They departed in Manik's car to Murthy villa. There was silence throughout the journey, with soft music playing and cute small eyelocks they reached their destination. As soon as the car stopped, Nandini literally ran inside shouting for her Appa making Manik smile at her craziness. Nandini went inside to see Raman waiting for her with his arms open. She immediately flunged herself in his arms, hugging him tightly. She then went and hugged Abhi too who was present there. Manik entered and greeting Raman, he hugged Abhi. Raman was very happy seeing his princess so happy and chirpy. He was silently blessing her and praying for her happiness. Nandini looked around for Ishita but not finding her she asked Raman.

N: Appa, amma kaha hai?

Ra: *smiling* Woh aur teri bestie kitchen mai hai, go meet them.

Nandini smiled and went to the kitchen whereas Manik, Raman and Abhi settled in living room chatting. Nandini on reaching the kitchen, tip toed to her Amma, who was working with her back facing the entrance along with Navya, and back hugged her. Ishita on feeling the hug smiled whole heartedly and hugged her tightly, turning to her. Navya too was smiling at the duo.

I: *in the hug* Kanna, kesi hai tu?

N: *breaking the hug and twirling around* Ek dum mast, dekho!

I: *cupping her face* Bohot bohot beautiful lag rahi ho!

N: *smiling* Woh toh lagna hi tha, aapki jo saree hai yeh!

Then she hugged Navya who hugged her back tightly.

Na: Hello bestie!

N: Hi Navu! Kesi hai aur chachu kaise hai unse mai kab se nahi mili!

Na: Woh bilkul thik hai, tujhe bohot yaad karte hai!

Suddenly her phone rang and seeing the caller Id she smiled brightly. Nandini too smirked looking at that smile.

N: *smirking* Jaa jaa Cabu bhai ka phone hai toh private mai baat karni hogi naa!

Navya blushed and left the kitchen leaving the mother daughter duo laughing. Nandini started helping Ishita randomly blabbering and her mother keenly listening to her. Suddenly Nandu asked something making Ishita smile.

N: Amma aap batao na aapka first day after marriage, how did you feel?

I: Mera first day itna normal nahi tha beta. *slightly emotional* Actually my family that is your Nani, Nanu and Mamu went to a wedding but I had a important appointment so I didnt but uss time unki car ka accident ho gaya and they all di..... died! *Nandu immediately hugged her with tears in her eyes too* Amma meri maa ki bohot close friend thi so she brought me to her house but the society at that time was really orthodox, me living in the same house as your appa without marriage raised some questions so your Amms decided to get us married. Mere wedding ke first day pe I was still not out of the trauma of my family's demise. But ya, jab sab kuch thik ho gaya tab it was the most amazing thing ever, falling for your Appa a little bit everyday, waking up everyday in his protective arms was the most content feeling, unki woh choti choti cheezo ka dyaan rakhna became my habit as well as hobby. Apni family ke liye cook karna, unka khyaal rakhna became my most favourite thing. But you know in all this, your Appa made sure that my career doesn't take a backseat. He was proud that his wife is a dentist. Abhi ke ane ke baad bhi, amma made sure that I give enough time to my clinic by taking care of Abhi and your Appa became my biggest support system.

Ishita was smiling brightly, reminishing thier old days and Nandu too was smiling at their cute love story.

N: *side hugging Ishu* Appa is the best husband ever na?

I: *winking* He sure is but, Manik will be too!

Nandini blushed and resumed her work making Ishita giggle. Soon Navya joined them and they served lunch on the dinning table. Manik came and hugged Ishita after taking her blessing.

I: *in the hug* Manu kesa hai beta?

M: *breaking the hug* Ekdum fine Ishimaa aap kaise ho?

I: *pulling his cheeks* Absolutely fit and fine handsome!

M: *side hugging* And always stay like this, beautiful!

Navnibhi were admiring their bond whereas Raman made a bad face!

