mansion but MukAlya got a call from their boutique and they had to leave urgently so Dhruv too left with them after bidding bye to all. Manik thought Nandu is not here yet so he was eagerly looking at door making Cabra smirk.

Cabir: *singing* Inteha hogayi, intezar ki...

Naira: *continuing* Ayi na koi khabar mere yaar ki...

Manik: *smiling sarcastically* Cabir mere haath mai na bohot khujli ho rahi hai, I feel like punching someone so do you want one? *Cabir immediately made an innocent baby face and hid behing Nyo who was laughing by now whereas Manik turned to Naira* And princess...

Naira: *running away* Bhai mera na ek call aa raha hai.... *coming back* But by the way ek kaam ki news deti hu, *in his ears* the one you are eagerly waiting for is already in your room doing her packing.😉

She left whereas now Manik was finding a reason to go to his room when Yash patted his shoulder and spoke.

Yash: *smirking* Jaa puttar jaa uske pass, tu bhi apne pio ki tarah bahane bana ne mai zero hai..

Raj pouted hearing this whereas Manik ran from there not giving anyone chance to tease him. He went to their room to see her working with her back towards the door and bag on the bed. He went and back hugged her, making her stiff at her place but then relax as the strong smell of his cologne hit her nostrils. She smiled and turned to him and cupping her face pecked his cheek.

Manik: *surprised and touching his cheek where she kissed* Woah, yeh kis khushi mai?

Nandini: *shrugging* Kyu mai apne hubby ko without reason kiss nahi karsakti kya?

Manik: *smirking and pulling her closer* Karsakti ho but you know kahi aur bhi karsakti ho *caressing her lips*....

She blushed at this but she was noticing a change in him, those eyes which always shine brightly were dull today and this made her restless. She dragged him to the bed and made him sit at the edge after settling down beside him looked at him. He was getting confused with her behaviour but nevertheless stayed quite.

Nandini: *holding his hands* Let it out Manik!

Manik: *looking here and there* What? There's nothing!

Nandini: *cupping his face and turning it towards him* Then face me and say it na.... *sighing* Manik I know aap sad ho because I am leaving today, maine toh kal roh liya but what about you? Do you really think I am not aware of your condition? I very well know you by now and isiliye mai yeh bhi janti hu ke aap apne tears hide kar rahe hai so that I dont get upset, I dont feel weak but Manik you are wrong... Yes I will feel bad but not because of you crying instead because of you hiding your emotions for I will feel incapable, incapable of sharing my husband's grief, incapable of consoling him, for failing as a wife... so pls, pls let it out Manik!

And that is it, he crashed in her chest weeping whereas she gathered him in her arms, rubbing his back. She was hiding him in her arms unknown to the fact that two pairs of eyes watching them from outside. It was none other than Ranika who were emotional too seeing their children. They came to talk to them but left thinking to give them some privacy. Here Manik's sobs lower down when Nandu broke the hug and wiped his tears kissing his forehead but they still flowed.

Nandini: *wiping his tears* My baby's eyes does not suit tears. It always looks the best with those shine of happiness. And ha, no more tears ok... I want you to bid me bye happily. None of us will cry now coz the readers will get bored too, haina? 😉

Manik smiled and soon they again resumed packing when Manik noticed something and immediately snatched it gaining her attention.

Nandini: *snatching from him and speaking loudly* Aree, woh mera hai...

Manik: *shouting* Oh hello, who said that? Its mine..

Nandini: *loudly* What but isme mai hu...

Manik: *snatching it from her* Haa toh, mai bhi hu and its my favourite so I am not giving it...

Nandini: *snatching again* But I am keeping it..

Manik: No

Nandini: Yes

Manik: No

Nandini: Yes

Manik: No

By now all the family members were gathered hearing loud voices and were shocked to see them fighting like cats and dogs. Murthys too joined them and Ishita looked like she would faint seeing her Nandu arguing like a child with her husband...

Nyo: Chup... Bilkul chup! Manik, princess jo keh rahi hai wo sahi hai..

Manik: *shocked* What? Lekin mom aapko pata bhi nahi hai wo kya keh rahi hai

Nyo: That doesnt matter...

Ishita: Offcourse it does Nyo, mera Manik is right! Do you get that?

Manik grinned and Nandini looked frustrated. Now both the mothers start their bickering without even knowing what the fight is for! 🤣

Abhi: *to Cabir* Bro what is the fight for?

Cabir: *laughing* God knows, hume kya.. hume toh drama dekhne ko mil gaya na...

Abhi: *highfiving Cabir* Wo bhi free mai!

Naira: *glaring at both brothers and spoke sarcastically* Popcorn du?

By now both husbands had got their wives apart whereas Manan were still arguing so Naira went and stood in between making both halt.

Naira: Now will you both tell me what the fight is for?

Nandini: *pouting cutely* See na barbie doll, your bhai is such a monster....

Manik: *shocked* What? Fine then if I am a monster than you are a mini-monster... like chota packet, bada dhamaka!

Nandini: *making a haww face* Chota packet? Are you trying to make fun of my height?

Manik: Wow, you are smart doctor Nandini..

Nandini: *flicking her hair* I am born smart Mr Eifel Malhotra!

Manik: What the hell! Eifel Malhotra, like seriously that was so lame Mrs Chota packet Eifel Malhotra!

And they again started! It was endless, making Naira yell to shut them up whilst all palmed their ears!

Naira: Baat kya thi? And pls iss baar I want answer, a proper one!

Manik: She wants to take our wedding frame with her but its my favourite..

All burst out laughing at their silly reason while Manan huffed. Naira and both mothers were glaring at them whereas they stood unaffected.

Naira: Seriously? Itne chote matter pe bacho ki tarah lad rahe ho dono? Bhai, bhabhi will take this photo and before you start again, I will ask the photographer to get the same pic with same frame ok?

She then went and kept the photo in Nandu's bag whereas Manik grinned widely at this idea looking adorable. Nandini couldnt control but give a peck on his cheek but then end up hiding in his chest as everyone looked at them wide eyed. All laughed at her shyness whereas Manik chuckled and took her in his arms. Lunch was a fun filled event after that with Manik not even letting anyone touch the cupcakes made by Nandini. All were gaping at him for behaving like a majnu while he could care less and Nandini was doing her all time favourite thing, blushing! Nandini then went and changed into something comfortable fo the flight.

Soon they were in the car moving to the airport where everyone asked Manan to come in a seperate car respecting their privacy. Manan were more than happy with this and were holding hands all the way. When they reached the airport, she was about to move out when Manik stopped her.

Manik: *tugging her hand* Wait na...

He pulled her in a hug smiling warmly which she reciprocated wrapping her hands around his torso.

Manik: *still in hug* Waise did you just call me baby today, sweetheart? *she blushed profusely realising it and he pecked her hair* I loved it though, call me that more often... And yes call me immediately when you reach there.

Soon they got out, she hugged everyone and formal side hug for Manik as Arneha were there too. After a last glance she moved in along with Arneha and everyone went to their respective home. This time no one cried as promised to her.
