Chapter 9: Choices

"You," Tsunami said with growl in her throat, "You stupid monster!"
"Now Tsunami," the dragon said, "I don't think we formally introduced each other. I am Jigoku and I already know your name is Tsunami,"
"You are teaming up with humans who just wanna rid the world of us!" She shouted in anger.
"Alright now listen. I will let all of the dragons go," the black drake reasoned.
"Really!" She said in surprise.
"Yes, but under one condition."
"What," she said confused.
"When you are old enough," he began as a smirk spread across his face, "You will become my mate,"
"What!" She said in shock. She barely even knew this dragon and he wanted to mate with her? There was no explanation of how she was feeling at that moment however she did know that she definitely did not want to mate with him. She then growled in response and glared at him, "I will not mate with you Jigoku! And you can't make me!"
"Then everyone here will be stuck here including you!" Jigoku growled, "But if you do become my mate then you will be pampered until your eggs hatch and after that you will be released."
"What about the hatchlings?" She asked. She knew she didn't want mate until a few years afterwards but she certainly didn't want to leave her hatchlings.
"Oh they will stay with me," he smirked.
"How long do I have to decide," she asked with a slight growl escaping her maw.
"A week and if you decide to be my mate then all the dragons will be released then and there,"
"Okay, can I go now," she said.
"Yes," Jigoku said as he gestured towards the door, "Oh and by the way you are free for the day,"
She then got exited as the chains were unlocked. She shook her feet and she ran out the door. She then looked around gazing at the sights. She then heard the sounds of dragons working outside. She walked towards the door it came from and looked through the metal bars that formed a window. They were all building some type of structure. She saw as they worked with aching muscles and sore feet. She felt bad for them and wanted them to be free. But she certainly did not want to mate with anyone. She then had a plan. She wasn't sure if it was going to work but it was possible.
A few hours later, it was time for lunch and they were all given a deer corpse. She sat down next to Winston who is now sixteen. She was still a little stressed about what Jigoku had said and Winston could easily see it.
"Hey sis. What's bothering you," He asked.
"Well, Jigoku had told me that he would let all of the dragons free," she began as she saw the hope in Winston's eyes, "However, when I'm ready, I will have to mate with him,"
"What!" Winston shouted causing all of the other dragons to look at him. Tsunami rolled her eyes as everyone started talking to each other again.
"However I have a plan to escape," she said with a slight smirk, "You just have to execute it."
"Okay so what's the plan," Winston asked. Tsunami then looked around. She told him everything. He nodded every once and a while to show that he was listening. She was proud of her plan it was almost unstoppable. When she was done he nodded in response saying that it was a well thought out plan.
"Alright dragons!" A human yelled as the room went silent. The dragons all looked up at him in sadness and annoyance, "It is now time to go back to work! Now come!"
They hugged and then Winston went towards the human as he wrapped chains around their maws. Winston looked back at Tsunami as the human wrapped the chains around his maw covering the scars that it had left behind. She was then taken out of the cafeteria and through the metal hallways. This time they went in the opposite direction of the normal cells and instead they put her into a nicely furnished room with a nice nest made with blankets and quilts and in the opposite corner there was a sofa that Tsunami went straight over to inspect it. She put a paw on the sofa and it sunk down a little. She then hopped on it and a sense of relaxation shot up through her body as she felt less alert and more comfortable. She felt herself doze off into a light sleep. She began to sink into her mind when she heard the sound of a metal door shutting close. She woke up and looked around remembering where she was put. She knew that she couldn't trust these humans no matter how much she was pampered. She then walked to the nest and sunk into the blankets and quilts. She knew their tactics and she knew that they were trying to get her trust. However, she took a liking into the room and fell asleep.

"Tsunami!" Ash yelled as he was flying around the valley, "Tsunami where are you!"
"Did you find her?" Shadow asked flying up to Ash.
"Does it look like it?" Ash said in annoyance.
"She couldn't have disappeared," Mizu said in tears as she flew up to the two drakes followed by Kori, "I already lost my son and now Tsunami?"
Mizu then began to cry as Shadow brought her into his arms. Kori and Ash watched as Shadow calmed Mizu down. They could hear Shadow whispering something but they couldn't hear what. All they knew was that it calmed Mizu down and she stopped crying over the loss of her young. Shadow then gestured them to continue looking and they all separated into different directions.
