Nandini stopped on the way to exit as someone caught her hand from behind. She turned to see a guy standing there. She immediately removed her hand from his hold.

Nandini: Ummm... who are you?

Guy: Oh, you don't remember me? I am Harshad Saxena. Your father's business partner. We met two years ago at a business party.

Nandini: *with a fake smile* Sorry I still cant remember you.

Harshad: It's ok, we can get to know each other. How about a coffee with me?

Nandini: *with wide eyes* Abhi? I am sorry but my family is waiting for me.

Harshad: No problem! Tomorrow at 4 pm at Cafe Barista?

He saw that Nandini was still unsure about it. She was feeling a bit uncomfortable with his presence and was fumbling with her words.

Harshad: *with a smirk* Come on Nandini, its not such a bad thing. I mean it will increase our business relationships and who knows we can be friends too.

Nandini: *after thinking a while* Ok I will come. But for now, I need to leave, so bye!

And without waiting for his answer she walked away. But what she failed to notice was that smug look on his face which was indicating his intentions and they were more than that of just friendship.

She reached outside only to see her brother standing there leaning on the wall with one hand in his pocket and other holding his phone which he was looking at. She smiled brightly forgetting her conversation with Harshad and screamed his name which brought his attention to her.

Nandini: Abhi bhaiiiii

She ran to him and he too opened his arms for her with a wide grin. She immediately flung herself in his arms and he chuckled holding her tight in his arms.

Nandini: I missed you so much bhai!

Abhi: I missed you too baby doll! Kesi hai tu? And how is everything there?

Nanidni: Bhai mujhe car me to bethne do sab batati hu.

He chuckled and took her luggage from her and moved to the car. They settled in the car and soon were off on the busy roads of Mumbai.

Abhi: Chal ab bata.

Nandini: Bhai I am fine, and everything is fine over there too. Aap batao how are you and hows work? Koi girlfriend mili?

Abhi: *pouts* Nai na koi patti hi nahi but, ab tu aa gayi hai na to tu hi dhoond lena apni bhabhi.

Nandini: Achaji?

Abhi: Haanji.

Both burst out laughing on their banter. Soon they reached their villa where Ishita and Raman were standing on the door with aarti thal in Ishu's hand.

On the other side, Manik came out of the airport from another gate so neither Manbir saw Abhi nor, Abhi saw them. Cabir immediately pounced on Manik as soon as he saw him due to which Manik had to balance himself to avoid falling.

Manik: *laughing* Cabir aram se, mai yahi hu! Tu to aise emotional horahe jaise mai 1 saal baad aya hu, 1 month hi to hua hai!

With this, he received a punch on his shoulder from Cabira.

Cabir: Salle! Aik to maine tujhe miss kiya or tu mera mazak uda raha hai.

Manik: * hugging him* I missed u too bro! Chale ab?

They both loaded the luggage in the car and left for Malhotra mansion where Nyo was waiting for them. She did his aarti and took him into a hug with tears in her eyes. He too took her blessing and kissed her forehead after wiping her tears. Soon they settled in the living room and servant gave them water! Manik then laid his head in Nyo's lap and she started caressing his hair.

Nyonika: Kaisa hai tu? Bcoz as far as I know you, bohot sare meals skip kiye honge hai na?

Manik: * snuggling in her tummy* Aap ho na ab. Aap compensate kar dena.

Nyonika: Tera kuch nahi ho sakta abb to tuje teri wife hi sudhar sakti hai!

Cabir: *jumping in the convo* Ha bhai mom is right. Kab aye gi meri bhabhi? THE MANIK MALHOTRA ho or koi girlfriend bhi nahi.

Manik glared at him immediately.

Nyonika: Manu use aakhe mat dikha wo sahi keh raha hai. Kab milwayega meri bahu se?

Manik: Kya mom koi dhang ki milni bhi to chahiye na.

Nyonika: Kaise ladki chahiye tuje?

Manik: Bilkul aap or Ishi maa jaise.

Cabir: Mumma's boy!

Nyo smiles. She asked them to freshen up and come down for lunch. After lunch, Cabir went to MI, Nyo to her NGO and Manik to his room to rest.

In Murthy Villa,
Nandini and Abhi came out of the car and Abhi asked the servant to take her luggage to her room. They moved to the main door. Nandu immediately hugged her amma and appa together and started sobbing.

Raman: *caressing her hair* Princess! Shhh.. dont cry!

Ishita: *with tears* Gudiya we missed you a lot!

Nandini: *still sobbing* I missed you all too!

They broke the hug. Ishita did her aarti and she took her parents' blessing. They moved to the living room and settled down! Nandu was sitting side hugging Raman with her head on his shoulder.

Ishita: Princess, kitni patli ho gai ho, khati nahi thi kya?

Abhi: Kya amma yeh moti aapko kaha se patli lagti hai?

Nandini: *with wide eyes and mouth* Kya bhai aapko mai moti lagti hu? *whining* Appa dekho naaa!

Raman: Abhi meri princess ko tang mat karo!

Abhi: Sorry nandu! Tu moti hi nahi shorty bhi hai!

And with the tom and jerry fight started. Abhi was running and Nandu was chasing him! Raman and Ishita were laughing seeing their children happy.

Ishita: Ok ok ab bas bhi karo! Chalo go freshen up fir lunch karte hai. Nandu aaj all your fav dishes!

Nandini: Wow main abhi aai!

With this, she ran to her room and Abhi too smilingly moved to his. Soon they settled on the dining table, where all Nandu's fav dishes were: Dosa, Idli, Rasam, Rice, Samosa, Aloo paratha and Payassam.

Nandini: Wow! Itna sab! I love you amma! *kissing her amma's cheek*

Ishita: I love you too bacha! * kissing her back*

After lunch, Raman and Abhi left to the office after promising their princess to return early! Ishita and Nandu move to Nandini's room to spend mom-daughter time and to rest!
