It was yet again a beautiful morning in Malhotra mansion. Two souls, soon going to be love birds, are cocooned in each others arms peacefully. Nandini had her head rested on his chest as he was lying on his back with his one arm holding her waist. Both were still tired from the wedding rituals and were sleeping peacefully but how can our suraj dada see this😜, he shown in his full glory peeking through the curtains, waking up our Manik's queen! Nandini opened her eyes, rubbing them cutely and yawning a bit. She was about to get up when she noticed her husband holding her waist tight. She smiled at this and looked at him sleeping cutely with mouth slightly open, lips parted and his breathing soft. Her one hand unknowning went to his hair on their own accord to caress them slowly making sure not to wake him up. She slowly removed his hands from her waist and went to washroom not before pecking his forehead making him smile in his sleep too! 💓

She came out wearing a simple yet beautiful green kurti and pajama, her hair wet, cascading down her shoulder. She was drying her hair with a towel when she noticed the time and decided to wake him up. She went close to him and softly called his name but he just hmmed and slept again making her giggle on his cuteness.

N: *in mind* Ayiappa, yeh itne cute kyu hai? Just like a baby, my baby! *blushing slightly* Ayyio Nandu kya soche ja rahi hai, pagal kahi ki! Seriously, Baby? I never thought I would give such cheesy name, uff! But inhe uthana toh padega hi, chal Nandu! *tapping his shoulder* Manik.... Manik uthiye, see its morning...... Manik...

He slowly opened his eyes only to be presented with a pleasant view of his wife's face close to his as she was waking him up leaning a bit. He immediately pulled her down resulting in her wet hair slaping his face slightly. He sighed dreamily as his nostrils fills with the coconut and vanilla fragrance of her shampoo from her freshly washed hair. She blushed and moved back immediately, tucking her hair strands behind her ears.

N: *smiling cutely and pecking his cheek* Good morning hubby! Happy Valentine's day!

M: *cupping her face and pecking her both cheeks* Best morning! Good morning to you too wifey! And a very happy Valentine's day!

N: *getting up and walking to dressing table* Chaliye get up, its already 9am and we need to go down as well!

He walked up to her and turned her to him. She raised her brows asking what to which he smiled and cupped her face. He leaned forward and pecked her forehead making her smile and close her eyes.

M: *still cupping her face* You look beautiful but tumne saree kyu nahi pehni? *dreamily* You know I love to see you in saree! You look mesmerising in it, not that you dont in other outfits but...

N: *looking down shyly* Mai change kardeti hu!

M: *instantly* Nahi, you dont need to. I mean you look good in this too!

N: *smiling* Theek hai, you go and freshen up, mai aapka wait karti hu. We will go down together.

M: *nodding* Ok but pls take out clothes as we are already running late!

N: *wide eyes* Mai?

M: *biting his lower lips* Ofcourse tum afterall you are my only wife, hmmm?

She nodded and he went to washroom smilingly whereas she went to closet to take out his clothes. Soon she was arranging the bed when she heard the bathroon door click so she looked up but immediately gasped and turned around closing her eyes tight. Startled by her reaction he too jerked his head towards her.

M: *worried* Kya hua?

N: *stammering* Woh...woh..

M: *irritated* Ab woh woh ke aage bhi kuch bolo Nandu!

N: *still stuttering* Woh... aapne ku.. kuch pehna kyu nahi?

He immediately looked at himself and felt embarased a bit! Actually as per his habit, he came out just with a towel wrapped around his waist, forgetting the fact that their was one more person in the room now. But than his frown changed into smirk as a naughty idea popped in his head. He went close to her with her bare back almost touching his bare front and traced his fingers from her shoulder to her arms all the way to her fingers. She gasped with this sudden proximity as it was all new to her. Her heart beats were racing so fast that she felt her heart would immediately come out of her chest. He entwined their fingers and wrapped both of their hands around her tiny waist, back hugging her and nuzzling in her neck. She as a response leaned back on him and he spoke huskily.

M: *huskily* Pehna toh hai maine towel wifey! *she could not respond as she was feeling hell shy* Hmm bolo? And if you are talking about my upper body than I dont mind you seeing me this way as this is your right and only yours!

He suddenly noticed something and turned her around, pulling her close. She was just looking down unable to handle his gaze so he lifted her face by holding her chin.

M: Shona why did you change, maine kaha tha na that its ok? *yes she changed into a saree but in not getting any response he asked again teasingly* Bolo na, why are you so quiet?

N: *cutely looking down again* Ab aap itne paas aise bina kuch pehne khade rahenge toh mai kaise kuch bol paungi.

That was it he laughed on her cuteness and pecked her cheek hard making her blush and face palm herself. He smiled and thought to wear something and not tease her more so took the clothes and went to closet. After a while he came out wearing a simple tshirt with black ripped jeans and a leather jacket as she selected for him.

M: Hmm so ab bolo why did you change, I mean that looked good too.