Ra: *glaring Manik* Not fair, maine tujhe apni beti di hai na, so ab toh meri wife ke saath flirt karna bandh kar!

M: *smirking* Ha toh meri wife ko koi problem nahi hai, kyu Nandu? *he looked at Nandu who nodded in a no* See!

Ra: *pulling Ishita* Lekin mujhe hai, meri wife hai yaar!

M: *again pulling Ishita* Ha toh meri bhi beautiful hai!

I: *kissing his cheek* Absolutely handsome!

Raman made a really bad face at this and Navnibhi giggled. Nandu side hugged her Appa making him smile. They all then had lunch with lots of masti. After lunch, Manik and Abhi went to his room to play X-box, Ishra went to rest in their room whereas Navya pulled Nandu to her room.

Na: *settling on bed* So now tell me how was your first night with jijaji?

N: *blushing a bit* Haww Navya, yeh kya puch rahi hai tu? *looking up* Ayiappa, itna direct koi puchta hai kya?

Na: What do you mean by haww? Mai teri best friend hu so mai nahi puchungi toh kon puchega? Ab jaldi bata!

N: *smiling remebering last night moments* It was beautiful but aisa kuch nahi hua jaisa tu soch rahi hai!

Na: *sadly* Are kyu?

N: *slapping Navya's head lightly* Navya hum ek room mai bhi nahi soye aur tu apni imagination kaha se kaha le gai! Murthy's mai ritual hai that after the puja, that happened today, only we can stay as a married couple!

Na: *wide eyes* Matlab aaj raat ko....

N: *cutting her off* Shut up! Aur tere time aisa nahi hoga dont worry! Tu toh shadi ki raat ko hi.... *Navya blushed and hit her making her chuckle* Acha on a serious note, lets talk, its been long! How's things between you and bhai?

Na: *smiling* Things are going good. Pata hai jab mai Cabir se pehli baar Murthy industry mai mili thi, when he came for meeting, I thought he would be very arrogant as he was so professional and second time jab ek party mai mili, when me and Abhi attended his and Manik bhai's birthday party, he was completely different, a total goofball. But still I never thought he would be so romantic, until we spend some time together and decided to give this relationship a chance, he is completely different with me! Mujhe nahi lagta usse jyada pyaar mujhe koi aur kar sakta hai, he cares for me, respects me and never in this 2 years of relationship has he tried to cross his limits. Meri har choti choti baat yaad hai usse, infact kuch toh mujhe bhi yaad nahi hoti. I don't know what I did to deserve him!

She was smiling all the while when Nandini took her in a bear hug feeling very happy for her. They were in their own world unknown to the fact that their convo was accidently heard by someone else who was none other than Manik. He had came out to attend a call and was just passing by the room when he heard Nandini taking Cabir's name. He was proud of his brother and also very elated that his brother has someone who loves him so much. He left from there not wanting to intrude more in best friends talk.

N: *breaking the hug* I am so happy for you! But what have you guys thought further? I mean dont take me wrong, I dont want to intrude but I am just excited for you both!

Na: *glaring* Bas na, kitna formal ho rahi hai, you know I can never take you wrong get that straight in your mind. And about further than he hasn't proposed me yet so...

N: *intantly* Toh tu kar lena! Its 21st century, zaroori toh nahi ki hamesha ladka hi propose kare! Plus tommorow is Valentine's day, perfect day to propose! Plan something na.....

Na: *hesitant* Lekin woh abhi ready nahi hua toh....

N: Ummm..... toh engagement ke liye propose kar le, I am sure he wouldn't mind that.

Na: * hugging Nandu tight* Thank you, thank you, thank you so much! Best idea!

N: *raising her imaginary collar* I know, Nandini Malhotra is the best!

Na: Ahem... ahem.. Malhotra han? Acha hai, abhi se aadat daal rahi ho! Btw hum dono shaadi ke baad bhi ek ghar mai, kitna maza aye ga! Neha toh puri jal jayegi ye sun ke!

