Getting To Know ProjectEvangeline and ProjectCharlieSmith
Interview with Project Evangeline

Q: What motivated you to start this campaign?
A: The death of a person I knew named Evangeline motivated me to start this campaign. Her committing suicide was one of the most heartbreaking things that I ever had to hear for me, and I never want another person to go through the same pain.
Q2: What does it feel like being the one left behind?
A: It's pretty hard to explain. Some days it feels like it was a century ago; others, only a day. Overall, it's tough. To be honest, I actually never knew her that well. But her death changed my life and caused me to save the lives of several other people, which is why I call her my friend now.
Q3: What advice would you give a suicidal person?
A: There is still so much that everyone has yet to do. Some people who are suicidal actually don't want to die, but just want their pain to end. Instead of ending your life when it's getting tough, become stronger so you can overcome it. There are still places to visit, people to meet, adventures to go on, and memories to make. Who would want to give up the things that would make your life better?
Q4: What are your top 5 personal reasons to live?
A: This campaign is definitely one of my reasons to live. I've already talked several people out of suicide and I've helped one person who had two friends that self-harmed. I've helped so much and I want to keep helping. My family is another reason. They've supported me in so many ways, and I'm not going to throw my life away when I still owe so much to them. The same goes for my friends, even though I consider them my family. Writing is my third reason to live because it's my escape from the real world. I can write whatever I want to write about and I can do just about anything. My fourth reason to live is to stand up for those who don't have a voice. I strongly believe in equal rights and I am dedicated to helping all who need it. If I died, that would be one less person to stand up for what is right. Finally, my main reason to live is for the future. There are so many things waiting for me ahead, and I can't wait to see what they are!

Q: What motivated you to start this campaign?
A: I had trouble with lots of things when I was younger, so I decided to create a campaign based off of it.
Q2: What does life after Suicide mean to you?
A: People who have self-harmed before (whether with heat or a blade) you are surviving
Q3: What advice would you give a suicidal person?
A: I would tell them that they're hurting now, but it gets better. If you look, you'll see living examples of it
Q4: What are your top 5 personal reasons to live?
A: God (Jehovah) loves you, and doesn't want to see you hurt. He tells us that Satan is in control of the earth, and that's why all the bad things are happening (1 John 5:19) He wants us to call on him, and he will save us from distress.