N: *encircling her hand around his neck* Ab pehli baar maire husband ne kuch wish kiya toh mai kaise woh fulfill nahi karti? And waise bhi you know na, I like saree, so chill! Acha maira ek kaam karenge pls?

M: *bowing* At your service madam!

N: *giggling and forwarding sindoor* Mairi maang bhar dijiye pls!

He smiled brightly at this and taking a pinch of vermillion in between his fingers, he filled her hairline and pecked her forehead. She then asked him to quickly finish getting ready after which both went downstairs. She on seeing Raj on dining table went and hugged him from back keeping her hands around his neck and pecked his cheek.

N: Good morning papa!

R: Good morning princess!

Both of them wished everyone and settled on breakfast table when Raj spoke.

R: Manik, Nandu bacho aaj tum dono ko office ana padega as I have called an advocate along to sign your marriage papers and get the certificate, ok? And yes princess, ummm... you might have to hide your....

N: *smiling* Its ok papa, I know people in office shouldnt know about our marriage, you dont worry!

Suddenly Manik's phone rang and he got up to attend it as it was from office. He talked and came back in a while.

M: Dad, what time is the advocate coming?

R: Manik they will be coming after lunch by 2pm but why? Is everything ok?

M: *looking at Nandu* Actually, I need to go to the site before that so, I will directly come to MI?

It was more of a question to Nandini who understood and blinked her eyes smiling at him to which he too passed a smile. But one person was not happy with this and it was none other than Nyonika!

Ny: What is this Manu? Shaadi ko 2 din bhi nahi hue and you are going to work that too on Valentine's day! But mai expect bhi kisse kar rahi hu rabji, yeh ladka workaholic tha aur wahi rahega shaadi ke baad bhi! Bechari Nandu!

M: *pouting* Mom yaar, kyu guilty feel karva rahe ho? Construction site pai kuch issue ho gaya hai, thats why I need to go pls!

Ny: *still angry* Mujhse kya pls bol raha hai, apni wife se bol!

M: *shrugging his shoulder* She already said yes!

He said it by mistake but realising it he bit his tongue whereas Nandini glared at him to which he made a puppy face. All were just gaping at them!

Nai: Bhai, aapne bhabhi se kab pucha, abhi toh aapko call aya na?

M: *looking here and there* Woh..woh haa she has already told me not to compromise with the work haina Nandu?

Nandini nodded in a yes which pissed Nyonika more and she glared at her too.

Ny: *sternly* Nandu dekh abhi se na ise kabu mai rakh, jyada lenient hone ki zarurat nahi hai warna haath se nikal jayega, samjhi?

C: *laughing* Wah kya saas hai, apni bahu se apne hi bete ko kabu mai karvana chati hai!

Ny: *smirking* Chup kar, mai Navya ko bhi yahi advice dene wali hu in future!

That is it all burst out laughing and Cabir made a bad face. Seeing Nyonika pissed, Naksh spoke.

Nak: Chachi relax na, Cabir has a small meeting too so if you want I will accompany Manik!

Ny: *smiling* No need bacha, aaj Valentine's day hai so you spend your time with Keerti! Maire toh dono bete bekar hai atleast teesra toh sensible hai!

All laughed again and this time both Manbir made bad face whilst Naksh side hugged Nyo who was sitting beside him. After this, breakfast was a fun affair. Manik went to his room after breakfast to get changed into formals amd Nandini went to kitchen to help the ladies.

Ny: Nandu, jaa toh bacha dekh if Manik needs anything.

Nandini smiled and went to their room to see him already changed in his formals standing in front of mirror. She went forward and asked him if he needs anything to which he smiled and nodded in a no!

M: Shona, are you fine with me going? Actually its urgent otherwise, I wouldnt have...

N: *cutting him off* I know Manik it must be important thats why you are going so you dont need to explain. Waise ek baat puchu? *he nodded gesturing her to go ahead* Do you mind me wearing western? Woh aaj office mai pehne ke liye..

He turned to her being amused with her question and held her hand.

M: *still amused* Nandini do you really think I am that orthodox? *thinking something* Hmm I think I know why you asked this. Its because I said that I like you in saree isnt it? *she nodded making him sigh and cup her face* Look shona, I just said I like you in saree that doesnt mean that you only have to wear saree all the time and besides I want the same Nandini as I met in Cafe and became friends with so you dont need to change. And do you really think I will ask you to wear saree everyday in london? You are not even going to wear it at all as I am not there to see you in it! *saying this he winked at her*

N: *hugging him* Thank you!

M: *hugging her back* Oye bhul gayi, friendship mai...

N: *smiling, she completed him* No sorry, no thank you!

M: Exactly, now hato let me get ready, you distract me a lot!

Hearing him she made a cute pout to which he laughed and pulled her nose. She again made a bad face and he laughed more.

M: *pecking her cheek* Oh god, you are so cute shona!

Soon both went downstairs and Nandini went till the door to see him off. He smiled and pecked her forehead.

M: See you at MI shona, I will directly come their and you come with dad ok!

She nodded and waved him bye!