N: Oh hello, madam Neha ko hamari shaadi ke bare mai nahi batana, yaad hai na?

Na: *assuringly* Han han yaad hai!

N: *smiling* Waise life bhi kitni ajeeb hoti hai na, I mean jab mai yaha aa rahi thi tab maine sapne mai bhi nahi socha tha ki maire saath aisa kuch hoga and see now I am married *carressing her mangalsutra*. Manik ne kabhi nahi socha hoga ki jis ladki se woh airport pe takraye the usi se do hafto mai shaadi ho jayegi. *chuckling* Nyo maa, Cabir bhai ki shaadi ka soch rahi thi aur unke dusre bete ki he shaadi ho gayi!

Na: *smiling* Yahi hota hai, hum kuch plan kar rahe hote hai and thats when life happens! It has its own plans! Kabhi ache toh kabhi bure! Khair woh chod aur bata tune Manik bhai se seperation ki baat ki, you have to return to UK soon now!

N: *sadly nodding in a no* Nahi time hi nahi mila, aur himmat bhi nahi horahi Navu! In just 2 weeks, unse itna attachment ho gaya hai ki ab dur jane ke bare mai sochte hi ek emptiness feel hone lagti hai.

Na: *smiling sadly and holding her hands* But Nandu baat toh karni padegi na, otherwise it will become more difficult when it happens. *changing the topic* Woh sab chod, I have a good news, woh Riya hai na, hamari batchmate......

They both started talking on random topics not realising the time at all (girls afterall 😝😜). It was evening when a servant came to call them downstairs. They went downstairs together when Abhi commented!

Ab: *sarcastically* Lo aa gayi madams, bohot jaldi nahi ayi aap, thodi aur baate karleti. We would have wait!

Na: *smirking* Abhi tum jealous ho, Awww so cute! *pulling his cheeek*

Ab: *snapping her hand* Mai koi jealous wealous nahi hu and Navya kitni baar bola hai dont pull my cheeks, I dont like it!

N: *smirking* Ha Navu samjha kar, yeh right sirf meri bhabhi ka hoga hena bhai?

Abhi glared at her and was about to say something when he was stopped by Ishita. They all chatted for a while when Goenkas entered, after visiting a relative's house, at dinner time. They all had dinner and Manan bid bye to all especially Goenkas as they were leaving for london tommorow. Soon they were on the roads of Mumbai in silence when Nandini asked something.

N: Ummm.... Manik can I open the window please?

M: *glancing at her* No! *her face fell making him smile and continue* Tum apni car mai sab puch puch ke karti ho? *she nodded in no* Then? Shona whatever is mine is yours too so feel free to do anything!

She smiled and opened the window letting the cool wind blow her hair giving Manik a pleasant view to watch. Suddenly he stopped the car making her raise her eyebrow at him.

M: *smiling* Our second icecream date! Chale?

Nandu was standing outside the car leaning on the bonnet whereas Manik went to get their kulfi from the stall. He came back with one in his hand.

M: Ek hi hai, you have it, I am not feeling like having it anyway!

Nandini took it from his hands, took a bit from it and immediately closed her eyes feeling it cold. He was just admiring her cute face when she forwarded the kulfi to him to which he denied, making her glare at him.

N: *glaring* Manik abhi apne bola na ki its a date and as far as I know it happens between two people so if you are not having it than its not a date! Thats why, without any tantrum have it from this side for I have not had it from there.

Manik was smiling like a fool hearing the authority in her tone. He held her hand which was holding the kulfi, twisted a bid and had it from where she did.

M: *caressing her cheek* Do you really think, I mind eating your ort?

Nandini blushed and the date continued with talks, laughter and giggles. Soon they reached home and as soon as they entered, Nandini was dragged by Naira and Keerti to Manan's room. They open the door of the room only to make her gasp....
